If you think about it.... Best buy is offering the case and $50 most likely because people will not get them early and that's their way of keeping up with att sending them out on the 17th

Best Buy can not release them before the 19th because of their contract to sell AT&T phones I don't think their system will allow them to be sold (the stock may come in on the 17th but their system has no way to sell the inventory until the 19th when the system is updated) as far as the gift card this is going on til the end of the year on any carrier and if successful I'm pretty sure they will run it through 2013
I went there yesterday to preorder and see if they could get it to me by the 17th and they said no it still would be on the 19th.

I can confirm we will not.be opening early. I'm not working but I know we aren't. Its not a huge release. We didn't even open early for the 4s. I'm cutting my Mardi gras trip a day short to go in and get it launch day LOL and taking Monday off to play with it

Unfortunately, I am not eligible for upgrade until Thursday, meaning I am missing out on all of these great deals on the SGS2. I want to get one as soon as I am eligible but I was just wondering if anyone knew of any sales on the phone in early to mid December?
The regular price at my local Walmart (which is where I would probably upgrade if I can't find it cheaper elsewhere) is $150 so any sales that lowers the price below that would be great and I would be willing to wait a bit longer for a better price on the phone.
So...anyone heard of any deals that don't end before the 1st or start soon after?

Amazon has this phone for .01 till monday. You have to add a line to get the price but you could just drop your other line on thr when the contract is up.

I did complain when it was a month early and they did allow me to upgrade early. However, they said it was IMPOSSIBLE to change my official upgrade date and all they can do is notate the account that an early upgrade has been approved. Meaning, if I go to Walmart, Radio Shack, etc they will still just see my December 1st upgrade date and won't let me upgrade.
In sum, I CAN upgrade, but only at the AT&T store or over the phone with AT&T. So, if they drop their price I can upgrade early but I would rather pay $150 in a few days than pay $200 now.

Actually I just checked their ad online and from Nov 27-Dec 3rd the phone is $100 and you get a $100 gift card with purchase. I will be there on the 1st!

Bad news for me
Well I got some bad news today...my actual upgrade date is December 6th, but two AT&T reps told me that upgrades go by month and not by specific day, so they told me I could actually upgrade at any major retailer as early as December 1st.
So, I was counting on that deal at Wal-Mart but when I called them to double check that I could upgrade on the 1st I was told that I could not upgrade any earlier than the 6th and that I was misinformed.
So, if anyone hears of any deals that are still going to be valid on the 6th please post it.

Walmart online is not Walmart. Its another company that works with them called LetsTalk Inc.
The brick and mortar stores have the phone for 98.88
I ended up getting one from sams for 96 cents. think today is the last day for it. Also the activation is refunded to you after 30 days.

I ordered in store and was told an email would go out when it is ready for pick up. I called the store yesterday in the hopes that I could pick it up early... They have the Gnote but will not be releasing any until Sunday. ARGH!! I want my note. LOL

Just came back from Best Buy Mobile they told me the shipment was in and my Note was there but I can't pick it up til Sunday wich I am fine with as long as I get my free case and $50 bucks off and don't have to wait til Tues
this doesn't make sense to me. AT&T and Best Buy get their phones at the same time yet we have to wait until after it's available at the stores and those who ordered from AT&T already got theirs. At least ship it so I get it the same day it's available at the store.
You people are acting like this is a huge surprise that they won't let you get it now. We have a CONTRACT with At&t to not sell until Sunday. You all knew this when You preordered. To the people complaining about them not shipping in Sunday, well looks like YOU made the dumb decision to not just go pick it up in stores.

I'm glad I ordered through Best Buy... I just went to an AT&T store during lunch to ask if they have received any Notes in yet because I wanted to see one just to see how big it actually was. I haven't held one yet, just have seen pictures. I saw a rep walking toward me and I asked him if they had received any yet and he said no, to which I said that it surprised me... He then told me that it was supposed to be released this spring! I, rather sarcastically, replied that it was going to be released on Sunday, then walked out the door.
Really? You're supposed to support a device as big, and NOTEworthy (pun intended) as this and you don't even know when it's going to be released?!

Yeah its actually really sad..I pre ordered at a sprint corp. store and they dont have their shipment in and they do not see a shipment in route in their system.
Meanwhile Best Buy is getting them in stores and getting it to their customers as soon as they arrive..So much for me thinking going to a Sprint Corporate store was a good idea...How did they go from a May 18th release date(in store) to being back order and only fulfilling online pre orders....Prob. because they kept taking pre orders throught the beginning of all the FTC Bull S**t

My wife wanted the phone and we had one waiting for her at a corporate store. Just walked into best buy to BS around. Guy said he had them stocked for preorder, but had more devices than preorders.
Said to do preorder and I may get one today. So I did the preorder, walked around store and got email stating it was confirmed, then not 5 minutes more of walking around I got email saying it was ready to be picked up. Told him I got email and it was a done deal. Walked out with it.
No one that preordered from there hadn't come to pick theirs up yet. She was first person to get from that particular store.

Inventory allowing... pre orders made before 5/21 are hitting stores today and tomm. If you pre ordered after the 21st you will get next shipment. Noone is able to walk in and buy... So your pre order is being fulfilled in order it was placed... What's the problem?

I preordered mine late in the day around 8pm on 9/7/13 at best buy in California.
The guy told me they were open for preorders the day before but I was still the first one to preorder.
They had papers lying around everywhere so everyone knew they were taking preorders and had a samsung rep answering questions.
I just called my local Best Buy. Rep said I could put $50 down towards the purchase price as a pre-order, but he had no launch date. Apparently Utah's Best Buys know something they don't here. Nothing new. We're the last to know in the South

Ha..that's why i asked for a Samsung rep! 4 of the 5 best buyers didn't have an answer, one even said sometime end of oct!
the one rep actually looked at 2 different systems for me and said the same oct 4th...
i sure hope so!
The Sprint Note 3 has a street date of October 4th. None of the other ones have been determined so far. That also doesn't guarantee that best buy will have it that soon for Sprint but just means they are sellable on the 4th for Sprint.

If the employees you guys have talked to bothered reading the whole articles they send out to us they would know that the new information yesterday about the 4th only pertained to the sprint version.

changed the urls from a different product w/ the note3 sku, and none are available in my area
Went and played with the AT&T GN3 at BestBuy on Friday, it surprisingly felt smaller in hand than the GN2 (coming from a GNex). The Samsung guy there, Charlotte NC, was sticking to the 10th for Vz.
I pre-ordered from BestBuy so hopefully they receive it on the 10th.

CSR's are STILL unable to tell me if the device will launch tomorrow at their stores. I did not pre-order as I am unsure whether or not i'll keep it; they return the $50.00 preorder fee as a gift card, (which I have no use for). Even BB chat was unable to provide any reassurance anybody care to shed light?
