i would like to change the picture in the background of the settings menü (you know that blue light picture of the stock rom" i will have a black wone
but i have no idea how i did it
i have the feralab 4.0 rom

try to change the theme. it will change your wallpaper and the background of the menu settings. Long press the screen>themes and choose the one you want.

That's actually a good question, the black background is so bland and boring I'd like to know as well.

U haven't given the right info about what roms etc that ur using so they can't really help u.
If by gapps u mean the app drawer that can be changed in adw launcher. As far as settings I think u have to do a framework edit?

I know that adw can make transparency in the drawers and have the wallpaper of your home screen. it's in the drawer settings -> background color (pick a color then adjust alpha) other than this, I think there's another home launcher that can change drawer bg, i cant remember which one...
Check calum's sticky in the theme forum to get familiar with theming in general.
In 2.1, the framework-res.apk you mod is at system/framework/framework-res.apk
Not sure about 2.2, as there are several roms (which 1?) out there & I haven't tried any...
Anyway, find your framework-res.apk & push it to your computer. Now open it up with 7-zip or winrar. Then look in the res/drawable/drawable-hdpi folder (that's in 2.1, may be named differently in 2.2) for the image you want to change by how it is named and the way it looks (dimensions, color,etc). Then take the image you want to replace it with (make sure it has the same dimensions & extension) and drag it into the open archive(apk). Click OK then close the apk. Push it back to your phone & reboot. Sometimes backgrounds will be in other apps in system/app (2.1) for the messaging BGs, etc.

Knows somebody how can I change the background of Main Menu ??? I want to change the background because when I'm at the sun I can't see much with black background. Thanks
Go to Settings>CyanogenMod Settings>User interface>Notification colors. Now select Custom notification bar and select the color that you want. White is #ffffff. Or you can do this with replacing the old black main menu images with new white images with adb.
I don't know why, but I don't have these settings in my CM Menu.

Try to use a Launcher like go or EX. But i think you can edit the theme in the rom, search in the Android's Themes area
Hi all.
I'm here to make a little request, i don't really know if its possible but my friend Google doesn't find any solution for me.
I'm actually with a eyes deficience and i need high contrast to see without any problem on my screen. I need white text on black (or dark) background.
Now i've introduced my post, is anyone here can explain me how to do that i all menu of my Galaxy tab ? ebooks is ok, opera browser is ok too, but menu are still in black texts on white background.
Can i install a theme for that ? is there a register key to change ? I've a Galaxy tab 10.1 P7510.
PS: sorry for my bad english i'm frensh and english is not my cup of tea.

I have IPHONE MMS.apk and another MMS.apk like Windows 7 style
Download it guys
Rename to mms.apk and paste in system/app and chage permission

Ok the rom is fast very fast, UI are iOS wannabe
But the keyboard size is take a half of screen, so some text box is missing (out of screen).
The camera autofocus not work, the flash light too strong sometimes make picture is to bright/white
if GPS icon blinking it switch with battery icon.

Am I the only one getting a keyboard bug?...The keyboard jkeeps typing '@' whenever I get to an input box...Any help?

In camera mode, you need to hold the shutter button (on screen, camera button will not work) to perform focus, release it to capture photo.

Anyone can change clock color on status bar
Hi guys! Good Day.. I just tried this ROM last night and it was good. . so fast and smooth.. this morning, i just tried on changing the launcher. . I installed iLauncher and the icons and overall performance was better than espier only that the statusbar of iLauncher is not transparent :crying: .
I just wondering if the developers can make the iLauncher be the launcher within this wonderful rom with a transparent statusbar. Is is possible?
Also, i just observed that in the lockscreen, the statusbar is not solid.. its still transparent. .
Anyways, thanks for this wonderful ROM.
Search if is possbile to disable staus bar on ILauncher Settings,
On Lockscreen is transparent beacuse, you are not in the launcher.

ilauncher does not include the way to add widgets ... it could miss for some people .

oh yeah. . its true .. . now, im using the default launcher . . im plannning to have it modded so that the icons are much clearer

hmm about on iLauncher, for now,, there is still no remedy for not having transparent statusbar

just got my moto e yesterday.... and i observed 1 thing....whenever i set wallpapers from system ....my softkeys get transparent...but once i set other image ...they turn to black background !!!! aby idea abt this query ?

Force stop your System UI from Settings>Apps>All>System UI...
Your nav bars will be transparent and then you can set your desired wallpaper.:good:
@ TheStrix .... tried.... but once i set my own pic as wallpaper...the softkeys go black...
only in system Wallpaper's they remain transparent...

Try Gravity Box[KK] (Xposed Module)...it allows you to set transparent level as you want..:good:

when you are setting wallpaper, do not zoom out wallpaper completely but zoom out just enough that you leave some part of wallpaper below bottom visible edge at the time of setting wallpaper. with this way, the part you left below bottom edge will cover softkeys & they will appear transparent.
while setting up wallpaper the area you are looking at lies above softkeys, that's the reason you need to leave some part of wallpaper below it
