Okay, I have tried every music player on the market and I do not want to use any of them. I have a samsung galaxy s2 and I want to use the stop player so I can have the default lockscreen controls/notification controls. The problem is, the equalizer sucks. But whenever I try to Download new ones, they only work with m4a files? Can someone please tell me why? Or a fix? I cant seem to figure it out.

Hi Y'all!
I don't know if I posted this in the right section, please move if it's wrong.
We all know the lack of features in the stock music player and I was wondering if someone can mod it so it adds shuffle and repeat (all and current)?
I don't want another music player because I don't like the looks of them.
P.S I'm rooted
Regards
Please, can someone edit this .apk so the albumart isn't messed up? Please

it is totally senseless to modify the SE-Musicplayer, because there are thousends which are better on the market...
no one will do this, seriosly.
Try Mootplayer, Poweramp, Winamp, Muffin Player, tunewiki...all are much better then the stock-app.
Hi guys, I am a Galaxy Ace user that happens to be suffering of a stressful issue with my music, so here it is:
This morning music was playing absolutly fine on my phone, I cant remember but after a reboot, my phone isnt finding any of my music files, though i could play them from my file manager, still they wont appear on any of my music players...I have tried the default player, google's music player and even MixZing player but didnt work...any suggestions guys?

You can't seem to figure out not to double-post, either.
On my Atrix, whenever I use jokersax CM9 or AOKP, every time my phone reboots, my music duplicates. I use my phone alot for music and have over 600 songs on it, so this is becoming a problem. Is it just me having this problem, or are there others too. Does anyone know a fix?
Me too... i only have around 90 songs in my phone and now in my music player its 300+++ songs!
The thing is the songs are not physically there, when u try to play it it wont play and player skips it!
How do we fix this issue?
I don´t really know what to do with the stock player to fix that. If you´re using Poweramp, which i highly recommend, this happens because at default settings it scans folder in more than one mount point and being so, it ends up with duplicated information. To fix, it´s just a matter of going into settings and select which folders are to be scanned.
Hope that helps...
Try pulling stock MIUI music player from my latest build and use that. If the Music apk is borking, this may work well. It's a pretty nice player, too
Try using stock player from a blur rom, i dont have that issue.
Hello,
So recently I rooted my Galaxy S2 and I was on resurrection remix rom and now i've got onto cyanogenmod 10.1 nightlies. so far so good. am hiigh on android
The only problem or issue ive faced so far is the music player, ive got to admit theres nothing like the samsung touchwiz music player.
If you guys would kindly help me out here...
ive tried a ton of music players but every single music player manages to detect ringtones and other sounds including my music, which btw the samsung music player never did.
recently i found this music player that had this option where i add only files above 2mb or likewise but i really dont remember which player that was, do any of you know it?
a newbie here so go easy and suggestions or recommendations would be highly appreciated
thanks a million in advance

Most players have that option. Anyway poweramp is the best music player out there. If you cant buy that use N7 player which is also good. You can select your music folders with both of these apps
2nd PowerAmp, tried a fair few others but nothing came close. Had high hopes for Apollo, but not for me.
