You have been told wrong the processor that was built with/for ICS is the one in the samsung galaxy nexus by Texas instruments our Snapdragon chip was the fast cheaper solution for samsung when they discovered the Exynos chip was not good with LTE data they could have gone with the TI chip but it would have cost them double wich saves you from paying $
400 on contract $800 off the chip in the LTE version is not that bad ICS will speed it up but not as much as it will for the other mentioned chips
Our phones will fly once the Devs get them and put out some great ROMs
Right on thanks

Don't know about it being built for ICS, but when I tried it at CES, I saw that it will be soooo epic with ICS . I believe that is around March 1.

Boy you know that's a good question I've never thought about! Maybe when Samsung open sources it, the devs can extract the necessary framework and bake it in? Seems like it would be a HUGE miss if they didn't.

If I'm not mistaken, there has already been a leaked ics built from the international note. Cm9 teams will probably just use the spen stuff from there. If Sammy doesn't release ics AT&T built, then I'm sure they can use the international spen stuff. The only difference (I think) is the physical button color change.

Our carriers (especially Verizon) are probably just saying these things as a negotiation ploy, to gain some leverage on Samsung so the company will manufacture differentiated devices like last year.

LOL, thanks for showing me that you are unable to read. Because there is NOTHING stated anywhere that says ANYTHING about it being available in June. All you saw was a picture of a wall that said June, and you are making an assumption. I don't make assumptions, but I do state facts.
Fact #1. Galaxy S was announced by Sprint In June, it didn't come out until August 31st. It was announced Internationally MONTHS before.
Fact #2. Galaxy S II announced Internationally May 5th. Released on Sprint Sept 16th.
Fact #3. The Galaxy Nexus was released Internationally December 2011. It didn't come to Sprint until April 2012.
See the pattern. Ok thanks.
