Hey first post but long time reader.
I am in need of the stock samsung galaxy ace keyboard starting to get fed up of the keyboard I have.
I have the latest cm7.2, updated 23/01/2012, im prety sure its odexed.
I have tried a few flashable and tried puting the files where they need to be manually but none have worked. Can anybody point me in the direction of what i am looking for?

i tried tj_droids but it didn't work for me.
And in that what does the rwxr_xr_x represent.
I tried read,write,excecute_excecute,read_exceute and it didn't work????

Yes, this is right.
Try odexed version first, if it doesnt work then go for the deodexed version.

Eh... I would hold off until someone can confirm that it works.. However, it should most likely work with a few changes, as it probably just installs a new launcher/ changes the icons.

Is it possible that the launcher works only with Gingerbread and up...? Maybe someone on MIUI or CM7 can give this a go.
Most likely it only works on GB as the above poster said. i900 already has official gb in odin form. Anyone with GB test it plz?
TouchWiz 3.5 froyo work fine for me, no fc.
Edit: I flashed this over Heathen Private Stock rom.

Install other launcher and uninstall adw with Titanium Backup !
That's how i did it and work's without problems
go setting>applications>manage application. find ADW, touch it then uninstall.

Use root explorer (or any same type of app) and go to system/app and delete adwlauncher.apk and reboot

that simple? what happens after? how does it look like? just curious coz i wanted also to use cm 7.2 icsunday barebones but having difficulty in liking adw.. do you have any more suggestions to make it look more appealing? would it be safe to flash an ICS theme, will that work and stuff? really really curious and excited, didnt know to ask this question before..

You need to install another launcher from android market before uninstalling adw launcher. I recommend Go launcher ex (eats very less RAM and looks very appealing) . ICS theme is already present in IceCreamSunday final. Go to theme chooser and select ICS theme.

its really good to have helpful senior members such as yourself. I truly appreciate the assist. the ics final barebones im referring to is the one with the guide. i didnt get the chance to download jusada's. do you by any chance have the download link to jusada's ics final rom?

i didnt mean any disrespect to any of the fine devs on this forum. I learned a lot about my ace from browsing through this site. And ive heard a lot about the wonderful work the devs put into each rom they upload. It would mean so much to have jusada's approval.. and thank you..

Jusada sir permitted me to upload the ROM but he says its already outdated. I agree with him. I recommend you to try nims11's infinity ROM. It is making great buzz on XDA and it's really awesome

I have enabled old samsung sliding tab lockscreens on ddkq8 look at [email protected] also based on ddkq8 but no note lock

On Stock DXKT5 can you? DXKT5 is not note lockscreen, its sliding

I'm having a very weird problem with the Samsung Keyboard on my GS3 especially the US one, other languages are working perfectly. I just wanna know how can I reinstall the keyboard? Is there any apk for it?

you can download the apk for keyboard.. and just push it to the system
I know I can download the apk...but where to download it from this is the question?? And is it a normal apk or a system apk which requires root explorer??? Its actually for a friend's GS3 which is not rooted !
