I thought that ICS had Chrome bookmark syncing by default. How does it work? I must be missing something.
Simply sync with your google account and your browser (it must be the ICS browser) will automatically import your Chrome bookmarks to your phone.
You can view your bookmarks in your browser

I just realized that bookmarks on trackwise browser on my SGT10.1 have all disappeared! They were synced to my google chrome browser. Any idea how I can get them back? Is there any way I can un-sync and resync with chrome?
Or is there apk for regular honeycomb browser found in xoom?
I have a weird problem: my desktop bookmarks synced with my phone, and appear on the widget, but are not listed as bookmarks. In other words, I deleted all my phone bookmarks (and currently have none), but that doesnt remove the Chrome bookmarks from the widget, they are still there. Already went to Settings/Account & Sync/my google account, and unchecked "sync Internet" but that didnt fix the issue. Any idea how I can get rid of these bookmarks?
Also, if I install Dolphin HD and remove the stock browser, can I sync my Dolphin's bookmarks with the HTC Bookmarks' widget?
Thanks
So after some search i figured that my desktop Chrome bookmarks sync with the phone through ChromeBookmarksSyncAdapter.apk. After I made sure it isnt a system core app, I removed it, restarted the phone, and checked all apps that sync in Account & Sync, so far no issues whatsoever...
I also deleted the stock Browser, and htc bookmark because apparently there is no option to make it sync with Dolphin browser
I upgraded to the official ICS Sense 3.6 not too long ago and I've been trying to add the internet bookmarks widget from HTC. When I add it to my homescreen it syncs all of the bookmarks that I have in my Chrome browser from my PC. I'm trying to figure out a way to not sync the bookmarks and have whatever bookmarks I want on my phone. Does anyone know how to not sync the bookmarks and get rid of the sync'd bookmarks altogether without the bookmarks being deleted off my google account and/or PC?
chrome is Google so you'd have to stop bookmark syncing by unticking it within the accounts and sync settings for your Google account. believe they're tired so I'd sync everything. unchecked it so it doesn't sync anymore and manually remove them with the HTC widget

I tried not sync the bookmarks in my google account and on my phone and it still adds all the bookmarks from my PC's Chrome browser. I'm using the stock browser on the official HTC ICS Sense 3.6. I tried clearing history, cache, cookies, passwords and it still does it. The Android bookmarks works fine as it allows me to choose the "local" setting for bookmarks, but the official HTC bookmarks widget has this problem of adding all my PC's bookmarks instead of the phone's local bookmarks.
In the stock browser change your bookmark setting from your gmail address to mobile.

where is that option located specifically? I looked in the settings, but I cannot find the bookmark setting. I went to bookmarks within the browser and clicked on menu and found a way to click "local" instead of my gmail, but that didn't fix the problem.
I just want to know, where I can find the bookmarks on the gmail webpage, that the default ICS Browser saves to the gmail account... Because, they are NOT saved as gmail bookmarks... And I can't find them anywhere...
Is it possible to add browser sync feature back? Sony hasn't added it because they use Chrome as the stock browser but I would like to sync my bookmarks.
I already tried it with some syncadapter apks but the couldn't be installed or didn't offer an option to sync the browser bookmarks...
