Android Market issue - blank black screen - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
My Galaxy 10.1 Tab's Android Market today claims that the client is out of date and will be updated automatically shortly.
"Your client is out-of-date. It will be automatically updated shortly"
Its been this way for the past 24 hours.
Market on my device has 1.0.28 version.
I clicked on OK but no any result (
Now got update to my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and now have 1.1.0 version. And can run Market.
But my friend have XOOM and there version of market is 3.4.4 and his smartphone have same version - 3.4.4
On AndroidMarket I see that current version of market is 1.1.0 https://market.andro....android.finsky
I downloaded 3.4.4 to my PC, transfer to my Tab & install on there

After installation MArket 3.4.4 I use market 3.4.4.
But in ApplicationList I have two versions of market(see attach)
6.32 Mb - it is Version 3.4.4
1.98 Mb - it is Version 1.1.0

But now have issue
However, when I go to Apps from the home screen I get a blank black screen(see image below).
To view index page of market I should doing some steps:
Find some app (via find line) and install it.
Or go to downloaded apps and select some installed app...
After this tape on market icon - upper left corner - you should go to index of Market.
How to make to view index page of market without any steps?
Any suggestions?a

I did the same and it works fine, but the apps it searches for are very limited. For instance when I enter "hbo go" in the search bar it does not find it. I have hbo go on my htc evo, but it will not come up in the search for my tab. I guess I will look into the settings to see it the issue is there.
I do have 2 markets , and only one to delete. I can live with it as is, at least until I change to another rom. I do not have the blank screen as you do.

I have exactly the same issue: 2 Markets and a black screen at the beginning, and I did the same thing (installed the 3.4.4, etc.)
I will be looking for solutions, but if anyone knows something, please tell us :C

I had the same thing, I ended up just doing a factory restore (I ain't into the ROM Thing) and fixed it that way. I had a lot of crap built up anyhow, so no biggie for me.

Thank you, it worked for me (when asked, I didn't restore anything from my Google Account after the hard reset).
My only concern is that the Market is again 1.1.0. (it would be ideal to have the last one, 3.4.4), but now is not claiming the "out-of-date" thing.

I uninstall market v.3.4.4, uinstall all updates for market 1.1.0
After this my market download updates to 1.1.0 and now working with 1.1.0 -- native market for tablet...
I do not know why my tablet can't download updates to 3.4.4...

Hi guys,
today my galaxy tab told me that new updates is available.
And I downloaded it.
After installation and rebooting tablet told that P7510UEKMP was installed.
So, now my market version is 3.4.4
but trouble with blank black screen isn't fixed.. ((

So you can't add shortcuts in the usual way (tap and hold > App shortcuts > Market)?
After the update, you have two markets installed again?
I can't update my tablet right now, but I'll post as soon as possible.

I added icon - it is not problem now.

Yep, I didn't got the blank screen but many apps refuses to update (market error). Tried to fix it with Titanium (fix market), with partial success (except Arcmedia Tab, wich refuses to play and print a message "cannot connect to market", and closes).

same here: after samsung kies firmware update android 3.2 I have 2 market apps 1.1.0 and 3.4.4 and a black market home screen! samsung and google please fix this!

solution?
Ok, people try this:
Search for an application, i entered "facebook for android" and decided to install it, voilá no more blank screen! Just install some new app and it will work fine.
Forget it, it works untill you close the market, samsung sucks the previous update sucked and this is ridiculous.

I solved the market issue reflashing the rom (Gtask 14.1) without restoring the apps with Titanium backup. I just let the market reinstall all missing apps, and worked for me.
