I'm running miui and for some reason, cannot find the file of the tone that plays when you use the volume rocker to adjust the ringer volume. I CAN'T STAND THAT TONE. I've looked in system/media/audio/ui, and there IS a file called VolumeAdjust.ogg, but when I played it it didn't sound anything like the tone i normally hear. Disabled that file anyways and the original tone remains.

My prophet is not very loud..low ring tones ...is there a sound fix?
Try different ring tone would be help.
Mp3 files with the same level of sound as wav files are played a bit more quiet than wavs. So, use wav as ringtone
Hi Guys, in the volume settings i have the notification volume to the the max but when i have a massage the sound is too low, i try to put other sounds for a massage ( stock sounds ) but the sounds is too low also, i download some other sounds, i but them in the sd card, but i can't put them as notification sound, do you know how to put the downloaded sounds to play as notifications?! and if you know some cool sounds for notifications?!
Thanks.
If you look for a file called "Media" then in there are more files. One of them is "notifications" put your audio files there (you can copy the "media" to your "external_sd")

I would like to change the sound of each number on the numpad. I was able to find the media/audio/ui folder with a few .ogg and .mp3 files but none of which were the audio files for the touch tones. Can anyone tell me where the audio files are for the touch tone dialer sounds? You would be greatly appreciated
Hi,
Is anyone else finding that Touch Sounds (the clicking sound on pressing UI elements other then the keyboard) is far too quiet unless Notification volume is set on maximum (which conversley is far too loud for other sounds).
I have disabled Vibrate on touch and would like an an audible feedback as on my Nexus 4, but something seems wrong here.
Thanks
Yeah, even on a custom ROM (AICP), the system touch sound is connected to the notification volume, with no separate control.
The only solution I found was to edit the audio file (/system/media/audio/ui/Effect_Tick.ogg) with an audio editor and double its volume level.

I have a problem in the form of the ringtone volume, namely setting my own sound mp3 (music)
The phone sees the sound settings as a ringtone, but does not really respond to its volume in the ringing mode, only in the notification mode. In so describing, it simply does not work to adjust the ringer volume on its own on a custom setting.
Maybe someone had such a problem
P.S All phone system resets system settings checked
Same problem here, with default ones there's no issue.
