You're welcome. Are you trying to get high def on a HDTV or something. I have a 1080p Samsung monitor and would like to get that resolution.

I was trying to up the maximum resolution output to 1920x1080. In the dev forums theres a hack on how to do it. Go check it out. But be careful.

Display icon?

So I've been here for a while, and never bothered to ask, and I am not sure where to look. How do you put a display icon up? Lol. That may be the stupidest question on here, but I gotta ask. Thanks.
Display icon on what? I'm not sure what your asking. where?
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
The mario fellow you have. I wasn't quite sure how to phrase it. Does that make more sense now?
Um no. what are you trying to put a display icon on?
You mean avatar? Like the picture next to my display name?
I haven't been on XDA on my computer fire a long time but I believe you go to settings and some where in there, there should be a option for a avatar. Relatively simple I would assume.
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
Under your name, you have Mario. Perhaps display icon isn't the right word. But on your post, it shows your location/name/that photo/etc. Yes, the avatar. Ha. As I said, wasn't sure how to call it.
Look under settings on XDA from your computer. I just tried it from the XDA app and it don't work so the best very is to look under settings from your home PC.
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
Okay. gonna do that now. Thanks.
Found it, when signed in to XDA from you're PC, click your name then user cp, then edit profile picture.

It keeps failing. Not sure why. I'm within the size limits I believe.

Need some help.

Guys,
I haven't been over here in a while since getting my Inc2 but to keep the story short.
I am looking for a thread from a few months back. All it was about was setting the camera for better quality shots. (ISO, metering, etc). I don't have a computer so I can't search easily. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just use infinity focus. That's all.

Thanks exactly what I was looking for. Man am I glad to see development is still progressing in the x10. Close thread.

HD Netflix

The HD Netflix app from the Razr works on the Rezound. Just thought I would put that out there. It is cleaner than the one pulled from the Android Market or Amazon. Version differences prove HD vs SD, 1.5 vs 1.6 on the build versions. No errors or any other issues.
Edit: My apologies. Was in a hurry earlier and thought I put this up. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394637 is the correct thread. They janked it for the Nexus and I was curious.
So you tell us this and then dont post the apk?

I don't see a difference. Supposedly a portion of the screen is suppose to be cut off but mine is full screen. Video doesn't look hd either.

Yeah, mine goes full screen unlike that post, but I think the picture might be better. It's just a slight difference, though.
We won't get true HD on Netflix until the snapdragon has the proper security certificate like the omap does.
Yep

I think the difference is only 360p to 720p. No full support at this time, but the reason the screen is shrunk is because the screen size is different. Resolutions for 1080 or 720 shrinks on the larger display. The video is only slightly different, but I did notice slightly better clarity. Could just be that I watch anime mostly and not too many real movies or episodes. Similar to what pulls up on my ps3 though. just about 46 inches smaller on the phone.

Netflix looks like crap

Anyone know why videos on Netflix are all pixelated on the x2? Is there a fix?
Sent from my MB870 using XDA App
My guess is you have a connection problem of some sort. Are you using it on wireless or 3g? Mine is usually clear. Only time it gets pixelated is when my internet connection is acting up (having trouble with it at home right now). When the connection is working as it should, Netflix works great. If my connection starts going bonkers, the picture will pixelate for a few seconds and then clear up again as the signal gets better. Until my internet problems at home, I never had any problems with it. This reminds me. Have to call my ISP, again.
Tried on my wifi McDonald's wifi 3g. All Pixelated

Netflix looks good on mine. On 3G Nd wifi.
Sent from my MB870 using xda premium
Just tried on my home wifi. Looks just fine, although at the beginning it was pixelated. IIRC Netflix tried to use an algorithm to change its quality to best suit your connection speeds. As has been said previously, WIFI is recommended over 3G, but you might also want to look into some scripts (speedy comes to mind, but I haven't kept up with that compared to what comes with the latest roms tbh).
Dumped the x2, netflix looks 100x better.

Its most likely a network difference. The Thunderbolt has 4G, and the X2 has 3G. The reason you just downgraded is because the X2 is way faster than the Thunderbolt. The Tegra 2 processor is no joke.
Actually its a major upgrade. Even rooted with cm7 the thunderbolt is blowing the x2 out of the water

Mmhmm.... Where are you getting your information? What are you basing this on? Which device was running CM7?
Basing it off being able to fly through app after app, webpages being crystal clear, music not skipping or forcing closed. The x2 was running cm7. The locked bootloader sucked balls. I like changing kernels, radios, etc. Thunderbolt does everything I ask it to without hesitating
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
While I do agree that a locked bootloader is terrible (my previous device was unlocked), I have to say that your other evidence merely comes from OS tweaks, not speed. The Xperia play browser is smoother in scrolling than the X2s, but that doesn't mean that it is faster. A good way to see performance differences is to try heavy emulators like N64oid and FPSe with 0 frameskips and graphics smoothing on and you will see a significant difference in performance, especially with FPSe, which has dual core optimization.
When I put my cm7 x2 next to my RF stock TB yea the x2 wins in quadrant scores, but that means nothing when a game like fruit ninja lags on my phone but not hers. Or videos from SD card are pixelated but not on the tb

Have not read much in this thread but I was just wondering if anyone that is having problems with Netflix have you by chance tried using a lcd density changer to clear up the screen? I'm using LCD modder with the dpi set to 200 & Netflix looks pretty good....Hope it helps...

I just tried it, but it switched the way Netflix looked, it looked like it was for a tablet but search wasn't working. I liked the way my phone looked with 200dpi instead of 240 though, thanks for the tip!
