Android User Account With separate files and data - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

i found this getting lost in YouTube,
there is a post of this in the fist page of the xda website, but i will post this in here hoping some developer see it and maybe finaly create the damn dualboot
with this app you can create different user account on your android device with proper apps, data, media and settings but the system remains same for all users (for moment i hope) so have fun!

Ics 4.0 ported keyboard (installable apk format)

I found this over in the i9100 forums (which is where i have been spending a lot of time lately trying to.find new tweaks, roms, themes, and apps)
Anyways it is a great keyboard, ported from ics by the guys in the i9100 themes and apps forums, so i take no credit for this as they did the work. Here is the link to the thread where it can be found and so you can can thank them if you like it. All u have to do is doeboad it and i stall it like you would install any other apk, and you are good to go.

Ok...why is there a warning "use of this keyboard will allow logging of passwords, credit card info, and other personal information"
If this is some type of method to gather info....why even bother to give a warning

I have no idea. I assume it is the same for most keyboard apk's?
I'm pretty sure its the fact that keyboards remember your information because swype always gave me the same warnings when using it in certain apps.

Lol, I already posted a link to this in a previous post.. smh.
does the touch to correct feature not work on this keyboard? or is it specific to the samsung stock keyboard?

DiskUsage help needed

Hi, I'm author of DiskUsage application. The app shows graphical map of the used storage space, which makes it easy to find space hogs.
I have a few reports that the recent app updates breaks something on SGS2. Could some of you try my app and tell me what's exactly broken / doesn't work. It will be even better if you also attack output from 'cat /proc/mounts' command from your device.
I don't have SGS2 and can't fix the breakage without your help. Thanks in advance. Ivan.
It works fine for me. No problems yet.

It works really well for me with no problems.
It is also an extremely useful app to help me see what is using the space on my phone and SD card. This has just become one of my favourite apps. Thanks for writing this.
Works for me .

I tried to do a rescan on my /sdcard but that made my phone boot.
The way you visualize folder usage is easy to understand and very useful. Great work

works fine with DXKI2. thanks for the app.
Thank you guys. I have no idea what the users complained about in the comments section on the app page. Usually, if you want to have something fixed it's better to send a email to developer, instead of putting a message in comments section.

WAHHOO, good news
i think too that this lg kenel can help; because it has the same tegra2 sco ; so source can be update with specific device id of the atrix. but i suppose that's is a hard work.
epinter update us
The link works on the phone, I just checked. It must be accessed through https, though.
Here it is again, for easy zero-effort clicking: https://github.com/epinter?tab=activity
BTW, next time some of you have problems accessing stuff on your phone, how about you just use your computer instead?

Thx for trying but https on the phone still won't allow the page to open (screenshot below if you're curious), anywho it doesn't matter anymore because I just checked in on my PC at home after I got back from work. I try not to use my work computer for non work related items and especially any that may use the word hack in the subject.

They are working, i think if they have news, you'll hear soon. This is a forum, if you want news, you READ first, then ask LATER.
Also please take note of the post's date.

Beginner

I have recently discovered that I would love to start developing Android apps as a hobby and I have completed this set of lessons - http://developer.android.com/training/basics/firstapp/creating-project.html - successfully but now I want to learn more.
If anybody has any "making of" videos/series of people developing apps (in Eclipse) then please can you link it here.
Thank you.
AW: Beginner
Did you already go through all this tutorials http://developer.android.com/training/index.html?
wow cool. Didnt know that they offer such Lessons. Just always get redirected to the API. Did someone really made all the Trainings before creating Apps? I dont think so but its a very good starting point

I would recommend taking a look at The New Boston android app development series (http://thenewboston.org/list.php?cat=6) it covers everything from essential basics to more advanced topics like databases and using OpenGL, among other android development topics.

I noticed in your original post that you mentioned 'adfly'......
Please don't ask us to help you download assets from that type of site......that site (and other similar sites) specialise in 'warez'......illegally copied (pirated) content. This is something that any dev on XDA is totally against.....it's also against THIS sites rules. Don't ask for assistance here if all you want to do is download content illegally........

Are you going to stop using adfly ? The reason I ask is because I don't want to be helping someone break the communities rules.
AdFly is fine in itself, it's just a URL shortner, albeit one that pays people for posting links via their service thru advertising on the click-thru. Yes, people who share material that's been pirated use it, but so do a ****load of people on Twitter & a whole lot of other people who use it to shorten links which don't lead to pirated material.
Edit - Having said that, obviously with these threads one tends to suspect people are downloading stuff they haven't paid for by default, hence my 'fishing' post initially (you'd be surprised how many people on here have no qualms telling you they're trying to access free stuff they should be paying for in these types of threads).
