Hi all
I'm Vietnammese.i have Thunderbolt 4g,but now T-bolt no signal,because lost PRL.
please pepole help me,share for me file PRL or Rom ship 2.2(Froyo) to flash.thank so much
Woops, don't do that.
Thanks DroidTh3ory
That's pretty ****ed up of them, should have coded the phone so that it won't allow the remote programming if that's the impact, or are they just trying to **** over anyone with interest in modding their phone?
Thunderbolt updates its prl when you reboot.
Don't use *228 on a LTE phone. It can nuke your SIM. Just reflash the radio.

You cannot fix a bricked SIM with any type of software update. It has to be physically replaced by verizon. However, if you're looking for the stock radio/software anyway, they are posted and linked to all over the place on here. Again, your question has zero to do with development.

If you "lost" a prl then the rom isn't your problem. You need a new sim card.
Also, *228 is blocked on the thunderbolt preventing it from causing damage.

Now,I'm in VietNam and I don't have Sim LTE.how do I do?
Are you trying to get it to work with Verizon it's different carrier? That might be your issue.
There is one guy that got the thunderbolt working on metro pcs, look in the general forum for the thread. If youre trying to flash a different carriers PRL then I would all the guy that got it working for some advice.

Who can help me?May be backup you Rom?thank
Again, getting someone's backup of their rom will not help you get the prl. You either need to contact your carrier and attempt to have them set your phone up correctly or find some one in your area to do so. Since the bolt uses a sim card to program, and as far as i know is locked to Verizon's service I do not know if these are possible. Your best bet is to contact your carrier for help.
das BAMF1.7 rocking the bolt
If I were this guy, I would find someone that speaks Vietnamese and English better than he does to help him understand. That assumes he understands this statement as well, lol.
Thank all!I trying buy a Sim LTE to Verizon,I hope set my phone successful....
One of the roms I had on my Captivate had the Telenav GPS Navigator app included. Is there a way to install this app without flashing a new rom? I have rooted my AT&T SGS2 with the original rom.
(here) is the APK for the free telenav that was posted a while back.
Thanks nyydynasty, that's the one.
no problem
Hi:
If one uses the free Telenav .apk posted here, is there a fee for using the service?
Thanks!

no, the free version gives you spoken turn-by-turn directions and you can sync it with your telenav account online (ie. favorite address, etc...) but you lose the traffic updates and some other extra features unless you sign up for the $10/month fee.
Thanks Dynasty and Peaster for the info and for the .apk!
no prob. I use the free telenav and its flawless on the SGS2
after installing when telenav loads it asks for 10 digit phone number and after i put my phone number it doesn't go forward. unbale to by pass the phone number prompt- am i missing something ? i am not stock rom.
no, thats all you need to do to set it up. Try reinstalling it, maybe?
What does free Telenav offer that GMaps Navigation doesn't?
I find it more accurate...thats all.

GMaps doesn't work very well for me in offline mode. Don't want international data roaming charges or use up all the data on a prepaid sim in the first few seconds.
After seeing people ask for a decent voice guided navigation app, I pulled the Telenav APK from my backups to share. It was posted waaay back in the early Captivate days. It's a free and legit version for basic functionality, which is plenty for navigation. It works the same as the AT&T Navigator app included in the stock phone from AT&T, but this one doesn't want to charge you $10 just for trying out the free stuff. You can upgrade to additional features for $10/month through Telenav, but there really is no need. It works just fine in basic mode.
Enjoy - slap the thanks button if this helps
Thanks for the app. I'm going to give it a try tomorrow....
google
Is it better than google navigator?
Depends on what u consider better. Better graphics and voice. Same performance. Heavier use of battery though.

I use WAZE, and seem to be ranked as 195 in the state. BUT, I tired the navigation, it works ok, but too many loops.
I would be going down a street and all for no reason it says go in this subdivision and loop around and come back out. - of course I was smart enough to see that trick.
Still goona use WAZE because of the other users posting where the cops are hiding.

Thanks for this! I had a question. Has anybody tried to 'trick' Market so we are able to download this:
https://market.android.com/details?...sImNvbS50ZWxlbmF2LmFwcC5hbmRyb2lkLnNwcmludCJd
This is V7.1.1 (different from the one they call TeleNav GPS Navigator for TMO) and is available to Sprint users. This version has some 'nice' Widgets (equivalent to that of AT&T Telenav) that V6.2.6201121 doesn't have.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMiCL6hV85Q
I am wondering if this will still work on the AT&T network...and, we wouldn't have to pay a ridiculous monthly fee?
Any thoughts?

Awesome! Can you provide the steps on what you edited on the build.prop file or even better, can you upload the 7.1.1 apk? Its 'free' so it shouldn't be an issue. Thanks again!

That's weird, are you rooted? I haven't rooted my note yet. Try erasing your data that was created within the app, by going to applications, manage apps and click on telenav as if you were going to uninstall and click clear data and try opening again.

I am getting the same behavior as btothec as well. I am wondering how you were able to download in the first place godfirst? Normally, we (AT&T users) can't see this app in the AppStore as it is blocked...I found it via the Market.Android.Com site.
And, if you haven't rooted yet, you must have both AT&T Navigator AND Telenav installed at the same time (ex. AT&T Navigator exists on system/app folder)? Are you sure you aren't subscribed to the service (now)?

No Im not subscribed. I cannot find the app due to it being blocked but because of the link to it that was posted earlier I was able to download. Now the number I have from att was ported over from when I had sprint, and my data is still stored with my number from when I had the free service with sprint. I even have the ability to look at my recent destinations which was taken when I was with sprint last summer.
As the title states, my data is not working in areas that are not reframed. It will default to 2g or g in these areas where it was originally hspa+. This came after installing ARHD from the international htc one forums. I tried flashing other ROMS after and even restoring my nandroid from stock but that did not fix the problem. If anyone knows a fix to this it would help me a lot because most of where I live is not reframed.
That is very scary. Sad news, sorry to hear OP

You know, you might go ahead and try flashing the TMO radio from that thread. Since your model is TMO, it might work.

Did you just flash or rooted it?
hello,
I converted my tmobile htc one into a google play edition a few days ago and for the most part i have no complaints. however, a few days ago i noticed that i wasnt able to pick up an lte signal. I'm not sure what is going on here. I'm on the southern california area(riverside) is the lte down or something. it was working perfectly a few days after i converted my one to the GPe so i don't think this could be a problem. I was thinking of running an RUU back to stock to try and see but i dont know what to do. Any ideas??
Do you still have the T-Mobile radio, or is it now switched to the GP radio firmware?

did you convert your htc one to a GPe? i have done everything but a reset which i might do. it also might be the signal might be down in my area. i had this problem happen before earlier in the year with my note 2 i didn't have lte yet but i didn't have any hspa service for two days so it could be that but since i converted my one i hope its not something hardware related
Good question. Though I'd give a t-mo radio flash a try. It's easy enough to flash back.

yeah i suppose so. as of the moment i'm not rooted or anything. I'm however still S-OFF. Would I have to install a custom recovery and then flash the tmobile radio?
You should be able to fast boot it. I'd look for a good guide in the HTC One international forums.
I'm rooted w custom recovery, so it's a bit easier for me.

alright i will attempt this later tonight. thanks for the help and i will update with whatever happens.
Update: So i just went to Target which is about 6 miles from my house and I got LTE just fine so maybe it might be just a tower by my area that isn't working. I might just wait this out then idk i might flash the radio and see what happens
