I love Google music and probably never will use anything else but I also love the HTC music player UI and widgets. Do u think Google music will ever get integrated into other music apps?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
I think google will integrate music better into a new update of android, maybe ice cream. I'm hoping for a nice homescreen widget and a lockscreen one as well, and maybe compatibility with headphone buttons to change/pause/rewind songs, like on the iphone
Once root is achieved is it safe to remove HTC music?
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
Yes. It will be safe. Did it previously by just removing the apk for it

So I'm using go launcher ex and I know all the sense widgets won't be usable through it. What i was wondering is if there are any Widgets i can download which will work for the HTC music player still.

Okay solved it. The app Phantom Music Control will give you a widget which controls the sense player when using a different launcher or having sense disable on your phone. There's no album art but it makes it easier to make use of the beats audio from the home screens.

Any one got a solution?

Thanks for the link, I thought it's for Android 2.x... anyway tried it on CM9, and it's a nice music player! A widget other than the not so functional album widget would be great, although there is a lockscreen widget for it.

Ya..lock screen widget s good ..it s missin an homescreen widget

Is there a way to get the One X music App to our Phone?
I think its attached to their framework and its not possible. Use poweramp instead. Its better.
