[MOD]Statusbar Widget / Notification Toggle Mod SE Style! [283][42][58][62] - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

THIS MODE WAS ORIGINALLY MADE BY RABLEX AND YOU CAN THANK HIM FOR THE GOOD WORK
So guys... Today I found some very good-looking SE style notification toggles which I want to share with you. They were originally made for Arc but they also work on Neo and probably Neo V.
Here is how they look like:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
Requirements:
- Rooted 4.0.1.A.0.283, 4.0.2.A.0.42, 4.0.2.A.0.58 or 4.0.2.A.0.62 ROM
- RootExplorer or analogue
I recommend you using Ultra or Ultra Transparent toggle, because you can have up to 12 widget buttons (reboot, shutdown, airplane mode, bluetooth, brightness, gps, lockscreen on/off, mobiledata, orientation, sound, sync, wifi) from which you can pick up how many you want and change their order however you want by installing QuickPannel Settings an app that comes in same .zip file with SystemUI.apk.
Installation:
1. Backup original SystemUI.apk from system/app/ folder.
2. Copy SystemUI.apk from zip archive to system/ folder.
3. Set permissions as other system files have (rw-r--r--) (long press the file and select "permissions").
4. Move SystemUI.apk from system/ folder to system/app/ folder with replacing original one.
5. Reboot.
6. If you use Ultra theme install (as ordinary app) QuickPanelSettings.apk for widget options.
Here are download links for Ultra, or UltraTrans.
The other links and a lot more you can find here.
Don't forget to thank rablex!
You can thank me if I helped you finding the right notification toggle / statusbar widget. Cheers!

Force Close - doesn't work

I use Ultra theme for long time on 42 & 62 FW and have no problems. For me it is the best mod.

I think its the best MOD too! previously used this MOD, but it just doesn't fit with SE's stock ROM design...

I have rooted 62 locked bl with cwm, so i must flash the zipfile through cwm and do you have a zipfile?
This is only a lil question mate

Working on rooted V .62 with no problems, just extracted the systemui.apk from the zip and replaced the internal one using root explorer (after making backup the original)

How to avoid boot loop must read .....
>>>> I received so many comments that people try these mods to other xperia phone and have a boot loop.
First i want to tell you these mods are based on Arc Framwork-res apk and fully worked in Arc with no boot loop
but if some body wants to try these on their Phone then here is the method to avoid boot loop.
Before try these mods first copy your original framwork res apk, android.policy.jar & framework.jar from system/framwork folder and paste into PC
now download the zip file from here and replace the all three files that is inside this zip file with your original three files
now put this zip file into SD card now put your phone into CWM recovery
and flash this zip file from SD card through recovery and reboot your phone.
By using this method you can avoid to flash a whole Rom again if you are in boot loop because of framwork-res apk
you can also flash a custom kernel to put your phone into recovery
Zip file is attached in the end of this post with the name " framework-res recovery.zip "
The three files that are in zip file are the original Arc 42 firmware files
so if some one go back to original arc framwork-res they can also flash this zip

Note:
The installation process is same for all files either it is system uI.apk or framwork-res.apk or the jar files
the method is describe below
How to install........
1. just download one of my mod
2. you will find framwork-res.apk file inside the RAR archive if you download without reboot option
if you are going to download with reboot option you will find two more files in it
3. extract RAR folder into you computer
4. put the apk file to your SD card
Before you copy my file into system, first copy and make a backup of your original files which you are going to replace
5. now copy my files from SD card to system
6. here first set the permissions to ( RW-R-R ) for all kind of files either it is apk file or jar file
7. like in this picture
8. Now move the file framwork-res.apk from system to framwork-res folder.
If you chose with reboot option mod then move both the jar files also in framwork-res folder, after set the permissions RW-R-R
if you are going to change system ui.apk then after setting permissions move it from system to apps folder
you will find system ui.apk file if you are going to download widgets notification bar Mod

1 - can i use those battery with this mod [MOD] Reboot Options in Power Menu [4.0.1.A.0.283] and what i need to do cause
Note: By replacing framework-res.apk you will remove any previously installed themes. And if you install another mod (framework-res.apk) you will need to copy back your stock android.policy.jar and framework.jar.

Installation files (v2 with brygse correction; thanx!):
http://www11.zippyshare.com/v/81347114/file.html
Install instructions:
put SemcClock.apk, Settings.apk, SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk to /system folder and change permission to 644 (rw-r--r--) on all of them. Then move SemcClock.apk, Settings.apk and SystemUI.apk to /system/app folder and framework-res.apk to /system/framework folder. Once you have finished reboot the phone and enjoy in theme
Do you hate that we cant change alarm ringtone? Yes, don't worry! I change the default alarm ringtone directly in SemcClock.apk file together with stock blurred wallpapers
Note: it works for locked and unlocked bootloader devices. You only need to have ROOT access!
A lot of icons are borrowed from other ROM-s so full credit for them goes to their makers!
Nice work! Thanks!

But there is a small note: the player control buttons on the lock screen.
Take these files, and paste into your framework-res.apk as is. It will be like here.
White Magic?!
Excuse me, but why do you speak about white magic, your theme almost as much dark as stock. To fully use WM it must be as much light as possible.

put SemcClock.apk, Settings.apk, SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk to /system folder and change permission to 644 (rw-r--r--) on all of them.

Thanks for the awesome theme. :good:
Were can find your Weather Widget? It's verry nice
Thanks again !
Nice work. I'll try tommorrow on my Xperia P.
2 questions
1. Is in toggle bar a button for 2G/3G network mode? Is very usefull for me.
2. Can you do this patch to be flashable? From CWM (recovery mode). It's better to do like that because in case that something is not work is easy to go back if you post a stock patch too. I done in past on other xperia trought root explorer and after I finished to move the files in the specified folder, in case of something is wrong I'm stuck in FC loops and can't restore the old files to fix the problem.
Pls tell me which theme s that is shown in the screenshots??

This mod includes framework-res.apk which replace with your default Cm10.1 framework-res.apk
This mod includes framework-res.apk(With Sony logo), & framework-res.apk(With Sony Xperia™ logo)
Below i am giving Mod Zip(not flashable zip) which includes 2 framework-res.apk(With Sony logo & Sony Xperia™ logo) which you have to replace those with your current framework-res.apk(choose which one you like) using Root Explorer.
Download Link- http://d-h.st/UfP
Installation Process:
1) Download Zip
2) Extract it which includes framework-res.apk(With Sony logo & Sony Xperia™ logo) 2 folder's.
3) Copy framework-res.apk(Which one you like) using Root Explorer to system/paste here first
4) Then press on framework-res.apk for 2 sec. then menu will popup
5) press on permissions. then you will see permissions RW,RW,RW
6) Now change permissions to RW, R, R & press ok
7) Now move that framework-res.apk to system/framework/paste here & replace it with your current framework-res.apk
8) Now phone will freeze This is ok. It will be frozen for roughly 1 - 1½ minutes, then it will restart and if phone will not freeze then exit the Root Explorer & restart your phone :good:
9) Voilaa now you got your fav. Lock Screen
Press Thank if you like my Work
Reserved for me

The 8th instruction
Phone will freeze for about 1-1.5 mins.
If permissions are not set before,it will bootloop then as system has no framework-res.apk as by default the permissions are inappropriate
You can just give 9th option as when phone bootloops you can go to recovery and fix permissions. that will boot the system...
Best solution is to give a flashable zip to be more precise for noobs .
Thanks
P.S. I got the instructions bt just include "fix permissions" so that no need to things twice like moving to system giving permissions and then again moving to system>framework
BTW very nice work
Thanks Vatsal but i dont know how to make Flashable Zip as u know i am not pro dev. im just beginner

Get meta-inf from any system ui or any framework mod and make a folder system and create a folder named framework inside system folder and place framework-res.apk and copy those 2 folders into a single folder and zip it using 7zip or winrar.. Done!
I could do that easily for you but we learn when we try.. Still if it doesnt work. pm me ill make flashable zips for you..
Also you can have a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721680

Nice...
Just I'd just give you a more better way of putting that...line
Just remove the first line as it feels childish....Xda follows open sharing policy.. And actual developers don't really follow such policy of asking permissions.. Take Fxp for eg..So why put a restriction on it.the more the people use it, the more your work gets recognized...Imo, if the other person is crediting you, there's no harm done..
Good luck..just my 2 cents..

No wrong.. Not R/ W permission.. Its must b R/O permission.. And if u can't find the apk in that mentioned path means just paste it with permission and reboot
Change the R/W permission to R/O permission.. Then only u can paste file in there
I'm guessing this is for C5302 and not C5303 as LTE option disappeared when i tried just the SemcPhone.apk file.

It's for both all models C5302/03/06, Though, you can download the file from attachments and replace in > Vendor > Overlay with rw-r-r permissions with this you wont loose anything.
Thanks; i had a feeling i messed something up. Will try again.
BTW, when it says:
- Remove SemcPhone.odex from system/app
- Move SemcPhone.apk to system and set permission.
in the second row is that meant to say system/app or is it intentionally one directory up in system?

Move to system set permission and then move to system/vendor/overlay and reboot

Pls correct the OP. Its absolutely wrong.. Not Semcphone.apk. Its com.android.res.apk.. And also its needed to move to System/vendor /overlay.. U did not told that in OP
