Javafx on windows mobile 6.1 - Windows Mobile Apps and Games

Hello
Can you get somewhere javafx on Windows Mobile 6.1?
or
how to install opera mini 6.1, for java esmertec is not working
Sorry my english it is not good
Regards

It works for me this way. Which problems do you have with Java and Opera Mini 6?
Why no use Opera 10 or Opera Mini 5 for Windows mobile native?

I use opera mini 5 but is now outdated.
Problem with opera mini 6 is such that when I have queried whether to allow access to the Internet. I accept that there is a white screen
So how to install java that opera mini 6 to work
Sorry for the google translator but I do not have time to translate

You are fighting with Java environment and its socket to Windows Mobile - not with Opera Mini. I have not seen a benefit for Opera Mini 6 in Java over the native Mini 5 in WinMo. JVM will not give you Cleartype fonts and bother you with additional security settings.
Do you have other applications running in Esmertec JVM which access the Internet? How are you connected to the Internet when you start Opera Mini 6?

I not have other java application. I only have opera mini 6
So where can download the JavaFX or any other environment in which the opera mini 6 will work
I connect to the internet through wi-fi.

Replace the policy.utf file for the Esmertec Java with the one in the attached zip file. This should fix the security for Java. Which Esmertec JVM have you installed?

I do not install Esmertec Jbed, I had it installed with the htc rom.
I do not know where the folder with the files esmertec
Which Java do you recommend?

I managed to install Opera Mini 6 (I downloaded a version with all the certificates) but slower than Opera Mini 5
Is it due to the fact that I have a pretty old phone (HTC TyTN 2 Windows mobile 6.1) or for Java ( Jbed build ID esmertec 20080318.2.1 installed by default with the htc rom)
and in which folder it is installed Jbed esmertec detail opera mini files on java

Try to identify where the policy.utf file is located on your device. When in the ROM, it should be at \windows\appdb\ - where also all the midlets get installed. It may be (but I think not) that you have to re-install Opera mini after overwriting the policy.utf. After that you will no more be asked if you want to allow network access for untrusted midlets.
And TyTN is not slow - I have OMAP 850 with 200MHz on my devices (mainly Tornado). Even there checking mail with Opera Mini (Native 5) is ok for on-the-go.

I just meant that opera mini 6 is slow and Opera Mini 5 is faster in the sense there is no micro-cutting. Any ideas?
Questions of untrusted MIDlets I do not have because I downloaded a version opera mini 6 of the certificates (previously I downloaded opera mini 6 no certificates).
Sorry for the google translator.

No clue about the "micro-cutting" must be a Google-Translate joke?!
It is obvious that Opera-Mini running in a JVM is slower than native code running on the device. And you have ClearType fonts with the native version while you do not have it within the JVM (because this JVM does not support it for applications). I stay with the native Mini 5 - it does all I need. If not, I can still back up to the Mobile 10 and turn on "Turbo" mode.

Opera Mobile 10(also turbo mode) it is slower than Opera Mini 6.
and
What to do with a white screen after reduction and return to opera mini 6, smartphone is not jam - ''smartfon nie zacina się(Polish)''
Any ideas?

If your problem is that Opera Mini in the JVM seems "stuck" after you return to it, then it may be because the JVM is not running in the background. In the JVM Menu (before you start Opera Mini) you have to activate "Run in background".
If you do not activate running in background, then the JVM asks you on return to it if you want to continue or terminate the stopped (when you sent JVM to background) midlet.

I activate "Run in background" but further is white screen

are there any solutions for the white screen problem in jbed? i notice that this occur only on installed version of jbed ,
cooked version is running fine

Installing java solved for windows pocket phone pc
Installing _setupJbed.CAB ... will solve the problem.

[Q] Opera Mini 5.1 Windows Mobile (non Java) - crash on startup - any fix ?

I get consistent crashes on startup with Opera Mini 5.1 for Windows Mobile (Windows Mobile – International), even after uninstall/reinstall, resetting device, changing regional settings from French to English, installing on internal memory instead of storage card and removing Opera Mini 5.0.3521 beta which works fine. I always only see the white Opera startup screen with the progress bar at about 20 % and then it crashes. The same happens on different devices and operating systems: HTC TyTN II (Kaiser) WM 6.1 and HTC HD2 (Leo) WM 6.5. Trying to install the version for Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC did not help.
Does anybody experience the same problems?
Can anybody help with a solution please?
Thanks in advance.

[Q] How to install Java or plugins in Firefox of ICS?

Dear all,
Some websites require to use Firefox and install JAVA or plugins to play movies. But when I use Chrome to open these webs and click on the guided link to download JAVA, it told me that there is no suitable version yet.
When I use Firefox to open these webs, it said there are no plugins, and didn't tell me what plugins.
But I can open these movies on webs using android 3.1 or lower.
So, is it because ICS 4.0.3 hasn't supported to open webs which require JAVA or there are other ways to open these movies?
thank you very much for your reply.
Oracle doesn't make plug-in for Android but you may use Adobe Flash Player. But it's strange
I've already installed Adobe flash player 11 before but it's no use.
Actually they require JAVA runtime or plugins or something like that.
Android has no Java support. In order to use a Java plugin, the installation of Java se runtime for arm CPU would be required (it worked like a charm on my old Nokia n900 debian based) but there would be no way to use the Java vm into the dalvik vm.
The only way (if your phone is a dual core, though it'd too slow) is running Java applet into an Ubuntu chrooted environment. In that case, it would be strongly suggestable to download the latest version of Java se from oracle site, which has jit and is very fast in comparison to the version you can find on current Ubuntu img.
Then, you'll just have to unpack it and put it somewhere in Ubuntu chrooted fs and make a symbolic link in order to jar to be launched via that Java se version. Besides, check inside Firefox configuration (always the chrooted one) and manually set the plugin path, though it could use the old version.
So you'll get a fully functional Java vm in android
wow, it's complicated. So it means that I have to install 'ubuntu installer' (the same as 'linux installer' in Play Market, is it right? ) and then install firefox with plugins to use, does it?
If do it this way, my phone will run 2 environments (Android and linux) at the same time and it'll become too slow then. I think my galaxy s2 with CPU 1.2ghz, ram 1g is not enough to do this . Should wait till Android supports JAVA then
thank you for your help, lucaoldb!
You are welcome
It is easier than it looks. Anyway, the Ubuntu chrooted img has already Java support, though it is a slower version. You can test it and see if fits to your needs. If you want an improved performance, you can follow the way I suggested above.

By the way, your hardware is ok and Java se support in android will not very likely be avalaible in next years, because Oracle sued Google people for copyright violation and the whole thing is not yet over...

I downloaded Java for ARM from Oracle site; these are the libs provided:
Code:
[email protected]:~/Downloads/ejre1.6.0_32/lib/arm# ls
client libhprof.so libjawt.so libnio.so
headless libinstrument.so libJdbcOdbc.so libnpt.so
jli libioser12.so libjdwp.so librmi.so
jvm.cfg libj2gss.so libjpeg.so libunpack.so
libawt.so libj2pcsc.so libjsig.so libverify.so
libcmm.so libj2pkcs11.so libjsound.so libzip.so
libdcpr.so libjaas_unix.so libmanagement.so native_threads
libdt_socket.so libjava_crw_demo.so libmlib_image.so
libfontmanager.so libjava.so libnet.so
I cannot find libjavaplugin_oji.so or libnpjp2.so to create the symbolic link for Firefox.
How can I do?
Regards
EDIT:
Solved, I downloaded headless version of JAVA SE instead of headful version:
ejre-1_6_0_32-fcs-b05-linux-arm-vfp-eabi-headful-05_apr_2012.tar.gz
ejre-1_6_0_32-fcs-b05-linux-arm-vfp-eabi-headless-05_apr_2012.tar.gz
in headful version the file libnpjp2.so is present.
