i came across this game today, Snake 97, and the game uses a dial pad mimicking the old nokia phones that you played snake on (and occasionally made calls) and my friend and i wondered if there were any dialer apps that looked like this. i did some searching and found none. Is anyone here able to develop a dialer app, or possibly make a skin to existing dialer? love to hear what the community thinks too...

does anyone know if something like The Early Edition 2 for iPad exists in Android ecosystem. I saw it today on my wife's iPad, this app is amazing. It looks gorgeous, it syncs with googlereader, it shows articles in a newspaper like layout so anyone can become the editor on its own newspaper
I have searched Market but found nothing that is close to this app at least in look/feel experience. Anyone?

Hi, I am looking for any mod/rom/app which integrate dialer with google maps/navigation.
Android phone is almost perfect device for me but there is one huge problem with navigation when driving and someone call you then dialer covers whole screen when pickup the call.
So far I have found that only htc navigation works well with dialer but unfortunately the only navi app is best for me is Google Navigation.
So the question is...
Does exist any application or mod which activating that feature on android phone
Any one already tried to develop this ?
I have already spent around 100pounds on navigation apps that I dont like and I am able to pay some cash to have that option available on google maps and I think many people will be happy from this feature is well, so if you have any info how to do this please tell.

I am interested in the same. Though currently swipes and speed dial on ExDialer app works quite quick...voice dialer has its own charm and functionality (Though it has to be good with recognition & quick ...else it kinda defeats the purpose)

I have a nexus 5 and love the google experience dialer.
However there is one nagging issue, I often dial people by accident, I would like to know if there is a way to make it confirm before dialing, either via a mod or xposed or however. Thanks!
Those who have been fans and get used to Japanese smart phones they will know each & every phone have a voice memo apk when you set manner mode , if someone call being unanswered for 10s, the machine will speak and record the caller message.
Have anyone tried port out such a useful apk and use in other phones?
Is really pity we don't have this included in other phones, the is the most useful app ever developed.
