You have to install emulator for MIDP. Check http://www.netmite.com/android/
Download this and install it.
Because the Dalvik virtual machine is based on the JVM, any JAR should be able to be recompiled into an APK.
PS: Sorry for the fake guide I posted before.
Hmm... i already tried this but it gives me error in many cases...

Then download the eclipse IDE for Java ME, install the Android plug-in and install the DJ decompiler. Then port the decompiled application to fit Android SDK 8 (Froyo).
I think you will prefer not running the jar applications .
O_O... I'm afraid I don't know anything about compiling... Not even basic developer knowledge...

I'd just borrow someones computer for 15 minutes. Im sure you know someone who has one. Download all the files to your phone so all you have to do is install the drivers, run the program and uninstall it if they want.
or you can do the dock method at a sprint store if you are brave enough...
I found computer... Is there a linux root method

I rooted the photon only using the phone. Downloaded the file to sd. Then used terminal emulator to run 3 commands..done..so easy.

Did you get it figured out yet? Looks like you would be successful using the Photon Torpedo method using just your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216131

I'm trying to set up eclipse to develop android. I created an app with the HelloAndroid YouTube tutorial by TCKDevelopment and when I try to run the app, it gives this error:
"Your project contains errors, please fix them."
But no errors are showing up...what could I be doing wrong?

Try to make a clean if the project.
If there are no errors the indicator on the project explorer should go away.

Okay maybe I should have mentioned I'm a noob with this stuff. Also it's on Mac os x (lion), if that helps

I managed to create tekken 3 as an apk. It didn't install and using AIDE, there were errors with the manifest file. Would you know how to fix them?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda app-developers app
Psxperia has to have new patch files installed I busted my balls trying to make them but the maker used linux to do all his work. And its like a Herculean effort to recreate the same thing on windows. I havent completely given up but psxperia cracked the old emulator not the one that is currently in crash bandicoot. Once we get cwm I think there might be a solution tho.
Over in the play forum there is a guy who made it so you can use any Xperia play ps app so once we can flash that we can use the Xperia play cracked crash bandicoot.
