After the 3.04 update, the updated patches started appearing within a couple of days of the update. Now a week or more after the 3.05 update, still none. This is not a shot at the volunteers doing the updating, just wondering if my feed was working correctly. I see other apps everyday in Preware, just no patches other than Govnah.
Just looking for confirmation that I'm not missing anything.
Sorry for a boring post on WebOS...

You can add the 3.04 feeds back in as the patches work on 3.05.
Thanks psp888. I'll look up how to do that again. It's been a while.
the 3.05 feed is now live but the selection of patches is a bit limited.

I've been using the Facebook App from Microsoft Marketplace for a long while now, we're talking a good 8 months or so.
A couple of weeks ago it just stopped working. It will open but it won't refresh any statuses or anything.
I have flashed my phone with the newest NRG Rom but it still doesn't update. To update it, I literally need to log out and then back in to Facebook.
Any advise, ideas or suggestions.....
Exactly the same problem here! Anybody a clue?
This problem / situation is bean mentioned several times now.
This problem is caused on some updates that Facebook have been done, and it caused problems on our device.
Solution: ???? waiting to it will be fixed we have seen simulative problem in the past with tweeter
Suggestion; us the the internet page. www. Facebook.com
Thread moved to Q&A.
I know that there was a problem with Twitter, but that's all sorted now.
Fingers crossed Facebook will pull their fingers out and get it sorted.
The strange thing is that if you log out and then log back in, it works again. But every time you load the application again, you have to log out and back in. Annoying but the closest thing to a solution.
Also what's the probability that it will get fixed with WP7S out so soon?
Its not looking too good.......
this problem is weeks old and hasnt even been mentioned in an official capacity afaik.....
Probably an MS conspiracy to have all the facebook junkies rushing to the store for a brand new wp7 handset.............

Oh that would be hilarious, for Facebook to update their site so WP7 is no longer compatible
New Facebook App available, but after update program doesn't start
It seems that the problem was fixed and a new version is available through Microsoft Marketplace. I've successfully installed it, but then it doesn't start. Error message just says "Facebook could not be started".
It installs not into \Windows, so there are still files from the old version (from the ROM) available. I suspect there is a conflict with these older files.
Any way to get this fixed?
Thanks
Holger
Hi there,
I would like to skip the latest update, coz' I don't see any real improvement there. How can I hide or disable the constant notifaction icon?
I am rooted, of course.
Love,
D.
Even if you don't see any benefit, there are often bug fixes and security fixes inn a new release. So I take the opposite view, if an official update does not break or remove some needed functionality I install the latest version.
Can't you download the update then just not install it? Would that get rid of the notification?
sent from the largest android phone/smallest android tablet-the phablet
Nope
Downloaded it last night, (to the phone, OTA), but did not install it. Went to bed, got up the next morning and the notification was still there.
Yeah, you are probably right. Took the plunge yesterday and it took me the whole day to reinstall the apps and settings. First thing I did afterwards: Got Titanium Backup ;-)
Btw: GingerBreak works like a charm
I keep getting the pop-up notification from Device Management about the update for my SGS2. Currently, I'm running stock with the launch version (I777UCKH7), rooted with my own tweaks. I'd rather not bother with an incremental update and just keep things the way they are for now (if it ain't broke, don't fix it) until ICS comes along...
Can I disable the check/notification? It's getting really annoying to have to hit it several times per day.
I know this isn't the answer you are looking for, and maybe someone knows how to do that exactly...
I would say go for the update... I don't believe anyone has had any problems with it. Me personally: I tried to update but it gave an error and wouldn't install, and now I don't get the notification anymore even though I didn't "really" update. My S2 is rooted with most junk removed via Titanium Backup, but stock rom and modem.
I totally forgot to come back with an update. I followed your advice and accepted the next time it asked if I wanted to update. It began, then said that I was already up to date. Hasn't bothered me again since then. Odd.
Hi guys,
I've been a member for ages, but this is my first post - thanks for all the help you've inadvertently given me over the last year or so!
I'm a bit of a Cyanogenmod groupie - I almost always install the latest nightly builds on my I9300, several times a week at least. Apart from the odd camera glitch here and there, I've never had any serious issues, and I absolutely love it - so much nicer, cleaner and more responsive than stock.
But the last 4 or 5 days, when I've updated to the latest nightly release, I get loads of SuperUser errors, and Tasker seems to have completely vanished, along with the few widgets I have created to go with it. All that is left are Android icons, with a toast error saying "not installed" when I try it.
I also can't seem to get onto the internet, either via 3g or wi-fi, but I think that is a local problem with my router...
I would re-download Tasker and reinstall it, but why should it vanish in the first place? And when I try and restore it from my Titanium backup, it just takes forever and never finishes - this makes me think the new nightlies are not compatible with the current release of Tasker (or the other way around - d'uh)...
I hope I'm wrong, and just doing something stupid. 'cos I use Tasker a lot and this is stopping me from updating CM.
Any advice appreciated!
Cheers guys,
J

Flash the most updated version of 4.3 gapps. The error is "missing some libraries" or something to that extent.

You're a star - it worked like a charm! The only thing that seemed to still be affected was the shortcut to my phone app, which I just deleted and re-dragged to my home screen.
Thanks so much for your help :good:
I have the notification to update [Test] M1D65H to M1D65N this morning and don't see mention here. I am holding off installing it for the moment. Anyone know anything about it?
I've tried to take a screenshot to show it but that's been coming up black...
I have the same update, but the [Test] part seems a bit scary since it's out of warranty.
Have you already updated it?

I have also received this notification on my watch. I'm a little wary of the '[Test]' part too - don't recall seeing this on previous updates.
I think I'll probably delay the update until we get some more information.
I had the same this morning. Just did the update. After Wear rebuilt the cache I went to Settings and now this is the version:
Wear 1.5.0.3853039
Android OS 6.0.1
Security level April 1, 2017
So it just looked like a monthly security update I think
I had exactly the same message this morning and it is still sitting on my watch for actioning....the [TEST] made me aphrensive
Thanks farris for being the guinea pig. based on this I shall go ahead and update from 1st Feb security level release to this 1st April release.

Thanks! I'll install it as well. Lets see what will happen
edit:
It's still working!
Wish it was Android 2.0...
I had the same Test labeled Update today popping Up, just Hit Install. Worked.
Good to See updates, had hoped for android2 too
Thanks for the feedback everyone. After posting that, I had a busy day and never got to revisit the matter. I may wait a little longer.
Any improvements? My watch can get unusably sluggish at times. Removing unnecessary apps and factory resetting did nothing.
Is the option " change watchface" under settings new? I don't remember this one
I haven't updated and have change watch face, second setting option below adjust brightness.
april security update
I have just updated my G Watch and everything seems to work fine (just like it did before).
A question for those on the latest (end of March) Android Wear app: did you experience occasional notifications sync problems (especially when replying from the watch) and (above all) frequent force closes of the Android Wear app (on the phone)? If yes, has this update fixed those problems?
I am asking because due to those annoying problems I went back to the Android Wear app version from February so I would like to avoid updating and going back to the latest Android Wear app (the most recent one is still the troublesome one from the end of March) only to see again the same problems and having to go again through the downgrade process (uninstall Android Wear, install the version from February, re-set everything up).

After a few months, I finally noticed what the [TEST] tag were for. It was released on April fools day(april 1st), carry the code M1D65N, "N" as in nougat, or android wear 2.0. Read it as, [TEST] Nougat build. Someone tried to make an april fools prank and it didn't work.. ROFL.
The first letter signifies the Android version, not the last...
