Install XXLPB.
When I installed XXLP2 it was laggy for me aswell, and had other issues. As others have said, XXLPB is much better, but of course if you want to avoid lagginess and most other issues, wait for stable.
how can i retun to 2.3.6 While I Wait to a more Stable 4.0?
Does XXLPB good for daily use? what kind of bugs should i expect?

IMHO, XXLPB is good enough for daily use. Some apps freeze sometimes, but it happened to me also with official GB ROMs, Screen responsiveness is, IMHO, better than any GB ROM I used, including the official Samsung released ones, especially regarding text selection, which I can perform much better than I used to do with GB.

There's a MIUI experimental build out on the Original Development Forum. It's not perfect yet but most things are working
I must say I'm liking it, but I dont like how I cant sort my icons out and I have A LOT of them and its too much trouble to folder-ize them

Umm... get a different launcher.
ADW? LauncherPro?
anyway... thanks fellas!
Do you guys know what's NOT working?
I absolutely agree with my fellow user and Senior Member GXFX here! This is the BEST ROM ever I have tried in my SGS II. I tried almost every single ROM out here in XDA, except CyanogenMod. MIUI is fantastic in terms of butter smooth experience, the mind blowing customization option and super fantastic battery experience.
The one thing that I did not feel comfortable with MIUI is its launcher, so I just installed ADW launcher, everything is just cool and comfortable. Thanks team MIUI.
I heard there are issues with bluetooth. It is important to me as I connect to my car stereo using bluetooth and can't do without.
Has anyone had any problems?

Doing that would defeat the purpose of using MIUI. And you dont get the wonderful animations on the MIUI launcher
There are alot of FC's left and right and Bluetooth isnt working, but its mostly good for day to day use
Hello Everyone, Gingerbread was supposed to improve upon the Ace, but improvements are few and issues are more..There are many users that are having same issue and some of them want to revert to 2.2.1
I regret installing 2.3.4 DDKQ5. My phone was so smooth while using froyo 2.2.1.What I noticed :
1.Phone lags like hell while using live wallpapers.
2.Unlock screen lag
3.App drawer lags...it was very smooth in froyo
4.Pop menu animations lags.
5.Scrolling in pop menu also lags
6.RAM usage is high
7.Angry birds rio still lags in higher levels(Some people were saying that it has been fixed in XXKPH.)
8.Wi-fi error still there...have to restart phone to get it working.
Samsung really broke my heart
Use rom like fla.sh2 not lag and very fast
If you are fine with rooting, then use cf-root kernel.... You'll definitely love it...
To add to that... boot up is quite slow and recovery mode via Volume Up + Home + Power doesn't work.

to be honest i have been on stock like and touchwiz roms so far and been on cm7 for lilttle time what i need is fast rom on wich i can play games and can run open vpn and nice stylish theams < (which so far i have never tried lol)
ok now bro jusada i have tried sunday 2 today and i wana confirm tun.ko works on your rom without any problem and its a really nice n fastest rom. cm7 is awesome but its a bit to much also i miss few things of stock tho...( like it wont read simcard contacts it self , swipe right to call n left to text function in call logs so on.. )
i was confused in beginning was lookin for file manager i think you should leave a file manager in it i dont think its a bad idea coz file manager is a main thing in phone i guess after all but any ways i did my own way to install it just send a file from bluetooth and access it from notifications
second i have tried is gingerreal but i am having trouble with it which i posted in its thread but noone seems to clear it out so far in my ace life i have never successfully configured apps2sd , and it is giving me lags n so on..
so i dont knw havnt tried any other yet having hard time deciding

The reason I have left the file manager out is because cm7s file manager is so very poor. I don't replace as its ment to be stock cm. I know I've moved from that a little lately, but it will be moving back to that.

Right now, for Vibrant's case.
*>Passion/Euphoria
Passion/Euphoria are both outdated by any ROMS released these days.
Passion and Euphoria both have bugs that have been fixed, but the ROM was not updated.
I HIGHLY recommend you move on to a different ROM if you are still on Passion or Euphoria.
Agree with x. Passion was good but never updated. I haven't tried Chimera. I'm currently on Gummy 1.2/Devil 3.0.75!
What are you looking at shortbus......
I know, I still in euphoria and I am thinking to change to a different rom, I havent had any trouble on euphoria at all by the way.
Chimera is a nice rom . It has great battery life as well . The installer is crazy it is a touch installer . You could also use the installer to modify your install of chimera later. There are options for different kernels , fonts , themes , inverted gapps and so on . I was on utopia but it didn't have tv out so I switched to Chimera and I'm very happy with it .

Yep, I love the installer as well.
It's called AROMA installer (not by neobuddy)
I moved to Chimera as well, I am trying it and so far its great.
the installer is awesome, it has less lagging than euphoria, and GPS is working well.

I have been running chimera for about a week now and i am loving it. Its stable fast and tons of customizable options. I would recommend switching over to chimera if you havent already, definitely the best ROM offered by Team Passion at the moment. O yea, the custom installer is SICK!
I just downloaded Chimera and I'm going to flash it tomorrow and let you know... currently running Euphoria and while I loved it at first, it has had a lot of slow down and some issues recently with force closing.
There is a new kernel for Chimera . Chimera 1.3 . Better GPS and fixed voltages .

I've used it for a little over a day now, and I can say it's much faster than ics passion v13 was running for me. Passion was getting really slow, call quality was awful, and everything would crash. Now it's running very smooth, call quality is what it's supposed to be. My only complaint is I can't add widgets to my home screen without the launcher crashing. Not sure what's going on here, anyone have this issue. It's particularly with beautiful widgets?
Edit: I followed this post and got it working:
There is a way but it's little complex...
1. You need to download a root explorer (I use ES File explorer).
2. You need to use the explorer and locate the "Launcher2.apk" in data/app/ folder
3. You then need to move the apk from data/app/ folder and put it into system/app/ folder
4. Make sure the launcher your currently using doesn't have default on (if using different launcher)
5. Reboot your phone, choose CNDlauncher, and BAM! you can now use CNDlauncher to add widgets from the app/widget drawer.
Hope this helps!

For me, Chimera is flawless. I came from ICS Passion 13.1 and suffered from poor call quality and lagging. With Chimera and the Heart V2 kernel, everything is working great and my phone is the fastest its ever been. Also, my battery life is awesome too. I am going to try the new kernel that fixes the GPS after DS issue and see how that works.

I am currently using sensation rom and i like the interface.
You could check out the topics of other roms.
If you really want something differend, you could flash any CM9 rom, they are build from the source up so has notting to do with touchwiz.
Do know that you will have a slightly worse camera and transfering files to your sd card will be slower and some other minor bugs.
I used CM9 for a long time and like it alot! But i still prefer samsung roms as they are better in many ways. Sensation rom is based on samsung.
(if you go to CM9, you need to do a full wipe)
Try also vertumus theme
