I use the Samsung official SGS2 Car dock with an audio cable to my car DVD sytem. When navigating with Google Maps and playing music the phone routes the audio to my car speakers. That's working good.
When I have an incoming call my ringtone comes over the speaker, but when I accept the call the voice is being routed over my phone-speakers.
Is there a custom ROM / mod / app who can fix this?
Bonus question: Why can't the SGS2 use the top 3.5 mm as a video output for my DVD player? Even the Nokia n95/n97 could do this. Anyone?
Thanks
Someone ? Thnx
Dont think anyone knows the answer right ?
Try to go into Bluetooth settings, there you can find all your authorized devices. Long tap on your car device will bring you into services list. Check or uncheck required services. Probably it will help you.
Hello,
i have the same problem.... some a answer for this?
only Calls over the internal speaker.. other sounds over the car-system.
hope some rom could fix this.
facing same prob.
i read somethink and some developers told that, the kernal must root the audio to the docking station.... its a app in the market for this, but its dosn`t work....
i think its the same problem like the galaxy 1...
Hey guys and girls;
im new to android dev and java but have managed to get most of the stuff i need/want working in my app, the last piece of the puzzle i am trying to get working is recording a line in input to some sort of audio file, the problem i have is i cant find ANYTHING on how i might go about this.
Can someone give me a bit of help as to how i can get this working? I am not asking for full source (although that would clearly be helpful...) but more some directions as to where i can start making this work by myself.
Thanks for any help that can be offered;
Andy
EDIT:: Sorry just to be clear, i dont want to record a phone call or anything, i want to record from an external audio source, so was planning on using the pseudo line in from the headphone jack

Hi,
I got a problem that my Samsung Galaxy S5 route all audio to earphones.
I would like to route all media to speaker and all phonecalls to headset (and if possible bluetooth).
I don't mind customizing ROM if needed.
Any idea how can I do that?
Thanks!
Help?
first: ask with understandable words. lol i don't know what are ur plans
i know this is really old but to anyone having these issues, install soundabout you can use it to force audio to a certain output for calls, media, ect really helps when your headphones start to break and android doesnt want to detect them even though they work
EDIT: I misunderstood the last post as a question. Didn't mean to repeat the same answer to an old thread.
Not really a full answer but I am currently having similar issues. There seem to be audio routing apps like Audio Router (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=audiomix.audiooutputsource) and SoundAbout (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix) than can do the job. I can't exactly tell how they work but maybe someone else knows. Or you'll figure it out.
Feel free to post your results
Have the same problem. But neither Audio Router (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ooutputsource) nor SoundAbout (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...oneroutingfix) can't route SMS notification away from headphones.
Sounds terrible. Most modern android smartphones are worse in this regard than ordinary simple cell-phones.
I wonder how things are in this regard in Windows Background.
