[Q] Modern Combat 3 error - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I got excited in the morning when I read that MC3 is free on Samsung Apps. Downloaded the game, shut off wifi, launched...and this was displayed ''you do not have enough available space on your memory card to install the game. You need to delete 1656 MB from your applications (videos, images). '' I'm on 2.3.5, stock rom, kernel - I9100XWKJ1. I got 2. 43 GB free and after downloading nearly 800MB (all the game files) it failes to start. Btw, when I login to wifi it loads. When I disable it, it gives me this error. Is there a work-around? I searched but I haven't found anything... Why would MC3 require an internet connection when MC2 works perfectly offline ? To retrieve the license? I have no idea, but what licence whould I need since both MC2 and MC3 were from Samsung Apps (free), not cracked apks ?

I think it's just to make sure you purchased it through the samsung app store. I did that, but mine is saying it's not compatible with my device. I have the AT&T GS II. MC2 works fine though.

[Q] Game Hub HD Games Download Failing?

Hi guys
Has anyone else got the issue that if they try to download any of the HD games from the game hub from gameloft (e.g. Shrek Kart, NOVA) then it gets to around 6% then fails?
Also had this problem with other APKs that download a cache onto the "SD card" where it won't download it.
Just me?
boch501
I had it with Modern Combat 2 HD, purchased from the Android Market, eventually after about 50 tries it slowly downloaded all the data. I think Gameloft need to increase their server capacity considerably... I've not had this problem with other apps.
Keep trying?
i had a similar problem downloading nova - the first time it failed
on my second attempt i kept touching the screen at regular intervals to prevent it turning off and it downloaded and installed fine
could be to do with the system going into low power sleep time mode? or maybe it was just a coincidence

All gameloft games not supported

Hello I have a GT-I9100P (Orange) with a 2.3.4 gingerbread official (not rooted , no cyanogen) and every single gameloft game does not work , when i launch either modern combat or nova or 9mm or asphalt any game from gameloft it says that my device is not supported , and i dont know what to do.
It seems that Gameloft doesn't know, what GT-I9100P (Orange) is. Can you download it from market?
nope either does not show up in search or says incompatible.
I had problem with gameloft games too. I tried to install Let's Golf 3, but i couldn't find it on market from phone. I found games instalation file and could install and run it. I also have rooted my phone and installed CyanogenMod7. So this does not seem the same problem.
well the only game i got working is modern combat 3 , I had to root my phone then use titan backup to make the game launch in offline mode only. So the check dissapears and I get to play the single player portion of the game , though i cant find similar methods to other games.
Try if this works:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20904858
first backup, because phone might not boot up, because of wrong values.
There is also link to my post. Thy your luck
Open /system/build.prop
Search for "checkjni", change value to 0. This applies for modern Combat and Google Earth and probably many other apps
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
there is no such line in the file , should i create that line?
Have you tried downloading the games directly from Gameloft website?
I couldn't find Let's Golf 3 on Market, but I went to its website and now I've got it installed and running on my SGS2.
I tried but the gameloft does not support the phone model so i cant get passed that screen , BUT yesterday I installed ICS and all gameloft games worked , probably because after flashing the build.prop was changes ( i dont actually now i just think that it did) but i didnt like that some functions dont work so i reflashed back to stock , so the games stopped working , so im thinking if i find what to do in the build.prop file , i would be able to play gameloft games.
See if change ro.product.model= line in build.prop to GT-I9100 helps.
got it resolved , flashed cyanogenmod 9 to my phone , now all games work fine.

[Q&A] [SOLVED] EA Games 5002 Error

Hallo.
Today i had the "Server Error 5002" after i installed the game EA NBA JAM.
If you google or browse this forum you see that there are a lot of people with that problem. That's why i start an new topic.
EA offered a workaround (copying data from another device) but there were also some users who just changed the displayresolution.
Yesterday i installed a new NXT ROM (Android 4.0.4) with that navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
I detected that this bar needs 10 pixels, so the resolution used by apps was only 480x844.
SOLUTION: When i disabled the bar, i had 480x854 and then i the Server Error 5002 did not accure anymore!
Thanks for that!
Monopoly + nexus 4... i was in fullscreen mode with paranoid droid rom and i switched off the expanded desktop i manage to download the files
Thanks alot for this fix mate!
This method really helps. Thanks.
could not download nxt Rom and run the game
Yesterday I download nba jam but I am having the error 5002 also I am not able to download nxt rom please please help me......
Solution to "Server Error" 5002 5003 problems on some EA Games!

Seems that it's a good time to revive such an old thread. Maybe it can help some people out there still facing these kind of problems, like me.
Today i wanted to try EA Dead Space on my Redmi 4X phone. I had bought it from playstore a long time ago and played a bit on my older devices. But this time it gave a server error 5003 when i launched it on my Redmi 4x (SD435, 1280*720p) running on MIUI8.5 Marshmallow. So it couldn't download additional required game data and i had to quit game.
While searching about this error, i found a solution which helped me right away. Thus i want to share it here for other users which may encounter similar issues on several EA Games like The Sims, FIFA 12, NBA Jam, NFS Most Wanted, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Real Racing etc.
1) Turn OFF your wi-fi and open the game. (IMPORTANT: Do NOT launch the game when your WiFi is already active!)
2) In game it will ask you to connect to wifi or 3g (or something like that) or cancel it. YOU MUST CONNECT TO WI-FI.
3) When you press the wi-fi button it will redirect you to your wi-fi tab in settings. So open your wi-fi and press several times BACK until you go back to the game! ( DON'T PRESS THE HOME BUTTON!!!!!!)
4) When you'll be back in game it should automatically pop a window which says if you really want to download the game and the space it requires. PRESS DOWNLOAD.
5) Let your game download the data.
6) Have fun playing the game.
The original post can be seen in the link below, I just edited a little, thanks to @eXezeSt :

This method solved my server error 5003 problem for Dead Space on my Redmi 4X. But similar problems might also be solved by:
1) Previously downloading and locating game data in the right folder, before launching the game (Alternative to EA servers).
2) Tampering with screen resolutions.
Good luck to all.
PS: Unfortunately, Dead Space has a very serious buzzing sound (noisy static audio) problem in newer android versions since Lollipop, but that's another issue:
"The Android version has been discontinued for newer devices and renamed zzSunset Dead Spaceā„¢, however, newer devices running Android Lollipop can run into major problems with audio."

[Q] Unable to download certain games.

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy I8190L.
When ever I try to download certain games from the store, it shows this message "This item cannot be installed on your device." however my wife has the same phone and she was able to download the game that Im looking for which is Plants vs Zombies 2.
I have disabled Localization for Google apps and ads and yet when I go into the Store, I keep on getting the message.
So after several failed tries, I used App2SD and extracted the .apk into my phone but It wont download showing that it wont find enough resources.
Any help?
Thanks in Advanced.

Maplestory live deluxe

Been trying to figure out how to make this apk run on my andriod phone. It has an offline and online feature but the developers stopped supporting it. I used to play along back then but when I got a new phone I wanted to play it again, only problem is when I get a apk file (Maplestory live deluxe is not on the play store anymore) it gives me a Licences error. So I find a way around that but then it says checking for updates then proceeded to say internet connection is slow please restart the game. It gets stuck in this loop. Ofc my internet connect is not slow and I tried using different wifis and mobile data. So now im stuck. Maybe I need OBB data? But cannot find it anywhere.
Other maplestory apps
I also tried to play the old maplestory app called maplestory thief edition and maplestory Cygnus knight edition. They both are offline and you can download them but the only problem with those is the English version disappeared. They are only in Korean.
