Okay i have been modding a app "Paper wars" by opening it with winrar and changeing the png files. and after that using Auto-Sign 0.65 ive signed it so it could be installed
anyways i can install it on my samsung galaxy ace (normal)
Then i tried installing it on my Samsung Tablet (Chineese copy)
it said "Application not installed"
i can install the orginal app on the tablet but not the modded
So why is that anyone

Ya I checked it, it works on mine 2...
I got 2.3.7 hd2. But I won't have 2.1 roms to check it. Possibly it's a signing error

I had same problem with one of these chinies make android ( Froyo based) . I solved this issue by installing an app "ZipSigner 2" . Install this app on your tab. Copy the apk on sdcard. Then sign it with Zipsiger 2 by using platform key.
Now install the signed apk.
The default siging key is test-key which did not work for me. But Platform-key worked perfectly.
Anyway this is very handy that you can sign your apk on the phone itself.

What is the ROM version ? Is it Froyo based or GB based ?? For Rooting
If it is froyo based you can try z4root.
But for custom ROM , it is very difficult to get support for these chines clones.
There is very little resource available in english. You may get some resource in mobileuncle which is in chines or some other Russian site/ forum. No good custom recovery is available for these clones. One more bad thing is that most of them does not support ADB.
So , I will suggest not to play with ROM's system file.
Here are some link which may provide some info. Eken might be the OEM for these clones. But I will not be responsible for any weird situation or damage to your device. I have not tested anything.

I have a brand new WiFi Galaxy Tab 10.1 bougt in the UK. Its running the latest 3.1 Touchwiz update, I cant see movie studio anywhere and I cant find any informatiom on how to get it.

Really simple: its not installed in the European version of the Galaxy Tab.

I am a Youtuber and hoped SOO MUCH for this app for quick edits on the go.
I have searched far and wide, tried every method
Results:
one can download the apk push to system [REQUIRES ROOT]
BUT cannot export video.
also prettymuch every custom ROM I have downloaded comes with it. but again no functionality.
best bet: hope it comes with the ics update for the device.
Or you can ask someone who has done a Titanium Backup to give you the APK file.

I have a german version of the Tablet and changed with the AIO tool the Region to get the ICS.
My Problem now is that the Remotecontroll App in the ICS-US version has less compatible Hardware supports than the german one.
Have anybody deodexed the Roms or can upload the german control app?

I dint know tht galaxy had infrared port like tablet s for the remote feature to work
There is one app in the market called media remote you can download tht on ur galaxy tab
But the inbuilt remote feature of tablet s and the remote.apk is only for tablet s and dosent work for other tablets witjout infrared port

Any luck with getting the sony remote app to work on the samsung galaxy tab 2? I have one as well and hate the remote app that comes with it. I downloaded the files listed above but the install fails. I have the settings set to allow installs from unknown sources so that shouldn't be the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.
if u have root, manually place the files in the apps directory (/system/apps/) using root explorer (available in market). Call them irremote.apk and irremoteservice.apk Set permissions to rw-r--r--
Any way without root?

I got a china mobile phone that i rooted and Flash Omega on it to get playstore and so on .
On Omega it gives me a files to download a Chinese Keyboard samsung one but when i go to CWM and install it ~~~~~it crash all the time and nothing happen....
So i need the help from someone who got the files of the chinese keyboard or someone who can help me with Omega Kitchen....

In any case I don't think Samsung is inherently more trustworthy than Google. At least equally so.
If you can't find it online just use checkfus to download a Chinese rom and extract the apk from it.

Simply from Omega application that should be installed within the rom in apps directory , launch it , go to languages , the chineese language if off by default , download the chineese files .
Note : internet is must to launch omega online

im a root it kind of guy...lol. so my advise is to root and then delete the bloatware pulling on the system resources...
i have a q&a thread that has the required files to root..as well as a video by QBKing77, to show you the how to's...there is also a great faq's section about stock roms and much more..dont forget to thank the member that made the faq's part..

You got 3 options (need root access) :
1) like he said , remove all the bloatware
2) change the minfree values from the Android native task killer ( use ROM toolbox pro task manager for that)
3) flash a 4.3 aosp ROM ( ganbarou is my favorite one )
Hope this is can help you my friend , this tablet has a lot of potential like any Android device

If you want to report problems with an app, please send a mail to the corresponding developer or attach a log file. Here is an explanation about how to get a log file.

Check in the Play Store (or whereever you get the apk from) what minimum Android version is required. If your Android version is lower than the minimum requirement, you might update your Android system.
If the apk is simply not compatible with the Nexus 4 at all, there is nothing you can do beside sending an email to the app developer and ask him to make it compatible with your Nexus 4.
