I recently purchased the Galaxy Tab 10.1 keyboard and as I live in Quebec, I need to use the special characters such as é è à and such. But the problem is, Sammy did not include a French Canadian Samsung keyboard so it forces me to use either the French AZERTY or the English (US) QWERTY. I CAN type these characters but I need to hold the e or a key for a second and then choose which character I need, which is a pain.
Any way we can force the tab to use another keyboard or update Sammy's keyboard? I'm using latest version of Overcome. Solution would be very welcome, since I swapped a laptop for this, I'm mad at Samsung right now!

Essaye Anysoftkeyboard; arrange les touches du clavier software comme tu veux, pis arrange-toi pour que ça reste cohérent avec ton clavier hardware.
..Est-ce qu'il y a des touches dont tu pourrait te passer et qui conviendraient pour le "é à è"?
..Mais sinon c'était hyper prévisible comme problème; tu aurais dû y penser avant; compte-toi déjà chanceux d'être capable de les écrire tout court =)

It even works on WM 6.5.3, you just have to edit another registry key for the user agent. For the Kaiser, go to :

It seems 16 keys version doesn't work fine, and BJK's CABs don't solve the problem (as far as I've heard from other french users...).
I'm working too on a fully working french 16 keys ROM, but since I can't test it (I've got a 20 keys), I must wait for my beta tester report...
lapy, what did you use for your 16 keys keyboard package ? Is it a converted BJK CAB ?

i had same problems with the italian rom i have (iolita 2.4) ...i solved deleting in registry all the key TEGIC [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic] and installing normal BJK cab
for cooking is simple, just remove ALL keyboard packages and put BJK keypad and BJK language packs only. This will surely work, but only for 16 keys. Enjoy

it seems there is 2 point multi touch coming to the Big X10.. I did see heaps of updated Bluetooth drivers in there too.. but that could just be connected with ANT, unless you are a huge fitness freak I don't think its going to be anything exciting..

Yeah, we're due another update over the next few weeks. This was supposed to hit our phones in December but the delay pushed it back a month. Knowing SE, the update we received in November was really android 2.0 and the one we are about to get contains an actual 2.1 rom.

Nah.. knowing SE the update we got in December was 2.1 and they are going to roll us back to 1.6 because Rickard thinks that their 1.6 is better than stock 2.1

J aimerais savoir si le X10 Mini ( que j ai en ma possession ) sera un jour multitouch.
En effet, j ai trouvé quelque information sur internet, mais j aimerais en être sur.
Si j ai bien compris ( et que je suis tombé sur les bonnes informations ), vous ne voulez pas introduire le multitouch sur ce téléphone car cela nuirais a l expérience du " tout avec un doigt".
Je trouve ce genre de propos un bête, car en enlevant cette fonction, vous nuisez vous même a l expérience des utilisateur :
Je m explique, j ai un Ipod Touch, et depuis je suis devenu accro au jeux sur smartphone. Malheureusement, le faite que vous n introduisiez pas le multitouche a votre téléphone rend l expérience du jeu inconfortable ( pour ne pas dire impossible ) !
Avez vous essayé de joué avec un doigt ? Il faut être très fort niveau timing !
Donc j aurais aimé avoir une information précise a ce sujet, et dans le cas de non multitouch, je pense que je changerais tout simplement de téléphone ( d une autre marque bien sur !)

Allez vous autorisé la lecture a distance de la PS3 depuis ce téléphone ?
Cette fonction aussi m intéresse, car je possède une PS3 + le play TV; et le fait de pouvoir mettre des film a enregistré depuis son téléphone ( quand on est pas présent chez soit ), est une fonction très intéressante, je trouve.

So some application is not working correct and you re-downloaded the APK to reinstall it. But it didn't work, right? Did you do a factory reset/wipe after the upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4?
oui j ai fait un wipe et j ai reinstaller l apk cplus comme j ai cplus 5 etoiles je peux visionner partout mais en 1.4 il n y a que cplus a la demande qui fonctionne la tv en direct recherches toujours je recherches donc une solution a se probleme merci
It doesn't surprise me that auto-translate struggles! Apart from un-install and re-install the app, I have no other ideas. Maybe it has some authentication or security which is failing to work. Your best bet is to see if anyone else sees similar problems with that application on other devices.
j ai desinstaller et reinstaller l aplication mais idem video a la demande fonctionne mais pas tv en direct sur version 1.4 a l inverse en version 1.3d tv en direct marche super bien mais pas de video a la demande!!!
