Hello there -
I've tried all of SCOTT'SROMS; OMJ; MikRunny; along with Team Noc's Bravia variants, and, the few versions of ICS that I've tested since Neco are coming along, though, missing many key components. My current kernel is the E3D Tiamat, v 1.10. I've visited many different fora, and I'm starting to get a bad case of vertigo. ;-€......
I'm currently running the Xplode XE (odexed version - very smooth) ROM... any suggestions from this esteemed panel would be gratefully appreciated ;D. Thanks.

Having a hard time seeing the question here. Anybody else?
If you're asking for another rom to try, go with warm 2.3.

I'm sorry if you think that I was rambling... the last two sentences were 'the closer', in my missive to anyone here... just trying to make nice conversation; I'm a 50 (well, nearly 50 - I'll turn 50, in a couple of months) year old disabled guy, and though you're a Senior Member - does that give you the right to be rude to me, in this forum? If it was the attachments, then, I'll refrain from using those - while I'm trying to be nice to others, and ask questions. Otherwise, you might want to change your tone.

Thank you for your suggestion. Apparently, there is some decency in this forum.

I have an idea for the first question. How to back up everything on your phone to your pc. From what you will need on your pc to what apps needed on phone. Be nice to have this info incase something goes wrong during flashing. People would benefit if titanium failed to back it up. This happened to me flashing to obsidian 4.2 from bionix final.

If someone has a question, then they can ask here.. They don't need to go through something extra to do it. If you are talking about making a stick of Q&A's well, I don't think people would really even look at that.

Far be it from me to disagree with master, but I think its a good idea. Could be a good place to send rookies when they have a question. And also I have asked a few questions here and they were never answered...
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Plus I lot of the people who are capable of answering questions dont spend alot of time here. And when you ask a question in, say a new rom thread it gets lost in the shuffle over there!

I agree. Lets be democratic about it. May I suggest changing the thread title to something other then discontinued.

Has anyone seen the work here on the DInc. They have achieved a way of having multiple custom roms loaded at the same time ( thanks to EMMC ) and hot swappable(is that a word?) like switching launchers almost... Can one of you, way smarter than me devs attempt to re-create this for the 3VO.... Please!!!!!

Updated OP with pics for reference
That would be sweet. It was either here or on the OG Evo forum they were talking about it. I sure hope its this one
:fingers crossed:
Theres a program in the market called boot manager that does the same thing. I sent a device support request for the 3d. Hopefully they will support our device soon. I can fight paying 3 bucks for a multi Rom situation without the wiping and backing up.
Ohhh I need something like that so badly!!! Then I need some kick ass roms too!
Right now I need something, anything to flash, I've been going through withdrawals for a month, and I finally got a taste of that sweet bootloader crack! But I need MMOOOAAARRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The author of Boot Manager is conap. He is also the OP in the DualRom thread mentioned in OP of the thread we are reading. Conap suggests using his app. More information on pages 2 and 3 of his thread. I've been following it for a while. Hopefully he'll update his app so it works with the 3VO.

since i dont have the device with me, right now one of the devs, in this device section, is testing it... but we will be releasing it soon (in a day or two) for public testing... it is still in beta and we are open to suggestions for adding more features...
regards,
DooMLoRD
P.S.: kindly do not fill this thread up with questions on "when will this be released" and "thank you" posts, else i will have to close the thread till we release it...

Welcome to SGS2 forum mate and good luck with you touch recovery! Look nice!
If you don't want anybody to comment, why you opened this thread in the first place. This is not a parking spot that you are reserving a place. Xda is not running out of space. Better close it now or start giving beta releases. Other wise this thread is baseless. Don't mean any disrespect. Cheers.

Talk about attitude and complete ignorance. You sir did "exactly" what you claimed you did not mean in your little disclaimer in the end -> disrespect !
Have you got something to share ? a little project that your have spent countless hours for the benefit of others without asking anything in return ?
The op reserved the space to share useful information once it becomes available so it does not get buried in hundreds of pages later on, common sense really.
@op , would be real nice mate as i have seen sommat similar on htc sensation, good luck and thanks.
Ok, better close it now since drama is only at the begining.
Btw, the recovery works fine. It need only some other test for the release, Doomloard made a great job, i'll let him know if it works all fine and maybe he will release a beta for tomorrow.
Beta Testing Complete....
MOD EDIT:: At globatron's request, there is to be no posting in this thread unless you are directly responding to either fuses or globatron, prior to the official release. This is a development thread, not a lounge.

And yours my friend is a pointless reply.
If you don't want to help or cannot help him, it is wiser to remain silent. If the thread is useless, then it's better to let it to fade into oblivion unanswered.
@OP: From what I gather it looks the same as the SGS2 ICS stock which you can see here:
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_ii_ics_vs_gingerbread-review-737.php
With the following changes:
RockRatt's blue battery w/% mod
yoderk's 14 Toggle mod
Extended power menu
Best regards.

If you read and look at my previous post carefully, you will notice that I addressed the OP's concerns and posted a guideline where he could go and look at the screenshots himself. I do not consider OPs thread as useless and would rather not become a judge/mini-mod on an internet forum. :highfive:
Also by replying you are bringing this thread to the top, which unfortunately defeats the purpose of making an useless -again, not my opinion- thread dissappear.
As to make my current reply useful, here are some screenshots of stock ICS from ATT for the OP. I hope this solves his doubts and he has a wonderful evening.
Same to you my friend.
