I have used this tool, to sign my romcwm.zip.
Download the zip file.
Extract it.
Read the README File...
Rename your zip file to be signed to update.zip and place it in the extracted folder.
Click Zip_signer..
That's it..

Seems zip signer is working on Linux too.
The command is:
Code:
$ CLASSPATH=./lib.jar java testsign update.zip update-finished.zip

I often use the signature archives for TWRP. Thank you for your application.

If thats a paid version of root explorer in that zip you need to remove it. It is against the rules to post it here. Little secret, use pm for that.

No Need to Zip/UnZip
Just open the .zip file
go to the directory you want
Pull the files you want to the desired directory
it will zip them right away and keep the signed (if the .zip was signed)

Just downloading it....sloooooow!
Just had three failed downloads, so going to have to abandon this mission, apologies
no worries thanks anyway
I downloaded the rom.
How am I supposed to extract the Dialer/SecPhone apk?
extract SecDialler.apk & SecPhone.apk from /system/app in the zip and post them somewhere for the OP to download.
I'm pretty sure this is what is needed.
go to /system/apps/ and copy the SecPhone.apk that's all
I cannot extract the system.img
I get an error...
If you currently have DLJ1 on your phone, just copy them from /system/app using a file manager, root explorer etc
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
You need to install the ROM. and go to /system/app using a root browser or something. and copy the SecPhone.apk

If u made changes to the system and have root, get a terminal emulator and use the following code:
Code:
dd if=(system partition) of=(extraction place) BS=4096
So on my phone it would look like:
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p14 of=/mnt/extSdCard/system.img BS=4096
The SYSTEM.IMG is all my system files, compressed into a .img file.
Now you're going to need something like Dsixda's kitchen. Open it and place the system image in the original zip folder. Now open the kitchen and choose MAKE WORKING FOLDER FROM ROM (or something along those lines; I don't have a reference in front of me). The kitchen should convert the system image into a normal ROM files and u can simply zip them up (don't forget the META-INF folder)

More info can be found HERE
I'm using "apktool4.4 run on android" to create rom from my device's system
You can download here, and install it..
code*google*com/p/apktool/downloads/list
to create rom just tap menu button an choose "create ROM"
but you need to create your own updater-script to make your rom perfectly installed..

[BOOTANIMATION] Xbox Boot Animation [HD] for Xperia SP!

Hello Guys!
I am back with my new and great boot-animation for our only Xperia SP!
This is a great and amazing boot-animation
With the logo of Xperia SP a pure white essence just beautify's the phone's look with the X Box logo
It's just amazing
I have attached 3 screenshots which I guess are more than enough for you!
Rest you need to see when you try
This is an aroma flashable file so just boot into recovery and install this amazing boot animation
Some special feautres
* It has sound which intensifies the amazing experience of this boot animation
* It is in potrait mode i.e. You have it in vertical screen
* It is a flashable file. No need to carry all the manual setting like copying, setting permission bla bla. Just download, reboot in recovery, install and enjoy
Q:- I am just loving it, want to try NOW! But how to install it with keeping my current (or original) bootanimation safe!
You just need to go to root of your phone via root explorer the migrate to "/system/media/" there you will find your current or stock bootanimation.zip file. Just copy it and save it to someplace safe.
Then reboot into recovery and install my bootanimation!
Warning : No bricked devices should be blamed at me! Install at your own risk. Recommendation is to always keep a nandroid backup ready!

Though it is purely SAFE! But in-case you know if any mishap happens.
Please hit thanks for this great bootanimation..!
Here is the download link : https://app.box.com/s/quf3wpea5b54vcivdcv0
Request : Every work I do I need resources and currently I am working on various projects along with this bootanimation projects like building a beautiful and super sexy and fast ROM (4.4.4) with all the options to edit your own ROM as you wish from customizing battery icon to it's system tray and everything without any third party software! I am creating manual themes that would be provided with the ROM. Me alone as a developer it takes pretty much time and resources to build them eg I had my phone hard bricked just for trying my first bootanimation I made and I lost all my data in case of recovering it and it costed a lot of money too as Sony Service Center had to repair it. Please consider a small donation to me as it would help me to get my resources as I try every project before I release and ensure that you don't feel any bugs and it will also encourage me to develop more projects for future. If you have problem in donating then wait for sometime as my PayPal doesn't opens for all but do try at a later time. Thanks in advance

share update binary for me
I can't find the META-INF folder, can you tell me the proper location?
Was about to port an xbox boot animation and wham you beat me to it. Amazing work but the only problem I see with the boot animation is that xperia sp image. The font just doesnt suit the xperia sp design. Change the typography and ill be using this everyday
---------- Post added at 06:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:10 PM ----------
Btw you should add the instruction to change the downloaded zip to bootanimation.zip and chnage its permissions
That Xperia SP screen is original.
And it's flashable zip so need to set permission or anything

How can I create the proper folder names for each app? Android creates special names, like "com.buak.Link2SD-1" to add other data. When app updates, it automatically creates a folder and the name of the apk turns to "base.apk".
Thanks!

Update-binary is not a .zip. It is extensionless.
Thanks. How should i import it then? The beta only recognizes zip files.
About V3.0, I can't use it, Compared to the second edition,I think v2 is easy to use, suggest to make a tutorial.
