MY ACE IS BRICKED FOREVER......!!
I found out what caused this problem..........so the day before i installed this app called "mobile odin" it asked me root permissons so i allowed it..then it said that the app is not compatible with my device and then it asked me to allow it to create a dump file and it said that it could take almost 30 mins to complete and make that app compatible with my device...so i allowed it after 30min it said finished dumping after that i didnt switch off or reboot the phone that day...but i rebooted the phone the other day which caused this problem...i am saying this because some other user bricked his/her phone the same way!
Click thanks if i helped u
Consequences of this brick
1.looping at samsung logo & looping black screen when charging
2.Cannot Boot Into any Recovery menu
3.BUT I can go into Download Mode (but Flashing any rom through odin does not help)

flash an original samsung rom with odin and flash also the original recovery then boot from recovery
the original ace recovery can fix boot file errors something CWM recovery cannot do, you will have you ace back in business easily.

you need a rom that installs everything but I think you can boot recovery, if you have CWM recovery try again, sometimes you need to try 3 or 4 times to get CWM recovery boot then you can install original Samsung recovery

my friend bricked his Galaxy 5 when this device wasn't supported after generating Dump file...
actually this app read /dev/stl15 partition data i.e. efs
efs got easily corrupted and device losses its IMEI and result into a bootloop...
only Samsung can change the whole chip to fix this
It is simple if u first read before do anything....then blame anybody for it...

You can un-brick it fairly easy. Use the SGS pc root pack

so is ther any solution to this ?
I'm not sure.. As for now, maybe u can treat your phone as "bricked"...
maybe you can use The USB gij or create some one
i went to samsung service centre.... they said my mother board ic fired,, and it does not comes under warrenty 4200 INR for replacing IC
Okay so after much and much reachersh
I got odin to pick up my ace but the screen does not go on......
And then when I say flash it just says setting up conection and stays there
Any help???
You can try with a JIG (Dongle USB) ..if Download Mode on your Ace isn't damaged it would start in Download Mode, then Flash Firmware with Odin
It seems he was using the old version of RZ recovery which had the boot.img bug. He might not have updated to the latest fixed version.

Maby....I don't know anyway to fix it??
I think no if recovery and Download Mode don't start..
Last year i bricked my old Galaxy S..recovery doesn't starts, Download Mode doesn't starts..so i bought a JIG ..just putted it in my Galaxy S and in 3-5 seconds it autostarts in Download Mode
When i bought a second hand Galaxy Ace a few weeks ago i find my jig and i tried it on Ace, my phone automatically starts in Download Mode so it is 100% compatible with Galaxy Ace you can be sure buying it
Ok thanks from what I read online it looks like it works
So I am gonna try and make one
THANKS!
Sure..tested by me
and remember CWM recovery backups doesn't work on RZ
Dude i really dont think CWM backups work on RZ!!!
Okay okay I just thought I would try cuz I figered that nothing bad could happen that I could just reflash a new rom if the rom does not boot but...

mostly the second download mode which ace have that is arm dump mode or whatever can directly interact with insides.. if phone can enter that thing then it is recoverable by them..
i saw something similar in Galaxy R thread to recover it from hardbrick.. but no such files are there for SGA

No one has tested it with the "V" version before i think. Infact Almost all of people here have not heard of this model i'm guessing. It would be a risk now to try and flash a custom firmware of 5830i/c/m on your "v" model, unless you are sure that the chipset of v is same as i/c/m. And i think if your phone is carrier locked by vodafone, you'll have to keep extra precaution not to overwrite your baseband
......
thank you so much i did hit the thanks for you
my phone is unlocked from vodafone and im only trying to flash a stock firmware from the middle east so the phone can read arabic however i will check the chipset as u advised

Guys i checked with samsung they said the ace s5830v has the same chipset as the s5830i ONLY different is the bands
Is it ok to the flash the stock s5830i ROM on the galaxy ace s5830 v?
Really appreciate any helpe
Thanks guys
Dude, probably this wouldn't help u at all but, in another thread andres said he never saw this model GT S5830V too
In his thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1907298) about samsung source codes for S5830 and variants, have this model with an ICS source.. My hope is your phone be similar to ours and then maybe devs can use this codes to get us an stable ics port
Finally good news i successfully flashed a stock galaxy ace s5830i ROM on my galaxy ace S5830V it was straight forward with odin3 V1.85
It took less than 5 minutes and all is good:laugh:

Search for odin in google and how you go back to stock. when you have read much about flashing via odin, go to Sammobile and download your perspective version of stock ROM and flash it via odin.
