Im searching for a case for the asus transformer prime
where both tablet and keyboard kan fit in.
so i can put them in my bag and keep them scratch free
any suggestions?
i cant realy tell which cases are good...

I am looking for something that is a hard case that wraps around the tablet and keyboard while closed. The zippered case doesn't protect it while it is in use.

depends on what you guys are looking for I guess. I have the black version of this and it is a really excellent case if you are looking for something that works with your dock. It also provides good protection.

I ordered this one as well. Hoping that it and the tablet both arrive on the 5th.
This my Targas case I bought from best buy yesterday for $19.99. Really good quality and nice padding inside to protect my prime and keep it scratch free. This will do until I find a real case that fits around the prime itself. This is more like a travel case but it'll do for now. I posted pix of the inside of it also so you can see the padding.

Got this from five below. It is a network case the the prime fits in perfectly. The 2 Styrofoam pieces aren't supposed to be there. I left the original one and took another one and I puts the prime between the 2 pieces. Works well

I just ordered this Poetic Case - I prefer a case that doesn't cover the front bezel. Plus it bends in such a way that I can still use it with the dock. I'll probably pick up a cheap sleeve for the dock.

I also ordered Poetic(TM) StandBook Stand Leather Case with Angle Adjustable for Asus Eee Pad Prime TF201 Black. My order says estimated delivery Jan 17-20. Maybe they don't really have them in stock.
I noticed that it says "Processing takes an additional 4 to 5 days" on the Poetic Case page.
I placed my order on the first. It doesn't show as shipped yet, but my delivery estimate says January 11-13.

wow, no ones getting that giant case with the extra removable piece for the keyboard I was wondering if it was worth it or not

i went out and bought a 10.2 netbook case from HP @ BB for $15
works well enough, but not quite what i really want though, this is to just save me until some manufactures get off their butts and produce something for us....

Are you talking about the shell or jacket type that many phones snap in to or a case that the tablet is placed in during transport? I haven't seen any on the first kind but have come across a sweet storage case that has a hard shell.
I am interested in one myself, that or a silicone gel skin. I just want to maintain thin and light without adding bulk.
I'm waiting for a sweet TPU case, that would be amazing!
One for operation. Something that it will stay in 24/7. There is one that Zag makes for the galaxy tab 10. I dropped my TP the other day and almost cried lol.
I found lots of leather cases but no hard cases. I am going to get learner until I can find a good hard case. (or maybe make one...lol)

Hey, I plan on getting the new transformer prime soon when I have the time to find it in stock. The question is, how am I going to protect this badboy? I dont care about the leather case that makes the tablet look elegant, I want a good case that stays on the tablet at all times while making it usable (sleeves don't make it into this category). I want it to be like this so there is no fear of dropping the tablet and watch this beauty be destroyed. Ideally, I want this case to be for the tablet, but if there's one that fits the keyboard too, that would be awesome!!
Nothing yet. Tab is still very new. Hoping for a gumdrop or otter box type case.

Interesting. how do these look once applied? I can see them looking kinda sloppy and cheesy, but i could be wrong. Anyone get their hands on one yet?
I have this case for my Galaxy 10.1 and I want something similar for my Prime, but I cant find it. Maybe I'm using the wrong search words I don't know but if anyone knows where I can find one please post a link. This case has been great I have a dock but don't use it as much as I thought I would, I just need something simple like this, it feels real nice to hold also, its been one of the best purchases I've ever made. I want the case to cover everything but the slots no corners left open, everything covered except plug holes, the type that has the rubberized gel silicone type feel to it. It's not been discontinued. It's still in production.

Great choice. That's the case I have and I've been very pleased with its quality, light weight, and snug fit. I also like that it is completely cut out around the speaker (identical competitor cases from Poetic, Mako, and others are not). You can also charge it while it's in the case and closed! Trust me, you'll be very happy with your choice.
