I have an LG Incite (CT810) that uses WinMo 6.5. It's about the same size as the Aria.
Make a good offer on the phone - I currently use it as a stand-alone GPS device.

I love Windows mobile)))
And do you have plans to create an affordable way to replace HBOOT on the SPL?

Yes, we working in htc hd mini thread to get way to install hspl, I done hspl, but trying to install it...if we hack hd mini we will install aria flash inside so than we will need to reverse proces so than will be option installing wince to aria... I must to say wince runing very well on aria (everything working), only bad thing and that not working is button keypads, so there is unusable buttons home, menu, back and search, so no option to back to prewious menu becouse buttons not working but I think someone will fix it if have wince port for aria...

Touch-sensitive buttons do not work, or work, but do not perform the function?

Yes! Only completely not working buttons and that buttons light: home, menu, back and search... so wince is unusable without that buttons... maybe you know a way for possible fix?

can must scratch with existing drivers, but without any result is not predictable source...
By the way, digitizer controller also controlled by touch buttons, yes?...
How controller touchscreen in this device?
Upd
touch-sensitive buttons - this is part of the touch screen!can write a simple program that will simulate a button click when you press certain coordinates, which are placed in a physical button, but illumination of the keys will not ...
Sorry for my bad english)

maybe is possible but sorry I not have that knownledge to get it working... problem is its not like android "open source" so for that thing we need knownledged wince developer

HTC Touch / TouchFlo

Hi, some people have had success getting the touchflo interface to work on the Wizard:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=314031&highlight=touchflo
but it doesn't seem to work on Charmer. Anyone else tried / succeeded?
If anyone has any ideas, please post here, thanks.
Its for Hermes, not wizard.
I think Wizard as well...

this is a realy goods news for us, but the fact is too few people use charmer. i only can do is wait for somebody make the sutiable rom for charmer.
today i used to make a test, write the Fantastic_b4_step2 ROM to charmer, but that is not function, stop at the second screen and system was down.
I have been using the htc Touch homescreen today plugin, wireless manager and dial pad on my charmer for the past week, however had to overclock the device to compensate for the lagging.

I've been using the above and a few of the other HTC apps on my Charmer for a good few weeks now and found that if I install the "v. 000.2 WM6 Essentials" rom and then the HTC apps I dont have to overclock the thing at all. Although the first time some of the apps are run they are slow.
I'd like to see someone add these to a new extended rom excluding all the naff T Mobile stuff that I have to bypass after flashing at the moment. I've also never flashed my PDA so often as I have recently.
I just have one problem and thats syncing with Vista Windows Mobile Device Center, its not working and giving me sync errors but doesnt tell you why typical Microsoft error trapping hey?
Adding the bits to the extended rom make n difference, however having them added to the actual rom does, anyway the charmer rom cookers have stated their stance on adding these tidbits to the rom and I appreciate that.
Regarding your active sync issues, are you using AS 4.5?

Sexed up Athena

Hi.
I have had my Ameo for over 6 months. I was once proud to show off its features. But it now seems lacking with the htc touch and IPhone.
I have install spd shell. This sexed it up a little. However, I want more iphone like features. Can any recommend anything?
CJ
buy an iphone?
or an htc touch
I do not want a HTC Touch or I-phone.
I would be instrested in getting deepfish and/or some HTC Touch functionality working on my ameo.
Also irus and Midget_1990 as senior member i would of hoped you would of contributed to the thread rather then saying nothing of any value.
U can pro as i did just install FTouchFlo 1.4.1 + Slither's Cube + Adobe Flash Lite and then u'll understand that nothing beats ATHENA!!! but remember, if u wanna use the cube u should keep ur devices screen in portrait mode and that means not being enable to use qwerty keyborad there r lots of colne apps for iphone. not a big deal

Thank you hirad_sabaghian, this is the feed back I wanted. But not being able to use lanscape will be a problem.
also did we fine a way of automatically from landscape to portrait using the vueflow?
I HAVE HTC X7501 , Touch and Iphone and the best is X7501.
i phone is cool looking phone and that is it and touch is very slow.
I've used iPhone for around 1 month. The thing is very good when dealing with multimedia. For every-day uses, I stick to my WM6. iPhone has problem in the messaging (SMS), you can't forward and search message. That's very annoying for me.

HTC Home plugin on Athena WM6

I've tried going through all the Home Plugin posts on these forums, but can't find my particular problem in any of them.
I have an Advantage with Dutch WM6, official download from HTC.
I have RealVGA running smoothly.
I wanted the HTC Home Plugin, so I downloaded the latest I could find here (v2.0, Kaiser.HTC.Home.v2.0.814.722-schen) and ran the .cab along with all the cert.cabs I could find.
As expected, it looks funny at 192dpi, but works very nicely at 96dpi.
BUT...
The clock works and all the messaging-shortcuts work, but all the other tabs (pref. calling, weather, launcher and soundsettings) are non-functional.
When I try to add something to the launcher, it just gives me a generic folder-icon without any option to actually select a program.
Selecting a contact for the pref. calling tab doesn't do anything at all. The weather tab is empty.
Has anyone else had these problems, and if so what should I do about it?
-Asby
HTC home plugin VGA
Try HTC home plugin VGA, it work OK with 192 dpi also.
Tried it, and all I got was a blank spot where the Home Plugin should be.
Even tried substituting another .dll, no dice.
The only one that gives me anything (home tab at 96dpi) is HTC.Home.v2.1.1005.722.Directory.Fix.Only.schen.
Thanks for the idea, though.
Hmm, It does work at 96dpi on my athena no problem, if it is any use to you Im running it on PK3 Black touch rom.
I assume that you tried the app with the previous one uninstalled and that it is selected in settings >today> Items.
If you tested the file attached, perhaps is worth to do a search for the original file Just in case it got corrupted when uploading.
good luck with it anyway.

Maybe it's because it isn't embedded in the ROM? (doesn't PK3 have it in the ROM?)
I think I read on the forum that that was a problem with the Athena...
PK3 Black touch has the regular home plugin as an add on, it did not look proper in 192 and 128dpi, it wasn't that bad but then the newer app came and solved that problem, I don't know about black dual though,I'm waiting for PK4, also if you are interested there is SnapVue around, it does look fab in landscape mode, in portrait how ever it cut the right side.
Regards
search my dual thread. there is a plugin that works in all dpis.

Would that be snapvue?
Also, maybe I'm being blind, but I am wondering whether I've been stupid and I just need compact frmework to make everything work?
Man, I am a total noob, aren't I...
I want to thank you all for all your help!
This forum is such a great resource, and you're all very cool for helping me out.
Snapvue: Get the plugin working, but only the calendar-view works. All others don't even show up as tabs.
HTC Home: Tried the last versions from the Dual thread; they other don't show up at all or (2.1) only show the Home-tab correctly. All other tabs non-functional.
I'm beginning to think these just will not work with the Dutch 6.0 ROM, and I am not in a position to change ROMs right now.
Seems this isn't meant to be for me just yet...
Possible problemsolver:
rename the MUI to 0413 (dutch) as opposed to 0409 (english)?
I'll give that a shot when I get home.
I have given up on HTC Home Plug
I can't get the launcher portion to operate properly on either version. It is nice to have the numbers not be cut off on screen, but if I can't adjust the brightness on the fly, it won't work for me. Perhaps it isn't playing nice with some of my other software (of which there are many!) I'll wait for the new 4.0 ROM and see if that solves my problem.

Yeah I tried it. On the Advantage in Landscape mode is covers the whole srceen and you can't get to anything below it. In Portrait mode it takes up about half the screen.
works!!

Well, you can't flash any Windows Mobile Standard ROM on a Windows Mobile Professional device! Standard device means classical Smartphones without Touchscreens, Professional devices are devices with phone functionalities (GSM and so on) and Classic devices are like Professional devices but without any phone functionalities!
Hope I was able to remove your confusion!
STANDARD version requires some hardware buttons. Touch Dual doesn't have it
oo oh ooooo !
Now its clear.
thanks for the info dudes...

Open your eyes, in this forum you can download many WM 6.1 Rom's in different languages, cooked ones and original ones...
do they come with office software in them or would I lose that when I upgrade. Also would I lose the HTC launcher home screen?
Just start reading
Some of them with Office, some of them without.
Some have HTC Home, some have Manila2D
Just look in the Threads, there you can see all Details.

Looking for android program similar to this

hi guys,
i'm having issues as i pull out the phone from my pocket, before i can see who is calling, i accidently touch the answerkey button on the screen. This can be very irritating, so i'm wondering if someone has an app that can:-
1. Either allow users to disable the answerkeys (touch screen only). One example here is the windows ANSWERKEYS DISABLER:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425650
Or
2. Create a new application for the android phones as many of us would like this option.
I eagerly look forward to your replies.
newbiefone
If the screen is locked, you have to slide down to answer. Not something you're likely to do accidently.
the screen is locked as to lock it, u have to press the CALL DECLINE KEY (on the most right) until it goes blank, but when someone rings and as i take out the phone from my pocket it either gets answered or the ringing goes on silent...
I simply want a hard key answer/decline phone and want to cancel any other touch buttons functions...surely if people say that android is so adaptable, there must be some software out there which can do such a function or maybe someone can create an app that allows you to disable certain touch functions?

well, this statement is not in any way less true by your problem. only problem is, so far you seem to be the only one having this problem, at least it is not important enough for somebody to write an app. android IS that open, just write an app that suits your needs...

Of course there are issues with accidental touch screen presses! Why has someone created an Answerkeys Disabler for the HTC Touch Diamond? The funny thing is that its been created actually in this forum and the responses went on for over 50 pages!!! have a look right here:- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425650
So to say that there is no demand for such an app is a load of tosh...its just a matter of WHEN, not IF. All i want to know is if such an app exists for windows mobile

I think you mean android?
Didn't see such a program yet, but sure it's there. But coming from a diamond and owning a hero, I can see why the diamond would need it, and the Hero doesnt.
Diamond's hardware buttons are way larger, and don't stand out so you're pressing them easier than on the hero.
apologies stafflover. Yes that should have read "its just a matter of WHEN, not IF. All i want to know is if such an app exists for android as it does for windows mobile"
Still it would be great to have such option mate...who created that answerkey app for windows? was it someone on xda forum?
