Is this forum for Tmobile Optimus T ??
Doubt there is much differences in the phone but probobly enough I wouldn't recommend trying any of the roms, recoveries, etc on your T since this forum is for the One, P500 and V. There's not a Optimus T forum here but there is one here:

Roms for P500 will work on our P509 (trust me I've already done this to my Optimus T). Just make sure when you flash a rom it is OLD BASEBAND SUPPORTED.
Identical chipset. The difference in radio module and, maybe, baseband software. P500 supports 900 MHz UMTS, T - 1700 MHz.

What happens when you update to the new baseband in the Optimus T?
I put the new baseband on my optimus t and everything works except 2g/3g I.guess it's some apn issue on cm7 nightly
It's all the same, Optimus T, S, V are all the same phone. Only difference, is some are CDMA and some are GSM. But the phone supports both so there isnt an issue.

Depends. For some it works 100%.
Some folks have a data/APN problem. For those of us with the problem here's the workaround using old baseband.

This might confuse some people.... So just to clarify
Optimus One and Optimus T are essentially the same phone.
Whatever ROM's & Kernels that work for Optimus One will work with Optimus T.
Optimus V & S CANNOT use Optimus One ROM's

Yeah I heard you can use Optimus S roms, even. But you would have to remap the buttons since the Home and Menu buttons are switched between the two versions.
Other than that, I do recommend using mmmark111's RodimusROM. Been working fine for me.
i've got a question: whats the difference between Optimus One and Optimus V? can V's roms work on One and vice versa? thanks =)
Optimus one is factory unlocked and the real model made by LG. Optimus V is identical to it but is not optimus one.
ROM's made for optimus one are known to work with Optimus T. Optimus V ROMS will not work on optimus one and vice-versa.

Optimus V is from Virgin Mobile (USA), so since you are singaporean no need to care about it

Is it possible to port a rom for Optimus one to an Optimus V? If so what would have to be changed, I realize the kernel most likely will, but what else?
Theoretically, no.
People port ROMs from one phone to another all the time, so yes, you can. The Optimus V is a Optimus One phone anyways. There are some differences, but its not like a GSII to Optimus V, which I think can not be done.

My guess is no. Optimus V uses different signals then the rest of the Optimus One line, if it didn't we would have an Optimus S without the bloatware.

Its probably because O1 is used more and is more famous. That's why we have more devs for O1.......
However, the ROMs from O1 can be easily ported to V, as they are almost same. Request any dev from your forum to port ICS ROMs on your device...............That may help....

So all I would have to do is just link a thread that has the ics rom and put it in the optimus v section and ask if they can port it to the optimus v and they will possibly do it?

There is, but the devs that are at work aren't public with it. They only released the early Alpha build.
are there any roms for the LG optimus zone? i've done a search on google, xda, and allthingsroot with no success. Can you use any of the LG optimus l series roms? I know the answer to the second question is most likely no because the optimus zone is CDMA and the l series are GSM but I can dream.

They have CM9 for the Optimus L3, and it would ba\e AWESOM if someone could port it to our device. It's basically the EXACT same hardware :laugh:
