just one question why to use the default .62 kernel, I mean why not use a modified kernel with it ???
Though its fast with the normal kernel still what's the diff ???

This version is for locker bootloader, so it is no posibble flash kernel with flashboot but if you have a custom kernel its not problem
The kernel in this post is a original stock kernel for mw 62.
Include cwm push volumen keys and
romk0la lock bootloader is the same as romk0la unlock bootloader

1. Flash Froyo Radio, if you don't have it yer
2. Do a NANDROID Backup
3. Wipe Data +cache
4. Flash ROM
5. Reboot
How-To
Move Apps to SD card:
Open Spare Parts , click on App2sd and select:
- SDcard (/sdcard )
- Internal ( data/app )
- Auto
This will also have effect on installations from the Market.
To move apps from phone-to-sdcard/sdcard-to-phone, goto Settings/Applications/Manage, select an app and click "Move" button.
Important: Do not put keyboards, launchers, widgets or root apps on the sdcard!
Move Apps to SD card {Ext way} :
a2sd check <- A2sd diagnostic, to see possible problems and config
a2sd install <- Install App2sd and move all apps to SD
a2sd remove <- Remove Apps2sd and move all App to Internal Storage
a2sd nocache <- Move Dalvik Cache to /data
a2sd cachepart <- Move Dalvik Cache to /cache Sposta Dalvik-cache in /cache
a2sd cachesd <- Move dalvik cache to /sd

If you create a text file called install.cfg in /sdcard/android/androidlab/ it will be checked during install for the following flags.
Simply type any combination of these flags, each flag on a new line, into the install.cfg file and save it.
noapps - do not install additional Kang-o-rama apps, limit Google apps to basics (see this helpful post by fiftyclick).
launcher2 - will replace ADW.Launcher with Google Launcher2
stockdialer - will replace the phone and contacts mod with the stock apps
nocar - will not install the Car Dock applications
sysapps - will install any apks you leave in /sdcard/android/androidlab/system/ to the /system partition

this one is a close copy of rodriguez style...stop copying them and make one nice froyo rom with all devs combined.
code isnt going to be released soon so might as well work together.
there arent any big framework changes in this or kernal changes
so why bother?

Does it have to or can it just stay hidden since all your doing is using someone else copy/pasted "rom" and just adding apps. Plus isn't quick office a warez or doesn't XDA care any more?

Yes mate, senseless not AOSP.
Senseless means no HTC rosie home launcher, htc widgets, idlescreen, etc while other htc customizations remain Slate themed.
To answer a call, simply drag the lockbar down or up to dismiss.

Simply rename /system/app/HTCLockScreen.apk to something else or freeze it using TitaniumBackup & u will get stock AOSP lockscreen.
+1 waiting hopefully this rom supports dualcore and nothing wrong with it.

zip file is enough. md5 file is to check file integrity. just to make sure the rom file u just downloaded is not corrupted.

Through S2E we configure ext3 options and with freespace we control the space ofeach partition, the default is already active but it is advisable to follow these step; by default all apps are installed in ext3/ext4.
1. Execute S2E and grant user privileges

It will be awesome no doubt. The previous anikings/romkolas were one of the top class ROMS. You can go ahead without doubt Anyway I am downloading now, after flashing will give a quick review for NEO V. If things go fine, will use this, coz my phone is not botting form emman's
One thing i hate in stock ROM and mods is after sending SMS, the balance that pops up makes a notification noice as if an sms came. I just hate it.

Quick Review:
- No default APN, you need to add.
- Auto Brightness works fine and is quick
- Hotspot working fine
- nice amount of RAM available
- Wifi, Radio, FM, Bravia, xLoud all fine
- Latest TrackID working fine
- GPS is good
- LED brightness is good
- Battery is good, reduced CPU from 1.6 to 1.0 and battery is even more better
- gtalk not present (links posted above)
- both cameras working fine
All in all a very smooth ROM and one can stick to it for a long time

no theme chooser.. neither sony's nor CM's.

I have 8gb class 4 sd card. can i go for it?
as this rom is using sd-ext partition by default, i think one should have a good quality of sd card (class 6 or class 10) for proper speed.
I am using EASYUS partition master for partitioning sd card which is unable to create ext4. so i have the only option of ext3.
Is sd partitioning option is included in marckernel for ext4?
Question from indian people:
some shops in Gurgaon says that class 6 0r 10 sd card is not available in India. is it true? if available -- of which make? Thanks in advance if anyone clears my doubts.

SD card will allways be slower than NAND, os You'll have to test it probably...

Marckernel is using temporarily Doomlord,s CWM, and this doesn,t allow ext4 partitions.

by the way, small request to u thedr0idboy/everyone, can you help me or pm me with a tweak to disable the notification sound for the sms balance popup that comes after sending every sms. It doesn't make sound in case of CM7 ROMs.

It depends of your operating system. For example, I have Linux OS and I use gparted to partition my sd card.

Instructions:
- unlock your bootloader
- baseband 72 (recomended)
- latest ICS kernel by Night-Elf (experimental is recommended)

- reboot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, wipe caches

Thanks to igogold for detecting this issue
Some neo user may having issue installing the rom, something like this;

Thanks to igogold for detecting/realize this as he mention here; that due to the size of the rom, around 312Mb on system partition, was too large for neo phone, which have only 312Mb system partition.
Solution
An easy way is to get the trimmed version by igogold, please refer to his post here.
The rom need to be trim/slim so it will fit neo system partition. Keep another copy of the rom in a safe place (backup). Refer to the list below, delete those apk files from the rom. Then u can proceed with the installation.

Recommendations
1. If you use Extreme kernel use the Market Fix app provided if you have any play store Issues.
2. After first boot allow the device to be on for about 5 minutes then reboot (this is so init.d scripts can do their jobs).
3. Upon boot go to Settings>Applications>Running Services and Force Stop/Kill everything apart from settings and keyboard,
this is to remove the unnecessary background processes and is safe as the killed processes.
are cached and will resume when necessary i.e This will not kill your lockscreen, neither will it stop its notifications from functioning. (don't do it with an Task Killer)

Yeah I thought that would be the case, because original binaries (from ROM) were in the zip and these had issues :/
I have universal binary for next release, I tested it aswell.
For now I'm reinstalling windows.

I might release B2 today if windows decides to install quicker because I'm reinstalling OS.
Edit: if anyone has issues with short battery life then it is useful to say that this Rom Is constantly seeding to dev/urandom.
To stop this you can remove the init.d script which begins with 08, named AggressiveEntropy.

Actually forget about it, I found a new compression method which maybe could combine with one I'm currently using, I dunno, it will take long to optimize but I might cut another 12-15mb without removing anything again.
Edit : Cancelling it - compression goes well and apps are smaller but RAM usage is quite bad after this.
+ODEXED to save space in /data
Edit 2 : Have to rebuild next update due to many issues I'm having such as no lockscreen and voice recorder FC. (as well as mysterious lag and lack of RAM.)
Test build for Atomic GB 7.1 B2 released (may not have full changes from changelog). Check the folders in downloads.
Market fix is for Extremekernel users (recommended).
Report any abnormalities/bugs please.
Edit : Haven't tested with TWRP yet due that I just fixed an urgent error (had a SU binary error which I posted in Q&A section, fixed by changing updater-binary).
Someone please report with TWRP.
Edit 2 : Seems like no lockscreen - possibly an ODEX issue since I reoptimized apps after ODEXing.
Edit 3 : Fixed all the minor bugs occuring, ROM is probably STABLE now - will upload fixed version soon.
Releasing the next build probably now unless I find any bugs - been lightly tested and should work fine.
Recommended Kernel (Extreme Kernel r3 (480p)
Market fix included if you have problems with Extreme Kernel (it has a small cache size and refuses to download big apps from play store).

That's an update-script error.
The thing I did before uploading was changing the update-script, but didn't test it since it was the only thing and the ui-print or simply text you get in recovery was the only difference.
I must've forgot a comma or made a line too long or something of this sort.
I'm gonna check tomorrow after I get back from school but you can just use the old update-script, sorry for that.
I guess I need to wait more, I tend to release before fully testing.

Yeah that's intended until I replace it.
I didn't have time to edit my Settings.apk I ported from my old Gin2JB extended.
The case is that all the icons in settings and the actual app icon itself is much smaller than it should be as I took them from a LDPI device back when editing the settings couple of months ago. The launcher simply tries to resize the icon so it would be the correct size for its grid.
I never intended to fix it as what I originally aimed for was a "Like Jellybean" (this is because I didn't know how to amend sizes of buttons/bars in the main screen) experience but @vokal1992 was making his own settings mod (I didn't know about that) and released it in Gin2JellyBean official which was basically going to do exactly for what I intended so I scrapped this app back in that day I was developing it.
But now I brought it back as I wanted to keep a close to stock experience for AtoMic GB to keep it's purpose still there.
This is one of the things I intend to edit next but for now I'll be very busy this week (school, tests, sport e.t.c) so it's something I will only have time to do at the weekend.
I will aim though to finish this upgraded ROM even if I receive my Nexus back at any point of the week.

Remembered AtomicGB 7 as my Fav rom back in the XP Days and wanted it to continue, glad you have continued it, sadly i have no XP to test it on, lol,

It's just a "one off update" since original AtoMic GB became quite dated. I'll be returning to my N5 soon but will make sure to finish the rom.
