[Q] Flashing romracers CWM - Motorola Photon 4G

I followed qbking's videos for unlocking and rooting the phone. The phone says unlocked during reboot and root checker confirms I'm rooted. I then went to flash romracer's CWM 5.0.2.7, following the instructions here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16654262&postcount=1
When I attempt to boot into CWM I get the exclamation error as seen below. I've redownloaded and reflashed several different versions (colors) from romracers post and repeated the process... to no avail.

Any ideas?

Does it confirm that you flashed recovery? I might try to get into fastboot mode and try again ...maybe you got a bad dl?

Finally found a thread where someone suggested removing/renaming /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
Did that, and reflashed CWM... works now.

Help!

I tried loading a theme. Upon reboot it kept freezing at the boot animation. I restarted in bootloader and ran the update. Now I can not get anything from Rom manager or cwr to load. When I tried loading a backup its unable to load the system. An error occurred while attempting to run privileged commands comes up when I try anything in Rom manager. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Edit: I don't know what happened but I downloaded root checker and it said I have root and busybox was correct. Although when I did the advanced root check it had fix me In relation to something I didn't quite understand. But all of a sudden everything is communicating with SU.

Title pretty much says it all. I've tried flashing stock firmware with no luck.
If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know. I'm really frustrated with this.

Check the updated OP. That's what happens every time I do something in Odin. I have to reboot to get any response from Odin again.
XDA is no longer worth my time.

Asfar as i can see, you are trying to update by just flashing an incremental update from twrp.
You will need to flash the full rom and right after that the update.
Btw do this with twrp 3.0.0.1
the problem is that not let me put the full ROM is the mistake you
or the ROM or patches
no one can take me out to solve this problem, thanks

untick "zip file signature verification" after selecting zip.
and as you do that, you are giving me a lot of problems this error.
do not let me put anything or upgrade anything
Flash through Fastboot
You have to flash the stock recovery through Fastboot as you did to flash TWRP.
Stock recovery cannot be flashed through TWRP.

Successful ROOT sm-n915p

Odin flash modded twrp "twrp-3.0-915P_915R4" and then new beta "BETA-SuperSU-v2.71-20160331103524" ... both can be found using simple xda search. NO CUSTOM KERNEL REQUIRED. IT WILL BOOTLOOP SEVERAL TIMES, DO NOT INTERRUPT JUST LET IT LOOP, IT WILL STOP.
Marshmallow root
sorry

So will this work on this version?
II am gettting random reboots after rooting. Not sure what is going one. I'm thinking the root is not stable for some reason. Is there anybody else getting random reboots that the phone will not recover from? I'm having to flash a new image WITH a PIT file to get it to boot again.
works so far. i got the files here: http://idoneapps.com/forum/index.php?topic=274.0
