They are very fine, and by now you all know everything about it...so my question is, take it back?? Or live with it??
Also, is it going to worsen over time???
Plz help...
Live with it if you can. They don't worsen and your replacement might be worse.

Thanx man...and i guess you are right...who knows, the one next might be worst...i possibly can't ask the shop keeper to open all the boxes until i find the 'right one'. If there is such a thing that is...strangely, they are like Mr Hyde...vanishing during the day in thin air...

Luckily I am not...infact i just saw it yesterday after almost 9 days of buying it...my only fear is it shouldn't worsen...

My first device had very little spots, it was returned for a dead pixel. The second device had quite a bit more spots. Live with it if you can, if not then take it back and check the new phone out in the store closet before you leave.
I actually noticed a few spots just last night. I immediately made the decision not to care, since I've owned it for so long, and just now noticed it. PLUS I've gone through some pretty bad experiences with returns (6 different EVOs from Sprint each worse than the last).

Bad news- seems like there is one developing in the centre of the screen...now i am concerned...
They are like pimples on a youth face...come from nowhere, vanish in thin air...the older ones seem to fade slightly i think...hmm.

spots sounds okay, mine has bands running across it which looks like glue residue
My Razr Maxx has no spots or any other screen "defects" at all. And I have been trying to look for them since I first read posts about that, so it got me wondering on if that's something that was fixed with the Maxx version of the Razr. Are there any Maxx owners here with no screen defects at all?
That's good question that I would like to know as well!

I believe that means your battery is overheating. I think it happened to me on my og EVO once. I set my phone down turned it off came back later and it was all better!

Yeah..pretty common with some evo3d's..the battery isnt making good contact on the points..just put a little piece of cardboard or something between battery and the inner rim of the phone to help push the battery into the gold points of the phone..I had this problem and never seen it again after doing this.

LMAO go talk to Sprint and get a new phone. These so called "fixes" are the reason why manufacturers don't give a **** about quality products anymore, too many people settle with broken ****.
Oh and by the way, let's say his battery is overheating and he takes your advice; cardboard/paper catches fire... And he now has no phone.

pretty sure he can tell if his phone is over heating if he really wanted to..the cardboard is no where near where the battery connects to the points. So if it magically catches fire then I guess you would be right..As for the manufactures not caring about quality control sure I get your point. But thats not the point of the thread. He asked why its happining and there are only 2 ways it has ever happend to me.Over heating and/or battery not making good contact..Just offered a simple "fix" for the moment. If it doesn't fly with him then he can go waste his time getting a replacement that may very well do the same thing.
What kernel are you using? That can have an affect on it too

According to another thread, this phenomenon is known as "randomly sausage". (I really hope I'm not the only one that understands this)
Hello,
Of a similar bent, multiple times since I had a Refurbished 3D sent to me, the Battery has drained to zero whilst being plugged in to the Charger. This has primarily occurred when plugged into the Wall as opposed to say my Laptop. It happened again this Morning.
When I insert a different Battery, it seems to fix the problem and the 3D Charges as usual. However, this is one damn annoying issue.
Cheers,
JJ
When i put my razor down on the table if i press on one of the bottom corners it teeters left and right. Can others please check to see if your razor lays flat on the table or can you rock it back and forth if you press on one of the bottom corners??

My RAZR is lying flat. But I know it might be really bothering. Before that I owned motorola milestone - it had this problem. Can be really annoying, but I've managed to ignore this
Mine is flat as well, with and without case...
Absolutely flat.
Mines flat too...
flattest phone ever
Hey Dukel bro,
Mine is also as flat as it could be. Nice to see some familiar names here.
Same here. Flat!

Mine is ever so not flat, just a slight, slight wobble on the bottom left, but never noticed it before reading this and doesn't bother (will it now that I know ? Lol)

Was just at the store picking up a Icrap 5 for my wife. Tried it out and the phone is so boring. It seems like u still have the iPhone 4 but thats what she wanted. I checked out the S3 and that phone is so much better than the iPhone 5. If people only new.
OK he is the funny part! Two rather feminine guys walk in the store. And u know what I mean. One guy says to the other my friend has this phone it so disgustingly huge. (In a very feminine voice) . I knew right away what phone they were talking about. It was the Almighty Note. I felt like going up to them and bashing them with my phone. But did not want to damage my phone. Its just funny how people are so afraid of having a bigger screen.
Obviously they got excited when they say the iPhone 5.

Does anyone else have a dimple/dent that goes from the bottom of the rear camera to the AT&T logo? Its like a line dent.
Thanks
Nope

Thats the way it came.. I guess I could take it back to AT&T and have them pull out another one to compare and return it if the other one is not dented..
A guy at best buy said it had something to do with teh 0 space deign or something.. I think he was full of it..
I have a random dent/dimple on my HTC One on the right side of the back; I never dropped the phone or anything. It's my work phone so I'm not going to go jumping through hoops for a replacement because I have a case on it but if it was my personal device I'd be exchanging it in a heart beat.
I have strange, antenna like structures coming out of my One's earphone jack, and they seem to be watching me, spooky.

I had three of them around the camera. Looked like zits. I took it right back in to best buy and exchanged it. The new one doesn't have it. So if you got it I'd recommend an exchange.

I went to AT&T on the 15 th day thinking I had plenty of time. Guess I should've read the receipt. I was thinking I still had 30 days to return it,, Oh well. It's not that noticeable, but I know it's there, so it bothers me a little..
I know that swappa.com is used to sell phones, but I see I am not able to list phones that have a cracked screen.
Wanted to put it on XDA first, to see if anyone is interested for the phone with original box, 2 OEM Chargers and a diztronic matte black TPU case for $215 buyer pays whatever shipping they want. If not I will end up putting it on ebay.
This phone is unlocked, rooted, and S-OFF'd and currently running CM 10.1 23May2013 build.
See pictures. (NOTE: in one of the bootloader pictures I circled in blue where there is another crack, but not showing up)
Phone is still fully functional with the cracked screen.
If you have any questions please let me know/PM me.

I hear ya on that one. I have had numerous phones before and never cracked the screen. Since I had the DNA I have done it multiple times!
