Critical Error - Xperia Play Android Development

Hi Guys,
sorry for posting this in Dev Section but i have modiefied a custom rom from here with some apps from stock and it runs really really fast and smooth and looks good.
So at every Start when i unlock it the first time it shows me this message:
"System UIDs Inconsistent"
UIDs on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable.
I wiped it a few times via factory reset but actually it shows me the same error.
How can i remove this message?

By saying what and who s Rom you used maybe they can help you more

Even after flashing a new rom its the same can't even use backup and restore now cause I'm not a Sony Ericsson device????
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Sony Ericsson's backup and restore is lame. Use some other backup software from the market like titanium backup.
P.S : Super wrong section... Blasphemy! lol.
What do I do bout this after startup

keep gettin uknown error in the app. but does anyone have any idea on what do?? and should the mod version be the same as the build?
Its hard to help you when no one knows what rom you flashed... additionally you seem mighty confused on what exactly you're doing. A good idea is to clearly understand what you are doing before you do it. I do not mean to belittle you in anyway in case you feel that way, but in general its a good idea to do so.From what I can tell it seems you mucked up the permissions of your system folders using astro...
If you're willing to start fresh, do the following.
1)Backup your contacts using the vcf file (you can make it from the dialer menu) (if you can)
2)I would suggest flashing back to the appropriate stock rom found in:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746
Choose the appropriate rom of 2.1.A.0.435 based on your hardware version x10a or x10i.
Make sure you have checked wipedata.
I hope I understood what you were trying to communicate.
EDIT: Next time post in the thread of the rom you flashed.
dude, you have posted 9 times in less than 1 hour. give people a chance to reply - a lot of the devs round the place are sleeping right now! keep on monitoring the other thread, no need to start 2 - just be patient. i would imagine you will need to reflash your phone from scratch and start again.
to restore data from SE Backup, you need to flash an original rom. this app ONLY works on SE roms. NOT custom roms.
Good luck dude!
it happened before i flashed the rom.. ive read every post in every thread i came across.. sdcard is now the system and every folder / file is now root.. no more shell..guess i cracked the bootloader on my phone mountin / as r.w with remount from the market and they installed java in the system folder
you think sdcards permanently in mnt now? before i had two sdcards folders
[EDIT] Im now a x10i with google passion build props and my build id is cm6.1.3 gingerbread v01
relax
just a suggestion, have you considered using the SEUS utility to restore the firmware?
If it was me, I would back up anything that needs backing up. Reflash with SE Update Service - C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony Ericsson\Update Service
Fastboot flash a rom of your choice. There is the stock available or a variety of alternatives. Is not something that can't be handled, no need to panic!
it worked with the last rom i user.. forgot which one but think it was the cm6.1.3 v4.5

SEUS does not care about the result once it interrogates the software. It expects there to be something messed, hence why you are forcing a system restore.. just start the update service, select x10, pull the battery for 30 secs, hold back while putting the battery in and have the cable connected, it's going to ask you to confirm then reload the last firmware that it has from previous updates - should be 2.1update1 - 435 or whatever...
/dev/block/vold/179:1 (r/w) = /sdcard

use binary's flash tool to flash an original ROM back to your phone, then maybe even do a SEUS over the top (not really required, but good for a test)
im just gonna leave it cause theyre no more folders with "shell" dev/vold is root now too..blocks root libs root bins root everything besides my sdcard..everythin was shell before
One thread is enough, and please dont post questions in the development forum.

[Q] "Android is Updating" Window on Every Boot [SOLVED]

Hey guys I get "Android is Updating" "Optimizing Apps" Window on Every Boot, just for a Few Seconds, It didn't use to do this, has anyone experienced this, I'm Running Hydra-H2o ROM and Siyah Kernel?
UPDATE, SOLVED, Thanks to SoLoR1 for the "Fix"

Mine only does this when I install a new app to the /system directory and reboot. As you said it only lasts a few seconds, nothing to get worried about.
Chris.
Sounds like it's a boot animation.
OP, does the "Android is Upgrading" occur after the boot animation or as part of the boot animation? I doubt it is a boot animation as I have had it before, and it is standard, just not after every boot. Are you changing something in the /system/app directory or flashing a new mod? These would trigger an "Android is Upgrading" message.
Chris.
Some form of zip align/ optimise at boot
Check your roms specifications .

It could be your cache or delvik cache is being cleared. Do you have something like a cleanup cache program running.

Try to install ultimate kernel cleaning script before you flash the rom.

Thats what im talking about, when I wipe cache/delvik cache and when I reboot, the phone as to rebuild the delvik cache, hence andriod is upgrading. Never did it under gingerbread but i think its par of the course for ICS.

I have it and I've Used it , but will give it another try, now that Siyah 3.2.3 is out!
Tried it super script and flash new kernel, didn't work, will try when the new rom is out

It isn't the dalvik cache being rebuilt that causes the "Android is Upgrading" because I just wiped my davlik cache as a test, and just a longer boot animation. I see that Hydra H2O is also an AOKP based ROM, like HydrogenICS, so I don't know, depends on the build version. Anyway, nothing to get annoyed about either. Just post on the developer's thread and see if anyone else has the same problem. Also, it isn't kernel related because I use Siyah Kernel too.
Chris.
I have same issue.... on every boot i get "Android is upgrading" window with Starting applications, i dont get any Optimizing applications, just Starting... for a sec or two... Didnt find the solution yet i also went and reflash same rom over with no success, only thing i didnt do is format /data partition since i cant be bothered to install all apps again....
edit: i found this since im runing stock XWLP9 with siyah krnel it might be it... however im sure i didnt have it few days ago...

Just found this. It does including optimising applications, but I think it gets to the point. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1365133&highlight=upgrading
Chris.
The thing is it didn't do it when it I did the clean install, it did it after the phone was completely set up...
Had a good think about this. Back in the days when we were all on gingerbread. We would install a new firmware and have to wait 10-20 mins for first boot," building the delvik cache, etc ". Prompting some noobs to think they were in a bootloop and pull the battery. ICS boots faster after first install," building aplication list, delvik cache, etc", can remember it stopping have way through to ask for data roaming to be enabled. After that, whenever we clear cache/delvik cache then reboot, it has to rebuild cache again. Only this time as a Andriod is upgrading message.

Just FYI : This can be caused by modified ODEX files (maybe you've used some sort of patcher to remove ads, etc...) Simply remove all the modified ODEX files and you're done.

Where do I find the ODEX files exactly?
I'm having the exact same problem - I get "Android is upgrading - starting applications" every time I boot my phone. I've got a Galaxy S I9000 running CM9 stable I haven't modified any ODEX files (not that I'm aware of). I just uninstalled Titanium Backup but I'm still getting the same message.
I tried to locate the ODEX files using ES File Explorer but I can't find them. More specifically, I can see all the .odex files for the system apps within the /system/apps folder (I don't think I should touch those though, right?) - but when I go to the /data/app folder to look for the user-installed apps, there are only .apk files in there and no .odex files at all. Are they kept somewhere else?
And if I do find where they are kept, then what? Should I just delete all of them? Is that safe?

[Q] Android updating

Hi everyone,
Ever since I use a self modded systemui.apk from an already modded apk, I am getting the android updating popup every time I restart the phone.
I see this message before, that is when I do the rooting stuff but it only shows up during the first boot.
Is that normal?
Besides that message, everything seems to work well.
Thanks

Which file should I remove?
I googled around and found several post about it.
Some say about removing titanium backup odex from data/app folder (or generally other odex files), reinstall titanium backup, clear dalvik cache and another one is deleting com.google.widevine.software.drm.jar from framework folder
I done all of those with the exception of titanium backup odex as I don't have those. I did reinstall titanium backup though and that jar file I didn't remove it using adb but simply delete it.
None fix it lol.

[Q] Q cmx10 v5.1

Dear devs and everyone, who can clear things out for me.
I have the new cmx10 v5.1 downloaded but before i wanted to flash it i was trying to delete the getprop for status 7 abort in the updater-script
but when i try to save it gives strange error about system/etc/terminfo/2/2621A and system/etc/terminfo/2/2621a some duplicate files and those are the first to pop up but there are more of them in the next folders..
How can i edit them? tryed already to delete the terminfo folder and then edit the updater-script that worked and after i copied in 7zip the files from original rom /terminfo back. But the files are there but all without the small letters files terminfo/2/2621a etc. duplicates can i flash the rom like that or is it not booting then? my battery is like 50% i hope i wont break my device..
Or am i forced to flash a JB rom without the terminfo/folder first if there is one, or do i need to install X10sv9final.ftf and start from there again?
Any help suggestion would be nice and i am eager to try without the duplicates but my battery -_- .

Instead of making changes to the ROM zip, u can just edit ur build.prop
ro.product.name and ro.product.model should be given the value X10i/a depending on whether u have international or American version..
ro.product.model=X10i
ro.product.name=X10i
Or
ro.product.model=X10a
ro.product.name=X10a

Thanks for info i normaly do that aswell. I simply forgot to check new rom first for those asserts getprop... And its ro.product.device= and ro.build.product= but i was trying the new Aminkernel 7002 1240 oc but when i ticked the 1240 phone kept rebooting even after using my backup... and then thought i flashed Scritch cm10 kernel and tryed to install the new rom and came up with status 7... tryed to mount sd in recovery but not working -_- .. eventualy i flashed ferakernel for android 2.3.9 based and mounted the sd in GB xrecovery and copied a rom without the stupid getprop stuff. Flashed cm9 kernel installed cm9.1 rom without the getprop assert. letted it boot installed root explorer edited my build.prop for the new cm10v5.1, flashed new cm10 kernel wiped data, system, cache, and dalvik-cache manualy. Then mounted system data and cache and flashed the new rom afterwards which worked fine. What a hell off a process whas that aint it. I simply asked myself why its still included in the roms if the can the rom function without those assert getprop stuff. I hope someone can clarify some things about that..

U could've saved urself a lot of time if u had upgraded directly from stock cm9..
And abt the kernel, every cpu is different. Some can handle 1.2 some cannot.. this is coz of the manufacture process.. no 2 chips of the same model hv the same tolerances.. even 2 consecutively manufactured chips might vary in certain aspects..
