[Q] Opera Mini / ICScrewD issues - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

So ive never had a problem installing Opera Mini until tonight when I flashed the latest ICScrewD. It will install from Market but when I install on device the progress bar gets to about 25% and just stops. Ive cleared cache, dalvik, wipe data/factory reset, switched Kernels. No dice. Any ideas what could be causing this?

How did you flash it? Did you do it through ROM Manager? Did you wipe data and cache? Something's not quite right, the bloatware should be gone.
i am having the same issue. are you also missing stuff like the notification power control widget?
io flashed mine from cwm and wiped everything.

i was only installing BAMF Remix Patch 1.6.2 not realinzing it is only a patch to BAMF Remix v1.6!!!
i booted into ClockworkMod
everything now appears to be as expected for the ROM
thanks for your help.
it looks like this worked. when it first boots though the wallpaper is black with a red streak but then changes to the default wallpaper from stock. is that normal?
That got me closer to everything being 100%. I installed Remix 1.6 and 1.6.2 and I noticed changes like the battery indicator and the market being black (very nice, btw), but I still have bloat & the notification bar is missing. Wiped Dalvic Cache both times, wiped data fully when I installed the main BAMF 1.6 at the start of this.

I had this same exact issue. The cause of mine was installing through ROM Manager. I was wiping everything that should be just like you are it sounds. The fix I found was rebooting into recovery and flashing manually. There is an option in ROM manager to reboot into recovery. Once you are into recover wipe data/cache three times. Wipe cache partition three times. Wipe Davlik Cache(Under advanced menu) three times. I usually wipe three just to be sure everything is clean before I flash. Flash 1.6. Now load 1.6.3(since it's out now) onto the SD card. Boot into recovery again, wipe cache partion and davlik cache three times. Install 1.6.3.

I did the install through the ROM manager, so I'm hoping your solution works out. I'll give it a try this evening. Thanks for the suggestion!

Actually I just looked and 1.6.3 is an entire rom instead of a patch so you can skip flashing 1.6. And just flash 1.6.3 after wiping data/cache/davlik cache.

I had the same issue and this worked for me. I just reflashed 1.6.3 directly from CWR (after wiping everything 3x) and everything worked correctly (notification widget, etc.)
thanks for the help
I am glad I found this, I had this same issue and it was driving me nuts. I'm reinstalling now and hopefully everything just comes out perfect.
I am adding this to my list of why I don't like RM.

[Q] One issue after flashing Galaxy task 7.0

Hello Everyone!
I just flash Galaxy task 7.0(new released ROM) on my tablet.
It almost works perfectly. However, I have one issue that I always get a pop-up message below when I reboot my device.
The application com.sec.android.app.worldclock has stopped unexpectedly.
What I can do is either to close it or send report to Google.
Any better solution on this issue? Where can I find the application and remove it from my tablet.
There is no problem with the rom. First try wipe data in app settings and if that doesn't work....Did you do a full wipe before installing? Whether you did or not do it agin. In cwm wipe cache, wipe dalvik and wipe data/factory reset. Do each one twice then you know it has worked, cos I heard that sometimes cwm can miss some files doing a wipe. Then install the full galaxy task 7 again. I am using it and have no problem with world clock or anything else.

[Q] 921 error in market

After I flash any also or aokp so cm9 or paradox rom all of my apps fail to download and I get a 921 error in market place. However when ever I flash a Samsung based rom everything works fine. I have done everything I can think of eq. Full wipe, format system, gapps fixer, clear market cache/data, older gapps and nothing works. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Had the same issue. I'm pretty sure a revoot foxed it.
Sent from my GT-I9100
wipe cache and dalvik cache and you are done
I've tried flashing, reflashing, wiping davilk cache/cache, factory reset, flashing siyah... nothing works...
EDIT: I got it working by clearing the market's data and then rebooting.
Try clear data from Download Manager, Market restart the phone and try again.
i have the same problem. when i installed the rom it was a clean install. also tried the advice from allocen and still the same

Cant open market anymore. help!

Im running cm9 nightlies and recently i tried installing a theme. I got stuck with a boot loop and eventually fixed it.
But what i noticed is that my market was missing. So i tried installing a modified market. but that failed. Then i tried reinstalling gapps thru cwm but still no luck. The market still crashes.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
go to settings , apps, play store, clear updates and data .. try again.

Try reflashing but follow these steps:
wipe cache & dalvik cache.
/format system
/format emmc
Then reflash ROM
Flash GAPPS
wipe cache & dalvik cache.
Then reboot.

restart problem

i am using sony xmp for past 6 months there is no problems with it....
i installed cm9 rom[nightly, stable] and cm10[nightly] and tested i works perfectly for a day and here comes the problem
after one day fine usage it keeps restarting if i clear factory reset ,clear cache and dalvik problem solve and another fine day usage problem comes again
any solutions
You are facing bootloops...
Happens with me too when I flash something wrong... But it never happens on such frequent basis...
Try reinstalling the ROM after wiping data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Wipe dalvik cache
Or switch to a different nightly(might be a bug) or FXP CM10... there isn't much difference...
nightly or stable
in stock rom like smulronics...etc there is no problem and cm7 also stable no problems....
the problem with cm9 and cm10 only
and also have some flickering in screen sometime...
Try flashing stock rom with flashtool and do a clean install of your custom rom.
Will try from flashing stock rom
