Anyone who can help me? are there otherways ore did i forgot something?
driver problem..
You need to press and hold "Volume Down" button for SK17i to enter flashmode (blue light indicates you are in flashmode different from fastboot).
I think blue light indicates fastboot mode, it is the green light that indicates flash mode.
It looks like you get into fastboot mode instead of flashmode. Yes, press and hold power button + volume down to get to flashmode. If you press volume up, it will get into fastboot mode instead.

Yeah my bad , green=flash mode (press and hold Volume down), blue=fastboot (press and hold Volume up).
Oh sorry, my bad too . You don't need to press power button to enter fastboot mode or flashmode. Just turn off the phone, press and hold volume up to get to fastboot mode or volume down to get to flashmode, and then plug the USB cable. Check the light if it's blue or green. Hope it helps...

everything is messed up here, press volume down while connecting, you will get green LED indication.

Hi guys,
I've flashed this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2250189 using flashtool and, despite the fact that flashtool didn't give me any error message, my phone doesn't turn on right now... When I press the power button, the LED flashes red just once if the charger is connected and nothing happens. The led also flashes briefly only once when the charger is being plugged in.
Here's the flashtool log, where everything appeared to be right:

Your flash seems to be right...
1. Try to plug the charger in different socket as it may be loose
2. Try different charger, as your charger pin may get loose
3. Settings reset
4. Uninstall any app that can control your led light ( like led notifications)
5. Wipe data and cache
6. Reset the phone and reflash...
Try doing this turn by turn

Your flash seems to be right - You mean the JB flash and not LED flash, right? The thing is that the LED doesn't stay on red - it just flashes briefly when the charger is connected or, if the charger is already connected, when I press the power button.
1. Try to plug the charger in different socket as it may be loose - I've tried charging both on the PC and with a wall charger
2. Try different charger, as your charger pin may get loose - I've tried charging both on the PC and with a wall charger
3. Settings reset - How can I do this is my phone is not powering on?
4. Uninstall any app that can control your led light ( like led notifications) - How can I do this is my phone is not powering on?
5. Wipe data and cache - How can I do this is my phone is not powering on?

Maybe my first post wasn't clear enough - my problem is not the LED itself: The problem is the phone is soft-bricked (it doesn't power on). Any help really appreciated...

if it can go to the flash mode, flash the rom again with uncheck 'wipe data' option (if you want to have your data)

Any help? I'm willing to try the rubber band method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37562298&postcount=301 on the Xperia P, but:
. for the Xperia P, shouldn't the rubber bands be placed both on the volume down and on the power button?
. since my phone appears not to be charging at all for a day straight connected to a USB port on the PC, is this method even worth a try?
Thanks in advance.
This can be used if you can't even turn off the phone...
You can try this with 2 bands...
And if your pc can't recognize tour phone, give another pc a try with all drivers

I think Battery is low or empty, or use different charger, different socket. And leave it for charging.. ..charge it for 1 hr. Then see.. I think led will come after it will fully charge.

I've left it charging for a day straight both on the PC with a USB cable AND with a wall charger... the LED doesn't stay ON.
The LED just lights up briefly (for about half a second) when:
. the charger is being plugged, OR
. if the charger is already plugged and I press the power button.
Any help?

I reckon that won't work because:
. Xperia P doesn't have a removable battery
. It would be an extreme coincidence for the battery to die precisely at the end of the flashtool upgrade process to JB, and not during or before.
Any help in order to bring this phone back to the living world?

Actually I do have some LED - it just doesn't stay on. So the phone isn't dead altogether, I guess.

Just try flashing THE older rom with wipe data and cache option...
Even if you don't get the led...
If the files are ready to flash in flashtool and phone is connected and recognized by it (even for a second), It will start flashing...
( When I flashed ics again over the modded jb without wipe data, I got the phone just stopped...)

you mean, with the rubber band method? 'Cause the phone currently isn't doing nothing when I press the volume down button and then plug the USB cable.

check in the flashtool...
led blink doesn't matter...
If your device is recognized in FT, it will flash...
otherwise you should go to the service center as a last remain option...

Service center isn't really an option since we used flashtool...
Hi All,
I have just discovered the realms of rooting and Android Roms, so I decided to get Cyanogenmod on my phone.
It went astoudingly well.
After some time, I started looking for other ROMS and I thought I'd have a try on pac-man rom.
Thus I downloaded the files and I followed the instructions (namely flashing boot.img through fastboot, factory reset and flashing Rom in CWM).
The only problem: the phone does not want to boot properly, it gets stuck on the boot animation and I can't get my device to boot in fastboot
After some searching, I came to the conlusion that I should flash stock firmware using flashtool (of which i'll append the log), BUT i accidentally flashed X10 firmware and when I try to connect it to my PC, it went straight into flash mode.
After charging my phone, I managed to flash the CM9 boot.img (with the fastboot console) and I get the right FreeXperiaProject logo, but I can't access recovery anymore and I think it's in a bootloop; every so often the screen gets dark, just to reveal the same logo afterwards.
Any possible solutions?
I will very greatly appreciate your help.

Download this https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B522s-mwpnl0NHVaaERrdGFJUUk/edit?pli=1 , unzip it and move the ftf file into flashtool/firmwares folder. After this, open flashtool and hit flashmode , select the rom and in exclude tab uncheck simlock if exists. Hit flash and connect the phone into flashmode

You need follow its instructions, connect it in flashmode
Press and hold "Volume up and power button" until phone turns off completely. Or use the off button close to the sim card tray. Once it's completely turned off, select the firmware in flashtool and press on flash. When flashtool ASKS you to connect, hold VOLUME DOWN button and connect to PC

Idk if this will help much but a similar case.
Edit: I see you're not putting the phone into flash mode. As others have said do that.if that isn't working try the previous version of flash tool,I've not tried the.20 version but I know the last one works.

Debugging must be ON, no?
Scrouz,
Did you ever get this fixed?
I had a similar problem (http://forum.xda-developers.com/z5-compact/help/e5803-boot-loop-t3422879). The problem you had here is the phone needs to be in USB debugging mode to use flashmode. The flash clears the USB debugging settting, though, so it's unavailable.
Not sure how to fix the problem... just wondering if you had any luck.
For use Flashtool, you don't need Usb debugging to be ON. Just use correct software, drivers (for model and Flaahmod drivers too) for your device and follow guide in the program.

Things that I have done so far:
1. Xperia Companion
Failed - trying to repair system using Xperia Companion
Cause - laptop unable to detect phone device for MTP USB Device (tested with 3 different cable and port)
2. Flash FTF firmware file via Flashtool
Flashtool
- using FlashTool64
- Version (0.9.18.2)
Firmware
- filename : Sony_Xperia_C5_Ultra_Dual_E5563_29.1.B.0.87_Customized_India.ftf
What I have done:
Internet connection - ON
Install Flashtool driver provided inside Flashtool folder
Run Flashtool and this happened

Then I continue by pressing thunder button and choosing the Flashmode instead of Fastboot mode
I select the right path of my firmware source folder and the FTF file selected automatically
Content show this filename:
system.sin

boot_delivery.xml
cache.sin

partition.sin
app_log.sin
Only on Wipe section, APPLOG + CACHE + DATA are tick automatically while the rest are not
Then I press the Flash button and I wait awhile until the popup window ask for a phone connection
After that I connect my phone on my laptop using Flashmode by pressing the VOLUME DOWN button

So, any help for me? :crying:
Today and again I trying to flash out the phone (phone condition still as before)
Going to nearest Cyber Cafe (for better internet connection) which I think there might be some problem with my laptop internet connection / firewall / antivirus
Flashtool - version 0.9.24.4 (latest version at this moment)
Firmware - download from flashtool itself (Xperifirm)
I install all the drivers on the list (which provided along with flashtool which inside the flashtool folder)
Run Flashtool (all data downloaded well from github) and choose the firmware
** I dont really remember which firmware version i used since i have around 4 different versions but i believe its from the one that I downloaded from Xperifirm
I select the right device in DEVICE FILTER
I choose 128k in USB BUFFER section
Flash the phone when requested
And all flash results was ok until the end, but got one ERROR - System.sin error **
I open the phone, blue wave animation around 5mins and Android update showing up
Then the phone working back
Nice ~
** there are not so much things that I can remember because I am thinking to change the path of .flashtool into my external HDD (File > Change User Home) and prompt box tell me to move all the .flashtool folder into my HDD. Then, even I move folder into HDD I cannot close the prompt box. So this is why I cannot remember which the firmware that im using and get the whole log results.
** i still cannot access into the phone to check which OS is it (Marshamallow? Lollipop?) because its asking password to unlock the phone and the phone is not mine (he still doesnt reply to my message which I requesting the phone password).
I dont know what the cause will be for the ERROR - System.sin error
hmm will see how it goes after I can access to the phone
Today Im able to access to the phone Setting,
Checked the OS was Marshamallow and the firmware used 29.2.B.0.129
No problem happen so far..
So I wanna thank to
Androxyde - for the awesome flashtool
Xperifirm - for the firmware
XdaForum - some of the guide thread around Sony Xperia C5 Ultra section
I've been having the same issues with my c5-dual, i was able to repair it using Xperia companion but after a successful repair and use for over a week, it freezes again and stays at the blue wavy Xperia animation forever. this has happened like 3 times over. Please does anyone have any long lasting solution?
