Hello, i am new to the whole modding thing, and i just wanted to know if there are any 2.2 or 2.3 roms that keep the default apps like timescape and others. I really love Sony's interface, but i hate the fact that it's running android 2.1. It would be very appreciated if somebody could give me a good recommendation.
You can try Wolfbreak's CM6.1.3 ROM. Its fast and stable. It does not have timescape by default, but he has provided a flashable zip of it for those who wanted timescape.
You can find its details here:

Thank you I have looked around, and I think I'll stick with the default launcher until the Arc roms is finished.
any x10 stable rom? please provide me a link, thanks =)
erm, another question is, can xperia x10 Run Android 3.0? heard from my friend, somebody told him x10 can run android 3.0,but 3.0 not for tablet pc ,isn't?
There are a lot of stable roms but (In my opinion) Wolfbreak's rom is probably the most smooth and stable

Also answer to your other question is, there is a 3.0 honeycomb ROM being developed by 'Chumby_666' its in Pre-Alfa stage though.

I use Wolfbreak's CM 6.1.3 too. I've never had a problem with it. It's extremely stable
Wolfbreak's rom is the real thing, so stable it feel like its been always there
Sent from my X10i using a custom rom with XDA App
Hello community, this is my first post. I'm no complete noob. I 'm coming from the symbian s60v5 modding community. Now I own an xperia mini and would like to know if the cyanogen mod is stable and recommendable for it.
Btw: Is German supported by the cyanogen mod?
yesterday I test Cynogenmod 7 (CM7) and install it on Xperia Mini Pro but I got some problem such as:
> touchscreen not working
> bootloop (yes, I already clear the cache / data / system in CWF but still-)
so I will say 'no' because its still unstable
most of cyanogenmods have bugs. i have used it in my x10 mini pro. i'd no recomment it because xperia mini have 1ghz processor + 512 mb ram which run hvga screen. you dont need to overclock it. + androjd version is latest. so better stick with stock rom
Thank you. Maybe the Cyanogen 9 will be better. What about the FXP - Project? Any experiences with that? What mod are you using? Or do you use stock rom?
i m using stock and pretty satisfied with it.
FXP is also based on cyanogenmod.
We still have 3 newer firmwares from Sony (4.0.2.A.0.58 , .61 , .62 that not have yet been released worldwide. And in 3 months official Android 4 is coming. Why bother with unofficial ones? What are the benefits ?
On older X10 mini was logical because Sony didn't upgrade past android 2.1.

agreed
and also sony ericssons stock rom is best looking rom in my opinion
Maybe you are right. Sounds all pretty logic. Is it possible to OC the CPU? Is it dangerous?
(I think I need to mod something. I 'm addicted to that. Even Symbian was crap, I could do a lot of modding with it. It was easy and it was fun. I 'm unsure if I would be able to sit on stock and wait for ICS)
What about languages and keyboard that has always been a big problem in symbian modding. How is that here?

yes you can overclock but only in custom rom. thats not dangerous if you know the limits . but right now people are experiencing some problems with custom kernels like screen doesn't responds after flashing a custom kernel. so you better skip it for now.
dont know about what do you meant by keyboard and languages but that's never been a problem to me.
So there are plenty of great ROMS out there that are ICS optimized with this and that but they are always themed a way or another. I'm searching for a full Sony Ericsson stock look (yes, that includes the notification bar !).
I'm a stock guy and I don't care if it's HTC, Motorola, Miui or CyanogenMod, I always use the roms with their stock look when I can. In fact, I always thought that devs should always release their Roms with a stock look and make the themes an extra (through zip or aroma option). You know what they say about tastes...
So is there a rom out there for the Mini Pro based on an official Sony release with a stock look ?
Thanks !
this might be what you are looking for.

Looks nice but the accelerometer is not working in there...
Is there a way to flash the Xperia framework on some of the themed roms ?

Yes! The official sony minipro stock rom! :thumbup
Hey mates.
I was wondering, how can i port a rom "for example: xperiabread ultra v7.0" to work with Stock kernel?.
If i use let's say "minicm7 pro v21" as base, and only change the apk's from the apk's folder " from xperiabread apk's to the base minicm7 pro v21 rom" will it work? or is there something missing?. I can't use naa-14 kernel because my phone once in a while shut down or loose signal :S.
Please people i really need answers on this one, because i can't afford a new phone right now "just to run android 2.3 with no bugs" :S , i really like Gingerbread because it's more practical to use than Eclair in everything.
