hi i am new with htc mozart 7 and i read that i should downgrade spl to install any rom to my phone
How can i do this ?

After flash SLSPL u have SPL 1.28.2250.3 and u must flash this ROM

This is the best guide (for me, at least) to downgrade your SPL, assuming your SPL is 5.xx. Check your SPL version first before proceeding.

i am gettin an error
invalid vendor id
and it reboot phone without any change
One person in my forum first Restore device via Zune.
When u update device via Zune, zune do backup. Try restore device and after try SLSPL.
Maybe now its work.

OFC u must see in white background in bootloader TEXT USB no Serial
If u dont see serial or usb u have half brick and u can only use cable to install customrom and oryginal rom.
Halfbrick is, when u try install RSPL/HSPL to 4.xx or 5.xx

yes , i tried it with Upgrade_HardSP_G3 and my SPL info is 2.15.0000 i have to do ? and nothing change when i hardspl my device , still the values is same
When the value is still the same.. Never and ever update with RUU.. it wil stuck on bootscreen..

how do i flash the hardspl 1.15 ? if i run the romupdate utillity, from folder flash-uspl-niki , i didnt get any result.. its just reformatting the phone...

Did you flash HardSPL?
For flashing another rom (English) you phone must be unlocked for flashing(HardSPL)
next step is downloading ROM you want, and flash it.
Go to bootloader (Power off device, press and hold "Camera" button, power on device) and try flash again. If it doesn't work, probably you usb cabel is brocken.

i got HD2 ...i tried to flash it with offical rom ...but it says invalid ID....so i tried to install HSPL... but while checking the USB connectivity it says (BAD SPL 00000)

hspl doesnt work with spl 3.03.0000, , its a 'bad spl'.
you need to give more info, lots more,, does it currently boot? what phone is it? what region? is it rom locked? do you know your stock rom? do you HAVE your stock rom?, help us to help you.
Hi. I've read somewhere in this forum, you can remove 3.03 SPL by flashing an older stock rom ie. 1.66 Stock Rom and that'll replace the SPL and then only you can install any HSPL. I remember gotten the bad SPL message because I forgotten to remove the HSPL to install the new stock ROM. I suggest maybe you can try to install an older stock rom and try all over again because maybe something went wrong somewhere along the installation.

radio : 2.14.50.04
rom : 3.14.404.1 (04666) NLD
& its working fine... but there is no english interface thats y i tried to install Official ENG rom... but its says INVALID ID....so i tried to re HSPL it...but it says (error 000000 BAD SPL VERSION)
yes, because hspl doesnt work with spl 3.03.0000, , , ,, extract ruu_signed.nbh from the wwe 3.14 and flash it using sspl. If that doesnt work, read the goldcard thread

you already have spl 3.03.0000 so use SSPL to flash either 3.14 wwe or artemis.

i searched for spl 3.03 and i found other threads saying that we have to flash with stock ROM but the serial number doesn't match with the mskip list...

You mention that it is a device who came from a contract under Orange.
So it is a Orange branded device.
So conclusion; you need this ROM: RUU_Leo_S_Orange_FR-B2B_3.14.73.2 Download!
And for your info; I have verified it with your S/N

Mate, Im confused..
You said you have that rom installed/flashed but didnt change the SPL?
As I know, the stock rom version 3.14 contains SPL 3.03.0000. So, your hd2 should have had that spl now.
Try to check again in case you missed something.
Also please keep in mind that SPL 3.03.0000 are not compatible with HSPL at the moment. It will cause you trouble if you install HSPL over SPL 3.03

that's the ROM i had when i get the phone and the only one i can get via HTC and the spl was only 3.03.0000 and do not change with flashing this ROM
now i have 1.43.french ROM and still this $&!ù^* 3.03.000 spl
ok i have successfully flashed the device with darkstone SuperRAM FroYo v1.5 using jayceooi's video because i saw the spl 3.03 in it

First of all I'm confused, If you already have this ROM; way your question about that you card find your stock ROM based on your S/N???
And secondly, way would you install stock ROM over SSPL??? Just use the normal installation proses. But in case you have HSPL on your device, remove it first. (HSPL isn't compatible with stock ROM 3.14)
was afraid when i saw that no S/N was like mine and i want HSPL because it's easy and i use it since Trinity without any probs.

If i understand correctly, you flashed with sspl and can't go back to hspl even after going back to stock rom. Its very easy to solve but difficult to find the required rom. All you have to do is download different kinds or should i say download an older version of the orange stock rom and install it on your device. That should solve your proplem, at least that how i was able to solve mine.

hehe, and that little piece of info is the cause of confisuion this mildly amusing thread,, , you see the only orange rom that has been released by HTC directly is the 3.14, (there is an earlier orange FR rom about, but i remember lots of people hunting high and low last summer for it) but the OP wants to downgrade to apply hspl.

I recently installed Dynamics7 v1.21 - Tango 8779, but i have issue regarding random reboot.
Can you give me the steps on how did you install nextgen+ rom, i tried it but i got some error.

Yup, that's the correct one. Just make sure you follow the instructions.
