I have a problem where the SD card reader on the dock doesn't allow me to transfer any file to the tablet. Reading file off it is fine. Is this a known issue?

When I connect my GTab to my Win7-64 over usb, I can access the main internal sdcard memory but I cannot get to the removeable SD card.
Currently I transfer my movie files to the internal sdcard and then use a filemanager to copy them to the external sd card.
I am on TNT-Lite 4.4.0. Is this how it is supposed to work?

I got my Dell Streak second hand but the 16Gb card that came with it wasn't working. Not that the seller had mentioned it.
So, I've actually bought 2 16GB micro SD cards and both have had the same problem. The device recognises it upon first installation but when writing further data upon it, e.g. connecting it via USB or taking the micro SD card out and using an SD adapter, the files become corrupted. It doesn't matter what type of file it is, it all gets corruped and it says that the SD is damaged when the phone is trying to mount the SD card again.
This is the 3rd time it has happened so it's no coincidence.
My 4gb that I had in my previous XDA Orbit has been working fine ever since I got my Streak with no problems whatsoever.
Am I missing a driver for 16gb+ SD Cards?
EDIT- Just had a thought. I was transferring all my stuff from my previous card that was in my Streak to the new one, could this have caused any problems? I assumed you could transfer all SD data from one card to another and still have all the apps and data working?
EDIT x2- Had another thought! It seems like when things get put onto the root of the SD card, it causes corruption but when it gets put into a folder, it seems okay. Now this isn't a problem when the device writes things to the SD card- they get put into the appropriate folders, however I have never had this problem with the aforementioned 4gb card and always write pictures and movies onto the root of the SD card to view without any problems.
I was transferring files from a micro SD card in my laptop to the 32 GB SD card in my phone. All the files tranferred over just fine, but now the card reader in my phone doesn't work at all. I tried resetting the phone already. Does anyone know what happened and can it be fixed?

Alright, I have a Macbook Pro running OSX 10.7 and a Galaxy S4 with a new microSD card. I was able to initially insert the microSD card into the adapter, slide it into my Macbook Pro and transfer all of my desired music files. Put the card in my phone and it located the files no problem. Well I went today to add new files using both AFT and the SD card adapter but not files are able to be transferred to the card. AFT has no problem storing files on the internal memory so I'm guessing it's a problem with my SD card. Any ideas on what to do?
I've Googled a bit and was told to format my SD card and that should make it recognizable by my Macbook Pro again, but if I were to do this would this problem arise again once I insert the card back into my S4?
Can anyone help me? My SD Card is no longer showing on my Defy running CM10.
Some of my Apps like Viewranger stored on the SD Card no longer open or run.
When connecting to PC a drive F does show up but I am unable to access it.
Unfortunately I am not able to remove this micro SD Card from my phone and put in an external USB reader to attach to my PC that way because I con't have an adapter to put this tiny SD card in to connect to my card reader.
Any advice on what the issue is and how I can correct it would be greatly received.
