Dual boot different ROMS on nexus s? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any app like boot manager that can do so? As far as I know, boot manager supports nexus one, but not Nexus S.

That would be just awesome! I'll follow this thread

Boot manager doesn't work on nexus s. I haven't tried it though. It's just what I've heard. Then there's this app 'switchme'. But that just let's you boot into different profiles of the same ROM. Kind of like having a guest and a main account for Windows.

Boot Manager is going to add support for ICS on Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus

The galaxy nexus update came out but I still don't see nexus s supported.

Would the old nexus 7 ROM work on the new nexus 7??

Just wondering if it would work on the new one and if not, why not make one?

Click to collapse
Probably not the new nexus uses snapdragon whereas the old one uses tegra so it probably wouldn't.

Nope, coz both have different internals / hardware

Android apps will have no problems even on slower Chromebooks
