Tapatalk question - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I noticed quite a few people here use tapatalk app. Screenshots on the Market were taken only from a mobile phone. How does it work on a tablet? Does it scale nicely? Does it properly flip the screen between vertical and horizontal?

Yep it works well. Here's a screenshot.

I find it occasionally buggy but otherwise concur.

It works but it has plenty of missing features like the ability to search individual forums (or so it appears) and I think the interface mediocre but it's better than nothing.

Yeah, it works, but not at all tablet optimised. There is a HD version which has been released in the Samsung store only for the Galaxy Tab but unfortunately it does not appear to be released for any other tablets yet and when I tried installing the apk it loaded, but FCs when you try to log into a forum, making it useless.
So there does seem to be hope for a tablet version at some point.

Face Unlock

ICS is supposed to have facial recognition for lock screen unlock but I am not seeing it as an option? Does anyone know why this is missing?

OP- please close. Just noticed this has already been discussed in general forum. Sorry, search isn't the greatest from the app. Anyone else wish you could search by individual forum on the app like you can using a browser?

seems like it's either not part of the tablet branch or asus took it out.
i wonder how hard it would be to add back in?

Really hot...?

Everynight before I go to bed I throw all of my electronics on the charger. This morning when I grabbed my prime it was SUPER hot. This is the first time this has happened. I am on update .13.....any ideas? Anyone else?
C1 serial. Otherwise works great.
Oh yeah it also did the don't wake up untill I hold the power button for 10 seconds.

Hopefully when our primes are running properly we will be able to look back at these issues and laugh =P

Yeah you are describing the sleep of death issue that are in the two most popular threads right now. Sorry!

Sorry. It happened before but my prime didn't get hot. That's what I'm conceded about.

I was just watching a video for it, and didn't know it was on sale. Downloading now. Will update after I've given it a go.
UPDATE: After playing through 5 districts with anti-aliasing set to 4x and graphics on High, I have had no issues whatsoever. I'm running AOKP at 1.5GHz max OC
The game seems like fun, I look forward to playing it further.

Yea. But the Motley Kernel has issues @ 1.6Ghz if you read the thread, but I haven't patched it or updated to the latest. I am also running stock rom and it crashes (weird).

First time I played it crashed straight away. After a restart it worked for about 8 levels then crashed again. Its not the game though. I also have shadowgun thd and dark meadow and they both crash a lot as well. Wondering whether its a tegra 3 issue

its a software issue, not tegra3. asus is working on it. hopefully addressed or fixed in update coming.
Well at least its been acknowledged by them. At least then they should fix it at some point.

I too set the anti-aliasing to x4 and no more crashes, stock Prime.
This game vaguely reminds me of Blast Corps for N64

What exactly is Anti-Aliasing? And how do I go about changing it?

It's a video setting in options. Smooths edges of objects in video games etc.

My apologies if I'm being slow, but I am having difficulties finding the said settings in the options menu. Is it for stock only, or AOKP as well?

NOVA 3 - Now compatible with TF300T

Check it out now. Gameloft giving love.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...5nYW1lbG9mdC5hbmRyb2lkLkFOTVAuR2xvZnROM0hNIl0.
All the disappointment I initially had with available apps for the TF300T have faded away.

Awesome! Is it compatible with a mouse?
just bought it, then dowloaded about 85% of the 1.7 gig download over wifi, had to leave so I turned on my mifi but my tab dropped the signal and now I have to start over once I get home again :/ the internet is a wonderful thing, it also simultaneously sucks in many ways.

You won't need to start from the beginning again, it will remember were it left off. Well at least mine did.
Would you say this has better graphics than shadowgun or dark meadows?

No, it has very impressive draw distance (you can see things far away) but its not on par with the Tegra 3 games. If Gameloft doesnt start making their games using the unity engine they'll be left behind.....

Anybody notice the game is now totally screwy after the update yesterday? I just checked out the comments in Google Play and noticed this does not just apply our device. Not sure what Gameloft was thinking? If anybody has a fix for this that does not lose your progress in the game, please share.

Thanks, just downloaded it, let's see how it works....
I tried it again and it's still low frame rate on my tf300t with stock JB rooted.
All of the menus have been fixed, back to how it was before. Seems a bit smoother, but no huge difference.

WTH.... another update this morning?!.... no, let me reprase that: another update that asks me to download 1.7 GB of data this morning?! What the heck is up with Gameloft? First off this game is barely playable on a Tegra 3 tablet, and then their ridiculous updates are serious bandwidth killers.
The game was downloading on the first install page every time I opened it! Works almost flawlessly in my gs3, so it's definitely a device specific issue. I am also getting frustrated eating up my data allowance on this.
Edit: I don't see any update today??

Looks like another update today. I am hesitant to do this one as it works okay now. If anyone loads this update, please let me know if there is significant improvement. Thanks.

Did the newest update and now the game doesn't even launch. Could be a problem on my end though as i have problems with The Amazing Spider-Man and Asphalt 7 as well (don't load).

How to autowrap text during zoom?

First samsung user here prior HTC. Is there not a way to make the text autofit when you pinch to zoom? Never had this issue with HTC.

Dolphin browser has been working nicely too.

I too had to figure out a way, I'm so tired of Samsung phones not including it.
I found opera mobile(not mini)
Also maxathon
I much prefer opera mobile over maxathon, and I'm kind of getting used to it I guess...
Also try ICS browser in the market is included

Thanks guys will try opera mobile.
