[Q] Select audio output when BT headset is connected? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all, I'm new to this Android business and Googling around isn't helping me too much.
If I have a BT headset attached to my phone/tablet, can I route the sound output to the miniplug on the device and still use some of the hard buttons on the BT headset?
I'm mainly thinking that I want a Bluetooth remote for my tablet and the only ones that I can find are attached to headsets or have miniplug out. I need to keep the audio going through the device directly (through headphone or stripped audio from the HDMI-out), any advice?
Thanks!

[Q] Radio via bluetooth

Hello everyone,
I'd like to know if there is an app or some setting that will let me listen to the standard radio via a bluetooth stereo headset.
I'm perfectly aware i need to plug in the headphones...well unless there is a workaround. I Just want to redirect the sound output from the obligatory headset to the bluetooth one.
Any kind of internet radio is not an option. We got some bad "Edge" only speed here...
Thx in advance
You could use a headset like this one: Sony Ericsson MW600. The radio is built-in directly to the headset.
I'm currently playing with some radio stuff
it will not require headset for FMradio.
I will make a new thread when ready.
but expect to hook some metal wire to the plug, or FM quality will be bad.

Bluetooth Audio Routing?

I've been searching here and eleswhere and can't find a answer so I finally decided to ask. If I posted this in the wrong forum I'm sorry, but I have a SGP5 so I figured this would be the place to start.
I have a app that I can run on my SGP5 that controls the functions of a communications radio (Ham Radio) over the Bluetooth serial protocol. What I need is a way to get the audio from the radio to the speakers on the SGP5. I do have a BT A2DP clip-on headset (built in mic & plug in earbuds) on order. From what I understand, the Android system only allows one mic/spk combination (internal, plug-in, bluetooth) to be used at a time. What I need is to route the radio audio into the headset mic, over the paired/connected bluetooth link, to the SGP5, and have it heard out the internal speakers. And the reverse, SGP5 mic to headset speaker. Not finding anyone doing something like this (using for remote mic pickup or as a baby Monitor for example) makes me think that it can't be done.
So my question is: Is this a Software (app) issue, a Firmware (rooting) issue, or is it set in stone in hardware?
Thanks for any answers/suggestions.
George

[Q] Bluetooth Audio Routing?

I posted this a while back in the Samsung Galaxy Player forum and didn't get any replies so I thought I'd repost it here in case someone has a answer.

[Q] Audio Routing

Does anyone know of a way or even an App that will route audio from separate source on the device to different outputs? For exampe, when i have my S4 in the car dock, I'd like to have phone audio get routed to my Bluetooth headset and any other audio like Pandora or GPS directions to go to the car speakers?
thanks
You should be able to go into bluetooth just press and hold the bluetooth to ogle and it will take you there you should be able to hit your paired devices each time you push each one it will change your audio output to each paired device. I do it every day with mine, I use headset for phone and wireless headphones for media I.e music Netflix Pandora etc etc

Bluetooth AVRCP control with 3.5mm phone connector instead of A2DP

Hi all. I searched the Internet but could find solution anywhere. I wonder if there is any possible way to transfer music through 3.5 mm while connected to Bluetooth headset.
I would like to use Bluetooth AVRCP functionality (next/previous track buttons) but the sound quality through A2DP is crappy so i would like to transfer music by 3.5mm audio cable.
How can i do it on regular android phone?
(I need this functionality for a car bluetooth module. It is much more safe to use buttons on the steering wheel while driving and it is annoying to use A2DP if the quality is not comparative to CD)
