[Q] Android4(ics) on Razr 651.73.240.XT910.Vivo.en.BR - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hello All,
I'm trying to locate a update of my Android 2.3.5, version 651.73.240.XT910.Vivo.en.BR but I cant find yet.
Anybody here have, or know how I can find this update, if exists?
Thanks in advance,
Rogerio

It does not work with LATIN AMERICA devices (like ours), because the LEAKED update is just for EUROPE.
You should update to 651.73.2062.XT910.Vivo.en.BR if you want the latest official version for your phone.
And then you can try the ARCTIC ROM if you want something different than stock.
I highly suggest you update to 2062 and wait for official updates.
We are talking about Vivo's phone on this thread, here

Android 2.3.5 ----- Blur_Version.651.73.30.XT910.Retail.en.EU

hey guys,
can anyone tell me if Android 2.3.5 ----- Blur_Version.651.73.30.XT910.Retail.en.EU is the latest for uk?
what i'm trying to ask is i'm from australia and due to some issues i have flashed to the UK version.
on my AUS version i got an OTA which improves camera and gave a game bewjeweled 2.
however on the UK i have there are no updates, so does that mean i either already have it? or ota is not available for UK yet?
thanks!
I'm in the UK with a SIM free Razr and that is the newest version that is available OTA for me
It's the latest official EU non branded firmware, yup.

[Q] Upgrading to EU from Asia ROM 2.3.5

Hi guys,
I've just got my Razr and I'm new to this forum. Up till now I used to own an HTC Desire, so I am fairly familiar with the Android ROM flashing process. However, there are some differences with the Razr, so I am asking you for advice in order not to mess things at such an earlier point.
Basically, what I want to know is this: I've got a phone with a 65.1.12.XT910.PSHAAsiaRetail.en.03 system version. I would like to move to an EU firmware, if possible - found the EternityProject page and got this 651.167.20 RETAIL en.EU EuropeAustraliaEMEA. Should I flash it with with RSD before applying the OTA update Blur_Version.999.999.999.Retail.en.EU (Ice Cream Sandwich)?
Actually, should I install the ICS OTA at all, or stick with a 2.3.7?
Thanks!

Are GSM RAZR OTA ICS updates for all Versions Out?

Hello,
I'm currently on 651.167.22.XT910.Retail.en.FR and I don't seem to be getting the official OTA update. I though it was out for all the regions. Any suggestions? Thanks
Regards
Mustafa
Have the exact same version and still no update here as well.
Is there a leak that I can use for this version? Getting tired of waiting...
There is 672.180.33 that can be flashed via RSDLite and then you can use an OTA from SD to update to 676.blah,blah.
ICS is only out for Verizon, I am not aware of any official update rolling out in Europe.
Thanks Szadzik. I guess all the European ROMS floating around are simply leaksI Thanks again

[Q] Help required for Noob!!!!

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and new to android world.
I have purchased unlocked Optus Samsung Galaxy S2 (I9100) from Australia and currenlty i am using it in India with Airtel. My mobile is installed with ICS 4.0.4.
I want Offical Jelly Bean firmware in my mobile.
Can i install Official Jelly Bean Rom released in SPAIN? Will it lock the the mobile after i install this ROM?
Or If i need to wait for Jellybean to realese in my region, Did i able to update Australian Version or Indian Version of Jellybean ROM or only the OPTUS version of ROM through Samsung Kies?
Please help me on this request.
Thanks,
Arun Panneerselvam
yes, you can install the jellybean from spain and no it will not lock your phone.
The choice is up to you. You try one of the custom roms on this site or wait for an official version through kies.
Updating kies may not happen this year because the roll out for jelly bean wil be uneven, no one knows what countries will get and when or if they will get jellybean at all.
Before installing you have to root your device,
then check and search on internet for your original rom (it could be useful if you need to send it to assistance in warranty)
If the phone is branded usually official updates came from carriers ,and often they need more time to release update after the unbranded is released since they want to put on it their customizations

What the devil are you talking about? You don't need to root in order to install the stock Samsung Jelly Bean firmware.

Need suggestion about android version

Hello everyone!
I have recently ordered a verizon motorola droid xt912 to use in a europe GSM network. It will have pre installed stock 2.3.5. Since I need to update it to ICS or later for GSM use I want you guys to suggest me whether I should update to latest JB update 4.1.2 or go to ICS because I am afraid of going to JB because I have seen some people have issues with it.

Dude 4.1.2 is totally fine for use. Even 4.2.2 is out. Always go for the latest android version to enjoy the latest features.
