So in my search for an answer, I have been led to this forum. I have been trying unsuccessfully to log in and register my serial number for my TF-201 with the ICS OS.
I would like to be able to see what updates I am downloading when I am notified that I need to install the update. But this is the message I get after I input my serial number.
"This service is currently not supported on Eee Pad Transformer (TF101) and Slider (SL101) running on Android Honeycomb. It will be available on ASUS Android devices running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)."
So I click on the "OK" button but nothing happens. Zilch. I tried all weekend to do it and it just kept saying "sending". But today, the above message appears. What the heck gives and how can I sign into the site?
I dont know, it worked for me.. I selected "Sign in with Google" logged in with my gmail account, then added my serial number without any issue.

I had to switch over to chrome, but mine is just sitting at sending also, that is after entering the serial number.

Sweet! I didn't know that this service existed. Thanks.
It had a placeholder that said "Comming soon" [sp] until at least 3-4 days ago when I last refreshed the page.
Anyone having success at this?
I am partly convinced it needs to see a GPS location to even have a chance to work, and we all know what great GPS performance the Prime is know for... sigh.
I even tried setting up my TomTom Bluetooth GPS Transceiver before trying the for the umpteenth time, and still no joy. Most of the utility is obviously for laptops/netbooks, but if nothing else I would LOVE to see my firmware update history... double sigh
worked for me indoors, fairly sure I didn't have a GPS signal. Took a long time to download the page though (and on my PC too)

Anyone know how to enable "Find My Mobile" on the GT10.1? When i check the box for Remote Controls, it pops up a ID/Password box but I'm only able to enter the password portion. Entering any password whether correct or not gives a "Processing failed" message.
On samsungdive, my account login works just fine.
has anyone been successful?
I'm able to log in at the settings page but I don't know where to go on Samsung's web site to track my phone.

So when you enable "Remote Control", do you get a popup window for ID/Password? If so, can you enter both ID and Password or just Password?

I saw that in your original post but it looked like an autocorrect error. What an odd domain name.
Anyway, I was able to log in. Here are the results...
- Find my mobile: Worked perfectly. Saw my exact location. The Satellite overlay showed the building and my exact location within the building where my Tab is located.
- Track my Mobile: I didn't try it. Assuming that it could find me perfectly I expect it could also track me.
- Ring my Mobile: Mixed results. Yes, it rang my Tab and yes, it played a sound even though I had muted the Tab. However, it played a single "bong" (is that the default ring tone?) only once. It never repeated for the entire minute as promised. If I had lost the Tab and was trying to find it in some other room I'd be very disappointed. My advice, keep the other "find my device" software installed that plays a siren.
- Lock my mobile: Works perfectly. I was using the Tab in an unlocked state and it locked the Tab using the background of the regular lock screen. This is important to me because on the regular lock screen I have my contact information. It asks for the pin that I entered on the SamsungDive site and then unlocked the device.
- Wipe my mobile: Didn't try it. For obvious reasons. But considering everything else worked, I'm going to take a leap of faith and assume this works also.
I'd say I'm 80% satisfied.
Good to hear that it should work. Bad for me that it doesn't.
Anyone else have the same problem as I?
tried Samsung DIVE yesterday and today and it didnt work with the Tab 10.1
it worked fine with my Galaxy S II though
I'm in EXACTLY the same boat as flintdragon, to the letter.
looks like a long dead thread but I thought I would add the current samsung site info
as of 7/7/2013 you can log in to the samsung account site that has things like find my mobile here:::

Hi,
I found firmware that looks very promising to work on my tablet. It boots, kinda. I mean, when I flashed it it did a bunch of formatting messages and now when I try to turn on the tablet it shows the logo. Sometimes it goes to the "lock screen" other times it just shuts off instantly. It doesn't seem to take my touches as inputs when I try to unlock the tablet. However, it does appear to have the right resolution for my tablet as all the visual stuff is laid out neatly and fits on the screen.
So, since I cannot find the right firmware (I have searched for 3 days straight now - even reached out to manufacturers - still no luck), I'm wondering if someone out there can modify this firmware so it will work with my tablet?!
My tablet model is S750L and uses Rockchip 292x. Supports Android 4.1.1
Link to firmware (For model TAB R76.2): This site wont let me give the link. So, go to GoClever.com click on "Support" and then "Software Update." Look in "TABLET" for R76.2. See where it says "update file?" Click on the blue icon that says. "ZIP" all the way at the right.
Hi guys, it's moomoomania here. I have a question whether or not it is possible to pair my HTC M9 with my Nexus 9 via bluetooth for smart lock purposes ONLY (just like if I was to have an android watch -which I don't- to bypass my lockscreen). I've looked a million places and I have yet found an answer to my question.
I don't wish to pair it so I can tether internet access to my tablet; I just want to pair my android tablet with my android phone so I don't have to wait for my phone to see my face or do my pattern code.
If anyone has any knowledge or have successfully done it, let me know and I'll give you a huge thumbs up with my butt. Thank you!
you just need to pair them via bluetooth then uncheck "internet access" in the little settings box you can open with the gear icon.

Yes but everytime I do that, I am not able to connect it together. When I go into the Smart Lock settings, and try to apply my Nexus 9 as a trusted device for my M9, it always says "not connected" (at the "Choose device" tab). Do you have this problem or have successfully connected your tablet with your phone without a hitch?
EDIT: If I click the little smart lock notification, it says "Add trusted device? Connect your M9 to keep your phone unlocked". There is only a cancel button.

actually I have the same problem. :') it's been a problem since I updated my phone to lollipop, it was fine before. I think it's probably an AOSP bug since nothing I've ever done has been able to fix it. I wish I had more to add, maybe someone else can chime in.
Hi smart people :good:, hope you can help me
I bought a used O mate True smart and i got it today. Its almost new other than some apps installed you couldn't tell it was used. when I turned it on for the first time i got a notification for an update. Current: Truesmart-20140328-1744. I went to settings>system>about true smart>wireless update.
It says that I need to update to a newer version (there is nothing written in the release notes) and the size of the update is 6.03 MB. when i pressed Download it says that there is an unzip error and it stops the download. How can I update my device and fix this error? its not an internet connection issue, I tried going online with the browser and it works fine.
My second problem was with the O Store, i presume that this is where I download apps I want on my watch when I start the app, it just shows me a rotating circle and it says "Data Loading". Its been like that for more than 2 hours .. like i said, its not an internet issue, i went on the browser and it works fine.
Third problem was with an app called Whats App (it was already installed when i had it). it says "your phone date is inaccurate! Adjust your clock and try again". I tried network provided time, GPS provided time and even put the time and date manually, still don't work
Also, when i try to download any google play app from the browser, it says "Browser is no longer supported".
this is really frustrating.. i cant do anything with my watch!
hope you can help me
phone: Samsung Galaxy s9+
android version: 10 (upgraded from 9, pushed out by tmobile)
one ui version: 2.1 (also pushed out by tmobile)
model #: sm-g965u1
Since the 7/1/2020 update, I get a notification from omadm that a firmware update is not complete. This notification cannot be dismissed, and omadm cannot be disabled. auto retries every 60 minutes.
Also, I get another notification that wakes the phone up every 60 minutes
"Attention android update is successful" I will get this same notification again in 60 minutes.
The phone was never rooted by me. But I did buy it used off of Amazon. Phone was working fine with android 9.
I'd just like to stop the notifications. Except for the notifications, the phone works. I can make and receive calls, texting works and I can browse the web. All of my apps work.
Does anyone know how to stop the notifications?
I've already tried removing my sim card. This doesn't do anything.
I had the same problem with an unlocked used S10+ I purchased on Amazon. I had to send it back for other reasons but I got similar notifications. This seemed to work for some people:
SOLUTION (AT LEAST WITH MY GALAXY NOTE 10 +)
Had the same problem on a Samsung Galaxy S10 and here's the solution that seemed to work:
Go to 'Settings' > 'Software update' and hit 'UICC Unlock'
It loads for a moment, then says SIM Restricted... Hit 'OK'
It takes you back to the 'Settings' > 'Software update screen'. Hit 'Download and install'
It loads for a moment, then says Your software is up to date...
Then open that notification saying the profile didn't update.
It loads for a minute, then says Profile updated... Hit 'OK'
It loads again for another minute and says something similarly. Hit 'OK'

This did not work.
wiping the cache did not work
resetting the phone did not work.
Every hour, the phone wakes up on it's own and does the failed to update thing.
I'd root the phone, but I found out the phone is basically unrootable
It's crap like this that makes me HATE androids, not that Apple is any better. Apples are basically built for morons.
BTW, I did not see what is posted in the above fix. It makes me think some guy put that on his website just to get clicks for the ads on his page.
I tried flashing, this did not work either. As soon as you accept any update from your carrier you get this error back. In my case initially, flashing the stock firmware seemed to work. I did not see the error. But the first update that T-Mobile sent to me was the time zone update, which I got After flashing the phone with the latest stock firmware from sammobile. As soon as I accepted that update, the error came back.
someone in the T-mobile forums suggested using ADB to remove omadm. This can be done as a standard user, apparently, something I did not know.
