Here is mine
1 ADW + fancy widget
2 modified androzip(win7 icons)
After watching the video demoing the Windows 8 tablet I decided to try and recreate as much of the UI as possible.
If this sounds like something you want, you'll need the following apps:
-ADW EX Launcher
-Desktop Visualizer
-Multipicture Live Wallpaper
Optional:
-Palmary Weather Pro
Setup:
-Place the adw_ex_settings.xml file into your /sdcard directory and restore settings in ADW. Or set columns to 9 and rows to 5, make sure you have widgets set to stretch in advanced and turn off wallpaper scrolling.
-Set the wallpaper in Multipicture Live Wallpaper. Or you can try Wallpaper Wizardii if you want, but even though we're only going to be using the one wallpaper I found Multipicture was easier to use.
-Place a shortcut to open/close the app drawer under "Start", use the transparent.png for an icon and delete the text. Then arrange the 2x1 and 1x1 desktop visualizer widgets as you see fit.
*Optional* Modding Palmary Weather Pro:
-Download Apk Manager from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695701
-Pull the Palmary apk and place it into the modding folder, then run the Apk Manager script and select 1 to unzip the apk.
-Unzip the weather backgrounds and icons (optional) I provided into their respective directories, overwriting the existing files.
-Press 3 to zip it back up and then press 4 to re-sign the apk.
-Install the app and change the background color by choosing different transparencies in Palmary settings.
Please note that if you edit the background png's I provided they will not work afterwards. If you want to add more colors or change the ones I included, you'll have to refer to this guide here: http://modmymobile.com/forums/404-mo...ng-images.html
I hope you like the look, and if you make some new icons or wallpapers please upload them to the thread. If enough new ones get made I'll add them to this post.
Files:
Wtab8_icons - icons, wallpaper, adw settings
Wtab8_psd_fonts - 2x1, 1x1 psd files, Segoe fonts
Wtab8_weather_mod - backgrounds and icons for use with Palmary Weather.
The Palmary icons are still kind of a work in progress, if you live in an area that gets severe weather things can look a bit busy.

You can stop here if you want, but if you want to make the Palmary Weather widget look more like a Windows 8 live tile you'll need to take some additional steps...
First you'll need to download Apk Manager from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695701
Once you've pulled the Palmary apk, place it into the modding folder and press 1 to unzip the contents into the projects folder, then simply extract the weather backgrounds and icons (optional) into their respective directories. Then press 3 to zip it back up and then press 4 to sign it. Once that's done you can install the app again. Then you can change the background color via the transparency option.
If you want to add more colors or change the ones I included, you'll have to refer to this guide here: http://modmymobile.com/forums/404-mo...ng-images.html

Use the same method used to modify the palmary weather widget on ADW. Once the apk is unpacked, find the icons and make them transparent.

Hello all, I already make a uccw widget skin that really same like in SIII weather widget. But sorrow, I can't make it change the background when its night, so the background will always looks morning. hehe..
maybe someone can give me a clue how to make that work someday..
Ok, the skin and ss is in attachment, if you want apply this widget skin, follow this step :
- First, download my widget " Real-S3-ClockWidget-by-Ilham.zip"
- Second, using rootex or other apps for rename it to " Real-S3-ClockWidget-by-Ilham.uzip"
- Then, of course you must install Ultimate Custom Widget (UCCW) in your device (can be download at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...e&utm_medium=organic&utm_term=uccw+play+store)
- Then long press at home screen or add widget
- Choose UCCW 4x2
- Then UCCW will opened, tap at up right screen, there is a button with text "UZIP".
- Select the directory that contain my .uzip
- Wait for a moment.
- Then you'll back to your homescreen, tap your homescreen. And wala! Galaxy SIII Weather Widget is created. Congratulations!
Dont forget to press thank ya?
can you create the samsung galaxy s2 weather widget for UCCW?
PD: sorry for my english
thanks in advance

It's not a S3 weather...
You only use background of S3 widgets that is the reason why the weather not change with night and day...
If you want condition change with day and night then you should put proper weather condition in weather folder inside uccw folder (present in sdcard)

You must have noticed that the Sony weather widget is set for 4x1 grid. I remembered that I ported this for my Galaxy Note, I liked the 2x2 grid better. So found it in my google drive backup's and it should work for our Ultra. The reason it has the 2x2 and 2x4 grid is because its based on an older version of "weatherWidget.apk"
Requirements:
Root access to modify system apps
So here is the apk.
Download:
Download LINK
Method:
- Place apk into system/apps (ensure the permissions are correct)
- You will need to reboot for the new widget to take hold
Reviving...
Hello there
I am sorry for reviving an old thread, but I'd very much like to have this weather widget on my Lollipop'ed Xperia Z1 without switching to another launcher. Also, the download link in OP is broken. Could someone point me to a solution? I think this by far is the best weather widget out there.

ShamblerDK

Nice icon pack. Can you share icon pack name?
Sure thing, here it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.themezilla.spaceX
Here
Looks nice! Could you share the icon pack and the widget you are using please? Thanks!
@tossero : I see you're using a stock Vivo wallpaper. Were you able to install and use the icon pack without the need to create an online Vivo account for permissions to replace the FunTouch launcher?
Yes, without any hassle.
@tossero, did you install the icon pack without a launcher or are you forced to install a launcher first? Which launcher did you install?
