solution is there on above forum...i think it relocks bootloader..i was also having same problem..but i solved the problem using above thread..in flastool it has two file..flash it on your mobile..then using woltenserver or flastool flash stock rom..it should work

this problem usually come when installing custom rom, so if you want update the phone, using flashtool, SEUS, flashing with wootanserver(its free) or repair with PCC 1st.
#correct if im wrong.

i recently flashed a friends x10 mini pro with stock 2.1.1.A.0.6 with Flashtool from his 2.3.6 CM mod.... to install ICS... and now hes touchscreen is unresponsive... i noticed that i have 2 seconds to touch the screen when its a fresh reboot then it goes haywire and keyboard sliding out doesn affect anything it just remains untouchable lol although i can lock and unlock the phone

Reflash using SEUS. This might help since it will flash using the same stock. If not just reflash a second time using flashtool, theres no harm in trying

tried reflashing again using flashtool but to no avail... i read somewhere that dual touch files in the phone are intefering the touch so im assuming i need to rid of that file but dnt know how when i cant touch xD

Instead of flashing 2.1.A.0.6 flash the 2.1.C.0.0(found somewhere in the forums the Flashtool one [.ftf] just search and it will be back to normal!

Thought so..
Well...my phone has service the other day and yesterday it has no service... i switch to a different sim card and still "No Service and Emergency Call Only"..Please I need ur help...and i try my sim to other phones and it worked..maybe its my phone?
I tried restarting phone, removing sim and putting it again, cleaning the sim and Nothing! i converted back to my stock ROM and i did the screenshot when i installed the X10S ROM.. I converted to Stock ROM still nothing...NEED HELP!
I have similar problem. Nothing help by me. Pls guys can someone help me.

Did you do anything in between that dat like bootloader unlocking??
If you didn't and it isn't working on every rom there might be hardware issue. Also check your baseband it should be. 71

Yeah i did something...my x10 just got bricked when i uninstalled a system app using titanium backup and it got brick...i unbricked it but i dont know what i did then voila it has no service..

And i did 3 or 2 times flashing to my stock se rom....
And Im just a newb to this kind of things..

my x10 firmware collection is stock roms only.
If stock roms wont work I have no other idea right now.
Phone your carrier or the original carrier. You need to change the motherboard to change an imei number. It's illegal in most countries so you'll need to check your country's laws.

Uh, I would recommend you to unlock your bootloader, and/or flash the v20. Or just reflash the rom.

I reflashed the rom many times..but nthng happen,.unlock bootloader will solve my problem,,or I have to repair wid seus,,.i have limited data plan..so pls tell d most appropriate option...thanx in advance..reply pls

Try to unlock it first and if the problem persists, repair it through seus (after locking it, and flashing the stock firmware)

Is your sim properly inserted in your phone? Try to insert it to another phone ad disable sim pin code

No I don't think that you are stupid. You are just a human, and it's the most right way to address a problem. Maybe the internal antenna has an issue?

nope itz not an hardware problem....i think i messed up with bootloader ...i locked my sim ..
Why you in, a first place, try to relock bootloader?? Did you try to unlock again?
You should ask this question to Androxyde thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=10738287 because he is most competitive for this problem.

I faced the same problem as yours...mine is Xperia Sola.After flashing an experimental CM9 based rom,touchscreen and touch buttons failed to function.I flashed back stock ICS ftf but even then it didn't work.Then i flashed stock GB firmware and voila-touchscreen functionality restored.

Thank you! I tried. failed. I've tried a lot of things. I do not understand what could be the problem. under repair.
Last Night i updating my Sony Xperia Neo V with doom lord's flash tool but, completion of 99% my laptop was shutdown so its not able to complete installation please check the image ang give me proper solution i already ask to service center but they not able to solve that problems u were my last hops.....

is your mobile rooted & unlocked ... with flashtool are you flashing ftf of kernel, clear explanation
If I'm not wrong, you should still be able to flash stock gb or ics via flashtool.
This means that if you're looking for a way to get your data back, you probably won't be able to...

Happened with me too...just download any kernel with a recovery..(you'll find one in custom rom's zips) flash it and wipe everything you can except for your sdcard. Then flash the firmware you want to have via flashtool
or repair phone with official Sony software

we can use different firmware to root phone i didn't unlock my phone normally
i prefer xda guide but now i tried every thing my phone not even starting so i m not able to install any other firmware because if u want to install another firmware u r phone should be in working condition. please suggest me some way i tried to sony service center but even they also dont have solution, they told me that i have to replace main bord and it will cast 80% of my phone. so please help me if anyone know how to solve this issue please tell me.

Download full firmware..turn off devices,press and hold back key.flash with flashtool.
