[Q]How to get data working on T-mobile (USA)

how can i make my phone work with T-mobile in Usa, i Have unlocked it but i dont know if i can make it work with Data because i have read that it's impossible to make it work with data on 3g. My Phone is S5830L and i have the kp3 modem from telcel.
You need to see the UMTS frequency that T-Mobile uses, I think it's 1900, so, you need to use the baseband for that frequency.
What rom are you using on your phone? You could try this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399917
Flash using Odin.

Need Help for Huawei A199

Dear all,
I just purchased a A199 Huawei dual CDMA/GSM phone from Aliexpress. Prior to purchase i had confirmed with seller that phone isn't locked and that i would be able to use my own provider SIM cards.
When I received the phone only the GSM SIM is detected, the CDMA SIM isn't detected despite using the same 800 Mhz frequency band (CDMA 2000). I then tried to download a ROM file from a chinese forum shuajizhijia.com, after the flash my phone kept rebooting itself continuously.
Anybody have any idea how to solve this?
Thanks.

But when i try to use it with my provider it does not get any signal.

AT&T devices are SIM locked by default. You need to follow the unlock procedure here: https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/

Thank man! I asked ATT and they gave me the unlock code:
Unlock request number: 20272xxxxx
Thank you for contacting AT&T about unlocking your mobile device.
Congratulations! Here are your unlock instructions:
Your unlock code is: XXXXXX
1. Power off the device and remove the AT&T SIM card.
2. Insert card from another wireless carrier.
3. Power on the device.
4. The device will prompt for the unlock code.
5. Enter the unlock code.
I DO NOT have an ATT sim. Do i need one? Because the device is not asking for the unlock code.

then friend, already switched sim from another operator and still the same problem. also my sim in another cell works what a beauty ... but give flasher another Chinese rom that worked to 3G + and appeared the same mistake,: Eek: only it was the fastboot method and the previous method by QPST, so I'm thinking that problem was in the brick and recovery ... I will try and recover brick again but now with the sim card inside ... but if anyone has more ideas to help thank you !!:dedos cruzados:

Need help to choose best firmware and baseband version for Moto E xt1527

Hi, I need help.
So, I bought 2 moto E 2015 model (at&t unlocked) from Ebay - very cheap.
But this phones working with only 2G mode in my country (even theese are LTE models ).
I want to reinstall system to better one - which there is no any at&t default applications or any of carrier applications.
And I also want to change baseband versions - because, this phone working only with 2G network type with my country's mobile carriers. I think it should be for baseband (network standarts) .
is it possible to fix problem with change firmware and baseband to no-contract version?
I asked my mobile carrier, they said, "we are using 900-1800 MHZ for GSM ; 900-2100 for 3G, 2100 for LTE (up to 2100)
Who can provide how to and links?
Thanks.
The AT&T model cannot be bootloader unlocked, so you cannot change the firmware to another version. There's a guide in the General forum about enabling additional LTE bands, you can try tweaking it for 3G, but there's no guarantee that the AT&T model's antenna hardware can support those bands.
