[REQ] a good webOS forum app

I have to use CM7 to use the XDA app. But, if webOS had a good, free forum viewing app, that'd be awesome.
If there is one, please link me to it. I would be very grateful as I haven't been able to find one.
The communities app in the HP market does what you want. You can also access the forums through precentral.

Key word in my post was free, and Communities isn't free. I can't buy apps, my parents don't see the point, so I can't get it.

In that case, pick up webos roundup from the market (it is free) and there is a forum app there for the webos forums. Hope that helps

I looked just now, and that isn't what I want at all, thanks for trying though. Which leads to the original purpose of the thread. Requesting a free forum viewing app. I'd like to be able to check XDA, Rootwiki, etc from my TP on webOS.
My problem being I have no way to purchase apps from anywhere. I don't care if it has ads or not either.
I just bookmarked the XDA website with the WebOs browser and go to xda that way.
+1 for bookmarking in WebOs. I have all the forums I visit in bookmarks, works great in the browser. I have zero issues with XDA in WebOs.

I was able to buy the app Communities.
Problem with bookmarking, is XDA would continuously reload on me, so I would keep getting logged out. Was frustrating not being able to be in webOS and properly check my forums.

Its a borderline generic tablet. Did u expect there to be devs on this working night and day? Not tryna be rude just saying. They are nice tabs for the price i might add.

Slatedroid.com has a pretty active pandigital Modding community. They don't currently have a specific section for the star, but if you search for it you'll find discussion of the device and there are tools there made for similar pandigital devices that seem to work on the star. Good luck!
Thanks for the help both of you and yes I like it very much. And I am a developer and not at all new to android systems. Also I didnt expect anyone to be working on it at all even I was just asking.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A

Opinion please. New note user coming from GSIII

Hello everyone. I am coming from the GSIII because I love this screen size. My question is I am running ParanoidAndroid and I really like it but I don't like a few things about file transfering and stuff.
My question is does anyone want to recommend the fastest/stable debloated from around these parts?
Thanks will be given! Thank you!

As far as aosp/cm9/cm10, you need to try those all out to see what runs best on your phone; but, if you want stock look/features, the above mentioned 2 are probably the best
As well you can read through the last half dozen threads that are exactly the same, and see what was recommended to those members. A little bit of reading will go a long way and there's plenty of information around here.
I read a lot on here, contribute a lot on here and just wanted a personal OPINIONATED thread to myself so o can keep track and talk about likes versus dislikes. Thank you though.

I think that second one looks solid. The paranoid android is awesome but the transfer is horrible and i use that a lot. :/

Hey gents, While browsing the rest of the forums I spotted this. I'm currently downloading it and from the counter looks like I'm the first so thought I would share it.
I'm going to PM the Dev and ask him to open a thread for us on here
Of course all credit goes to DerTeufel1980 but if you do like please feel free to thank me for the link

Unfortunately the Dev doesn't have time to support a thread here so this link will have to do.
Looks like it has quite a bit of potential though and a well supported ROM so if you have any questions or problems just use the original thread in the link.

Thanks for posting this man, wouldn't have noticed it without you.
Looks like it has a lot of potential, never seen so many comments and thanks to a developer like that one, hope it starts running smoothly soon, I've been having problems with it but he's very quick to reply to the comments we make.
