What is this for:
This is a theme for the new ota 2.17 update for CDMA. This should work on most stock deodexed roms that are updated to the new ota 2.17. I use viper rom and it was made with that in mind, but should work regardless on other stock deodexed 2.17 roms. if you try on another rom and confirm it working please report.
What is this:
This will now be DUSK_BLUE_ZONED this is a custom blue theme with tweaks, that has a dusk look to it. and will have more and more added to it as I go.

BUMP! now there is a transparent pulldown update you can just flash over theme in recovery. will be implemented in future releases
I tried the ICS zip theme with my 2.17 ota update viper rom and it kept freezing up.

I will make an update zip with a darker background for people who have white backgrounds to use.
The issue I'm having is my pulldown doesn't look like the one in the skull pics. My notification backgrounds are white as well as my letters so all I have to go on is the box and the icon for the quick settings. The actual pulldown is clear until i get a notification and its that background that is white. The only changes I've made to 2.5 is a little desensifying.... That wouldn't be the difference would it? Any chance you could repost the notification fix you had out for the previous theme? In my haste I deleted it before I installed 1.2.

I am not sure what exactly is happening. if you flashed over evrything It might not be playing nice. If you could tell me what files you took out for desensifing the rom that would help me out a lot in trying to fix this. I will post an update later that you can flash that might fix this. I am at work but when I get home later tonight I will post an update for this. I know this might be a pain but it would realy help me out, if you were to wipe and do a fresh flash of the rom and then flash the new theme to make sure it works right, and then desensify and see if that causes the problem or not. It might be a matter of the new theme did not flash over somthing nicely and you may need to do a fresh install. I will be on later tonight and will be able to do more then. sorry for the problems.

Thanks again for the response. Also, before I installed the latest I was running the previous release and it seemed fine. Not sure if it matters.

I tried it a couple different ways with no success...
Wipe, install rom, theme, and then desensed then boot. Lost the entire notification bar.
Then I wiped, installed rom, booted, installed theme then desensed and still no luck. This time I had the bar but still had white background and white text on the notifications. But the pulldown was transparent.
Lastly I did a full wipe then installed the rom then the theme and kept it totally stock and still had the same result

uhm.. no i didnt forget. im using launcher pro so i didnt really bother to edit the GBlauncher. the progress bar is an xml edit within the frameworks drawable folder, another day another time. i dont really see much of the progress bar either that's why it's also still blue.

I've been busy trying to make the White Hot theme from HERE compatible with the GSM versions of the phone. I did my best since its the first time I'm doing these kinda things, Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do:
(I've made this with KingCobra 1.4 ROM, not sure how it works on other GSM roms, feel free to test and let me know how it works please)

just some FYI, our changelog isn't quite yours lol. Like, you didn't remove down_animation. Do you actually have the custom window transitions? Your lockscreen DOES have both bubbles and text under the icons. You don't have the lock_carrier.txt mod. You don't have bootscootv2 in there either.

Anyway, you DID customize ALL the statusbar icons white to match the theme.
You also DID customize the dropdown background to non-transparent.

Great theme but get a few glitches .
All clocks execpt for the standard flip clock are white , weather lockscreen background is all white , and news widget icon is white. Had these problems with the darktheme by Ajthescot , he has the fix to the weather lock screen glitch. Thxs

Hmm, the new widget and weather lockscreen are bugged indeed, but the thing with the clocks is not.. for me its all working perfectly. Ill have a closer look @ the news widgets and weather lockscreen. Thx!

weather: that bg is in - Idlescreen_Weather.apk. If you decompile with m10 tools it's in the m10 that's something like "weather_bg.m10" - there are 3 images in there you need to change. Add a custom one, it's more fun. Must be a .png image and sized exactly 540x960, and flip it upsidedown

I flashed it by installing from zip in CWM and then rebooted.
However I don't notice the changes?
Do I still have to change some settings on the phone somewhere?

I only say that because I have seen some roms default to a different skin. It did it to me, but the rom defaulted to something other than default.

Not to dig up an old thread or anything. But if i am using GoLauncher and deleted the rosie.apk from kingcobra 1.7 how would this theme affect my phone.
Would it change anything? Would it cause problems? etc.

I keep getting this error not sure if it has to do with theme or the tweaks? Could it be from updating my radios from the latest update?

I rebooted and fixed permissions and it stopped so I have no idea what it was.. Never seen that error before..

Seemed to have run into one issue. Running the blue theme native screenshot worked great but on reddawn
It seems inop again. Tried different settings and nada. Has anyone else run into this?

Yea i noticed thats why i said im updating today to fix a few images like 2 checkboxes and in dialer the phone image whilw scrolling left n right and im TRYING to make the notification bar black. I did everything but the notification bar which im doing now.
Also added ics sounds

These are a multitude of firsts for me. My first Dialer, my first IME, my first flashable.zips, my first modified skin (FYI, the skin is RED, i wouldnt recommend using it with the blue apps) AND my first .xml work!! I have flashed them all several times and they do indeed work. You may find something off or something you don't like, please post all comments, questions or issues here, NOT in the Venom 4G Rom thread, there is no need to clutter that thread up even more.

blues nice, ive always been a fan for sure of both blue and badssed!! they were all i rocked on the og evo,... and riptides stuff before he became part of badseed.

I tried to search on here and on Google as to what the BrushedChaos skin is but this thread is the only place I find it mentioned. Unfortunately I don't know what I'm looking for in the pictures and there's no links to more info. Is it required to use the dialer?

That skin isnt in the market i have pics in the superlte rom thread 4th or 6th post and no its a skin to complete the look if the theme

Updated OP with link to the BrushedChaos skin to eliminate some confusion. Sorry. Also noticed a issue in the blue Dialer, that i will fix as soon as possible. When answering a phone call, the answer and decline button are identical. Sorry

Revised version up. Fixed the "answer/decline" buttons being identical. I f you didn't notice, then I guess ya don't need the fix. lol. If ya did notice and didn't like it, re download the file. I'm not posting a new version, same file name, just revised. SS posted of the fix. Only updated the Blue files, Red did not suffer the issue. If anyone doesnt care for anything, please let me know and I will try to fix it. thanks.

Is there any way you can make the a color change to the selection box that appears when your on a call, the one that allows you to look at the contact card of the person your calling. If you could possibly make that match the same color as your dialer that would be smooth IMO. If its possible I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the mod.

2. I bricked my phone 3 days ago, I got a replacement, but I'm currently stock and trying to track down a 1.12 hboot instead of the one I got.
3. I believe ssojyetti is supposed to be doing some ports of this, maybe in my absence he would be so kind as to help with that request??

Wow! You really want it huh! Welllll, I guess I can try to throw something together tonight, but no guarantee it'll work since I can't test it. I'm currently un-rooted due to a bricked device being replaced.
So... I guess if you know adb well enough to push the stock one back if it fails, I can put something together.
As soon as i am all back up and flashing, ill get somthin full proof for sure.
AND....since you were the first to request it... Did ya want the blue or red so I can do it first?
