I do all my school work on my prime and really want to backup it up so I don't lose it. I've looked at different types of cloud storage but I haven't been able to figure out if there is a certain one that will allow for automated backup of my files on my tablet. I know that they are all capable of automated backup on an actual computer but is there any that will actually do this on the prime. Maybe they are capable of this and I'm just not seeing it.
Titanium Backup is key to all success. It allows for automatic backups to a Dropbox account. You can setup schedules for it to backup on a daily or weekly basis. It's the best IMO.

Um, sounds to me like he wants a way to back up his schoolwork, not his apps. For backing up apps I agree titantium can't be beat, and will sync with Dropbox so your apps are safely backed up online.
If you want to do the same with arbitrary folders, I would recommend FolderSync from the market. Lite version is here which will allow you to sync one folder to the cloud of your choice (It currently support multiple SkyDrive, Dropbox, SugarSync, Ubuntu One, Box.net, LiveDrive, HiDrive, NetDocuments, Amazon S3, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, WebDAV or windows share (Samba/CIFS) accounts)
You can automate the frequency of syncing with a high degree of control. Paid version will allow you to do multiple folder syncs. I find it great.
Hope this helps.

I would just use Dropbox, or a microsd.

Hi there,
I am looking for some Android Sync softwares which can syncronize data between PC and Android cell phones wirelessly.
Is there any good one?
Suggestions:
Short answer: "it depends".
For music I have used isyncr, which syncs to iTunes. isyncr lives on your SD card & will bring in playlists. Look in the market. There is a Wi-Fi add-on that you can also get from the market.
Of course, Dropbox & Box.net can sync folders through the 'net. I think Box.net is finally going to ship their app soon. Dropbox is available now in the market.
I know you want wireless, but using a wire and "Sync Toy" (a Microsoft product, believe it or not) can sync quickly. You can set it to sync any folder(s) on your computer with folder(s) on your SD card. I use it to sync pictures, docs, etc. It works fast so you'd only be attached for a bit. You can set multiple sync plans, which makes it a quick & easy way to keep a current backup of your SD card as well.
The chief thing stopping me from migrating to a CM7 ROM is the fact that my Titanium Backups (to include associated data) can't seem to be accurately restored into a CM7 ROM. I can get the app installed just fine, but I can't seem to get the data to restore. I'm sure it's dues a SQL or some such difference, but I'd be very curious if anyone has similar issues or any ideas on a solution.
Are you trying to restore system settings? (The apps colored green and red in Titanium.) I'd try restoring without that - which I just did myself very successfully. For the most part, many system settings come over from Cyanogen when you sign in with your Google account at the setup - all of the WiFi access points and settings, etc. You still have to change things like sounds, but many settings carry over.
For call logs and SMS messages, I suggest SMS Backup+, which stores those items in labels on your GMail account and can then restore them when you wipe data on a new ROM. It won't restore MMS, but those messages do get backed up to gmail and you can see the attachments there if you ever need to.
Actually no I wasn't so concerned about system settings. TB has always worked fine for me for both SMS and MMS before. In this case, I am specifically concerned about apps used for tracking my checkbook and keeping a running log of my blood pressure (Checkbook and BPLog).
I just looked up the listing for Blood Pressure Log on appbrain. The description says that it supports both export and import of CSV data (though import is listed as "experimental"). I'd try exporting from a Nandroid Restore, reinstall the app from scratch, and see if you can import the data.
You can also export the data to Google Docs so you can still have a record of past data points.
Perhaps the checkbook apps has a similar export/import feature - or you can contact the developer and see if there is a way to move a data file over.
FWIW, all of the apps that I restored using Titanium had data move over. The only sort-of exception is the Kindle App, which knows which books I have but must use some sort of internal checking to know that this was moved from another build - it makes me log into my account. But the Kindle app always does that, no matter how I try to restore it.

I respect Titanium Backup, but I like My Backup much better. Especially since they improved it and increased the speed. Also I know a couple months ago they released a My Backup Root option which was a version offered (still on market) specifically for Root users.
Try it and see if it helps with your situation.
I have an HTC Droid Incredible and just got my Viewsonic Gtablet.
Should I use the same google account for both or should I use a secondary google account for the tablet?
Thoughts? Advantages/disadvantages?
I am currently running with one account, but have debated with going to two.
One Account Thoughts:
-Apps are tied to your account, so if you have a pay app you want to use both places you don't have to buy it twice
-I've had issues doing restores using Titanium Backup where it installed all my phone apps on my tablet, two accounts would alleviate this

Why not just have 2 TB backup directories, one for the tablet and one for the phone. TB backup the tablet apps, save them to your PC, then TB backup your phone apps and save them to your PC as well...each in their own "Backup" directory.
Every time I do a nandroid, or TB backup, I immediately copy them to my PC. It's of no use to me if I have to repartition to fix an error, and the backups get wiped out.
Hello,
Is there a way to sync some programs data, if they do not have these options themselves?
I suppose definitely we do not have a program similar to itunes. Or do we? That we just sync all devices through wire?
I am using android for 2 years, but now the above need seems so important!

You could use Titanium Backup's Dropbox sync. You only get one way sync, meaning you'd have to download the files to each device then move them to the Titanium Backup folder and restore. You'd almost do just as well to copy the folders to your computer and move them to each device.
Through the built in Google sync, you get contacts, calendar, etc. I'm not sure what other data you'd need to sync between devices.

OK thanks - synchronizing in such a way through Titanium, i think is not that efficient long term... Is a lot of hassle and should be doing it regularly.
For example notes to be synchronized (if the note program you have does not have this option) or music playlist to be synchronized or Angry Birds levels to be synchronized or programs downloading in one device to be synced with the other device in general.
I know that Google apps can be synced between devices and that is super, but i think is time to do a step forward and not just remain in what we currently have.
I suppose people with various Android devices would agree with me.
So no one else wants to sync all his devices together? Or I am still missing an important link between all these?

Sorry by the newbie question!
There is any application that stores accounts passwords??
Like paypal, facebook, twitter, ..., ebay, foursquare....
You could try msecure. It's on the Google Market.
:good:
Pocket. Good GUI and backs up to Dropbox if you want as well. Also available via Google Play.
Keeper from the market.
Has online Backup function
I like and use splashID. Can store many entries, custom fields, password to open app, certain fields can be masked the revealed and you can sync with your pc which works same way so when adding multiple entries its quicker to do it via PC.
Even used this on the windows platform years ago and never failed me even though I constantly flash new ROMS etc.

I recommend 'aWallet Password'. Stores passwords locally and does NOT have any upload/cloud sync features. Just what I need
