Hi. I hope someone can help me out. My Motorola Electrify(US Cellular Photon) was getting stuck on the can not boot1 screen. So I used RSD Lite to try to load the software back on. It looked like it was working but said failed. Now the phone wont turn on at all and wont charge etc. Is there anyway to get the software back onto the phone if you cant turn on the phone?

Did you drain the battery dead? Does the phone turn on if you take the battery out, plug power cord in, and then put the battery back?
If so the only way I found past a Failed to Boot 1 is to RSD the non 2.3.5 pudding onto it. If you get this far you will be stuck unlocked but at least you will be back up and running.
Also it would be helpful if you explained how to got to the Failed to Boot 1 screen. What steps you took..

Try connect it to the computer then press volume up + power (RSD protocol mode).
Is it still cannot entering RSD Protocol ?
Cause was i has almost same problem, failed flashing using RSDLite (it got stuck in BP passtrought). When i try to to power up, nothing, entering RSD Protocol (without connect to the computer), nothing. But when i connect it to the computer then try to enter RSD protocol, its work. Flash it again and success.
Maybe you can try it.

Are you getting into download mode with the battery pulled(ie...pull battery and hold vol. down, yellow triangle should appear)? If so, try redownloading the samsung drivers. If that don't work, try another computer to make sure its not a usb issue. also make sure your using the stock usb cable that came with your phone.
ya i have tried 4 computer is the household and still not yellow triangle...err....someone told me try and make
You can try to put it in download mode away from the computer by keeping the battery in, pressing and holding the volume down button, and plugging it into a wall socket.
If the phone powers on and goes into download mode, unplug it and go over to your computer without turning the phone off. Plug it into your USB port and remove the battery.
From there you should be able to run Odin and flash back to stock.
Not sure if it will work for you... but it's worth a shot.
what i have heard i hard bricked the phone. I can get the phone even to turn on. I have tried the usb jig but i couldnt get it to work so i ordered one on line and should be here tommarow. I believe that I flashed with my sd card in would that cause this to happen?
Well I found a fix for Photon's that are stuck at the red Motorola logo and will not enter RSD protocol.
Here was my situation:
Photon was running CM9 and I needed to flash back to stock. So I got all the drivers and RSD lite installed and downloaded the SBF for the Photon. Booted into RSD Protocol and opened RSD lite. Selected the SBF and started flashing the phone. Well in the middle of flashing, five minutes later, my desktop decided it was going to lock up. At this time I knew I was Fed. Rebooted the computer and pulled the battery on the phone. For the next few hours I tried everything I could possibly try to get the phone into RSD protocol to no avail. Tried every key combo listed on these forums and had no luck at all. It was about to get thrown against the wall when I figured I would F around and hold both vol keys + camera + power and put the battery back in the phone with USB plugged into computer. And to my surprise RSD protocol text displayed at the top of the screen and I was able to flash that SBF again with success this time..
Not sure if it was just a fluke but I was able to test my theory a second time but retrying that scenario over.. flashing sbf, pulling battery in the middle of it, not being able to get to RSD with standard key combos, but being able to enter it again using both vol keys + camera button + power button and plugging in usb and battery
Hope this helps!

Usually if the phone can't boot, it will go into RSD mode by itself after about a minute or so on the red moto logo, but you have an interesting solution too.
Holy sh*t how many hands do you have?
Do you mind if I include this on my website? You will get proper credits.

I am unsure if this is exactly true.
I had a similar issue when sbfing back to stock after a failed cm9 stint.
Had exact same red moto with no key response. My fix was pull battery for like 15 minutes, holding power a couple different times then plugging AC adapter in and reinserting battery. Let phone stay on the red m for a while then finally (10 minutes) it would do the bootanimation then powercycle. After the powercycling my button combos worked everytime regardless of RSd or fastboot.

I tried downloading the new 4.0.4 leak and it didn't work :/
But anyway i set my phone back to original stock and my battery must have died.
So now my phone is doing something weird. I go to turn it on and it wont go past the M logo.
When I plug it into the charger it still wont go past the M logo, nor does it charge my battery. I can't plug it into the computer because the phone is so dead that it gives me "the white light"
I can't send my phone in because I rooted it and they won't do anything..
Please help!
Try following Steps:
Boot in AP Fastboot > Connect your Wall Charger > Press Power
If you're an lucky Guy, your RazR will pass the red M and jump into the Battery Screen.
If your system is broken, you have to order an Factory Cable. With this you can flash the correct system signed or use the modded Utility for CDMA Leaks, to get your Phone back to life.
Wish you luck dude.

i had the exact same situation as you. however mine went down to last resort as nothing would save me. i had to get a motorola factory cable and all back to normal now.
you can still try alternatives incase yours is slightly different situation
i think they meant well plug into wall charger
ur phone boots up automatically so have vol + & - held then pick AP Fastboot then press power button to turn off phone and then see outcome?
I tried to sbf back to stock but it failed. RSD lite says "Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. Phone[0000]: Error switching phone to BP Pass through mode (0x70E); phone disconnected". I never unplugged the phone and I have no idea what to do. When I hold the power and volume down buttons it stays on the res M boot screen and it doesnt show the menu. Please help me, I hope I'm not bricked.
Charge only mode
I just plugged it in hoping that BSR would still be in it, but it booted into charge only mode. I dont know if that is any help but I thought maybe since it'll boot into that maybe I could do something with it.
Fixed it
I got it to boot and tried to SBF again and all went smooth. I have no idea what happened but for anyone else who has this problem, this is how to fix it. Plug it into the wall letting it boot into charge only mode, hold the power button untill the screen goes black and then hold it againand it should boot up.
Which USB cable you use?
Hey guys,
I had purchased this phone awhile back in 2012 and The model is: XT912. I had rooted it and installed a Custom Rom (Black Widow). The reason why I stopped using it was because I had a cracked screen so I upgraded to a different phone but having alot of issues with my new phone. So I decided to replace my screen for my Droid Razr, but its been awhile since i've used it and been experiencing issues of my phone not booting up and looked online for multiple solutions but no luck.
Issues are:
- Phone needs a USB Wall Charger to be able to be turned on, battery is charged fully but when I unplug my USB Charger, my phone turns off. When I try to attempt to do a fastboot session, I connect my Stock Motorola USB Cable to my PC and on my phone, it shows a white light. But when plugged in to a wall charger, my phone boots up but doesn't boot anywhere besides the motorola logo.
- My phone boots up, shows the motorola logo and goes straight to battery charge and it shows 0% then 5% then 100% sits there for about 3 minutes and then reboots.
- When trying to go into recovery, it stays on the motorola and i've left it there for 24 hours abd no luck.
I've tried multiple things, but its been very aggravating since I've been trying to look up solutions for the past week but still had no luck.
Please help =(

The white light means that your battery is empty, try this:
Booting from AP fastboot to charging mode
If the Device will only boot to AP Fastboot and it says Battery Low
Connect the phone/Device ato a Wall Charger (not PC)
-In AP Fastboot Mode hold Volume down& power buttons at the same time for +10 seconds
- When screen goes black...release power button
-Then IMMEDIATELY press and hold Vol - and Vol+ to boot to Boot Menu.
- In Boot Menu scroll down with volume down to BP Tools, press volume up to select
- Device should boot to Charging Mode with battery icon
- Once battery is charged, try flashing in AP Fastboot again
This will only work if battery charging Firmware is still present and not corrupted
If Motorola Device will not boot to Charging Mode, a Fastboot cable will be needed.
You can buy it or you can make one by yourself, look at the picture.
If you can boot to AP Fastboot mode use this utility to flash stock rom, here http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr/development/droid-razr-utility-xt913-jellybean-t2861798
If nothing works maybe your battery needs replacement...

I've tried the troubleshooting steps mentioned above but no luck.
What I remember is that, back in the day when I installed the ROM, I wiped everything, incl. the Recovery partition and I believe android version it was on was ICS. When I installed Black Widow, everytime i would reboot it, i had to turn it on a certain way, sort of like safe mode. I've tried it though but no luck
Also, everytime I do plug in a charger, It does show a charge of 100% but once I unplug the USB, it turns off and the only way to turn it back on is plugging the USB back in.
I've also created the cable you've mentioned, but it still shows a white light when plugged into a PC. I've already replaced the battery and the battery is brand new. Just replaced it yesterday.
Any other suggestions? Is there a way to fastboot it so i can install a stock rom with the OTA?
Thanks.

You can't charge the phone with the fastboot cable,it is for flashing the stock rom with RSD Lite when your battery is low.
Here is everything you need
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3023837
Download Motorola drivers,RSD Lite, appropriate sbf file for your region and flash it.
Oh,use Windows 7,not Windows 8
Edit:
Use this utility because you have XT912

Ok, So I was able to get to the Boot Logo usuing HW Diag. and Boot AP and my screen would show safe mode activated, then it would boot up a logo and I believe its cyanogen mod. It has a Blue Droid with a ring circling around it, but then it restarts. Maybe if i'm able to boot it into safe mode from the beginning, i could start it up.
How do I boot it into safe mode when the phone is off?
Thanks.
