I have tried VNC, ScreenSlider and iDisplay, but they need a PC or MAC to work. Does anyone know of a way to use your tablet as a 2nd monitor to the Android Mobile

I want to know the same thing. My friend has Samsung Galaxy S2, and the screen just feels too small for the phones capabilities.

Have you tried the teamviewer mobile app?
Also, check this thread, a lot brain storming happened there regarding this issue.

Use MyMobiler. It will give you full control of your device from your computer.

Hey guys!
I got an iPad 2 because of someone's success, so it's kinda emotional - long story short, I can't sell it, so I want to use it in an efficient way.
- the question: is there an app that turns my Galaxy S II into a touchpad/mouse that doesn't require software on the client's side - or is there any app that pairs my phone with my iPad in this way?
Thanks!
/pushing myself into greater heights
You might be able to pair a bluetooth mouse to the ipad and hope it works like a cursor(it works on the sgs2 i believe) but no way is there anything that will allow you to use the touchscreen on the sgs2 as a mouse for the ipad.

I use RemoteDroid. Works pretty good for me.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...esult#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5qb3Noc2VyYSJd
that looks to be using just wifi, i would prefer bluetooth without a client-server system
I use gmote.

Sorry, I had my add post window up before your post showed up for me, so I did not see your added criteria, and you didn't have this criteria in your original post.
Also, through a quick search of the market and google, I couldn't find ANY that don't have to install some kind of server software on the pc you are attempting to control.
Hey everyone
I hope you answer me asap .
I've searched in the internet for usb back tethering & i found it & worked for me great , but now the problem is , when i installed the KJ2 rom the method wont to run , is there any way you guys know it to run the back tethering again ?
old way :
1. sharing internet from your network driver with samsung .
2.putting these ip addresses in the samsung network conn. :
10.1.1.1 as main ip
255.255.255.0 as Default GW
3.opening better terminal emulator from your device & adding the following commands :
su
ifconfig usb0 10.1.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
route add default gw 10.1.1.1 dev usb0
setprop net.dns1 8.8.8.8
now this way was working great for me but after the KJ2 ROM installation it didnt work atall.
i am waiting for an answer from you guys
& thank you
i am starting to bump since no reply till now
woops bump

The answer seems pretty obvious to me, revert to your previous ROM.
thank you for your obvious answer but i am sure that there are another more useful obvious answers in the forum .
& btw people upgrade their properties not downgrading them .
again , thank you for your obvious reply
@DADER,
I agree with the other guy... Return to your previous ROM if yu NEED this feature atleast until someone can give you a better answer.
@DADER,
What the heck is "usb back tethering"? When I do a google search for that exact term in quotes (which guarantees that only that exact phrase is found), the ONLY result I get is this very thread.
Are you trying to do tethering via usb to have your computer use the phone's 3g connection? Or trying to tether the phone to use your computer's network connection?

I did read your post. It is barely comprehensible, which is why I had to ask what the heck you are talking about. And as I said, the term "USB back tethering" in a google search doesn't turn up any pages but this one.
well , a month ago there was a blog which i found in it this method , google is a moody search engine
what the **** , i've been posting this thread for a week & no reply from a mod or developer - i just want if there's a solution or not- ( btw with all of my respect to the members whom participated in this thread ).

What you're talking about is called USB Reverse Tethering. That should clear a lot of things up.
Secondly, if you're not getting a reply, don't just continually bump the thread.
..and finally, take people's advice: if you really need this, then go back to the old setup. If not, stop complaining.
Your best bet would be to contact the original developer, not start a new thread.
screamworks.
.. Or why not take this as an opportunity to learn more about linux? The method you posted sounds like it should work if only you tweaked the commands to work with your new ROM. Start by getting familiar with ifconfig and linux network stack.

I wasn't being aggressive, it's called common sense. Don't start acting as if you're entitled to help from people, when they do it in their spare time out of their own free will - the least you can do is not waste their time by doing some basic searching beforehand.
For windows, you can write a program which moves the mouse pointer and sends keyboard/mouse clicks. Is the same possible in Android?
Thanks
There are already apps that do that, and even you can use to phone todo input text and as a gamepad.

RemoteDroid uses your Android phone to control windows. I want something like RemoteDroid to control another Android. I couldn't find anything so I was going to write one, but as far as I can tell, Android doesn't let you move the mouse pointer. Is this true?
nothing is there yet which can make mouce work on android
but you can try tablet remote to control one android with another
can be used as arrow keys of a keyboard
please tell me about an app with which I can use my mobile as a gamepad after connecting it through USB cable (mobile is rooted)

No mouse though. Starts to confirm my findings that the xda doesn't support mouse control. Darn.
Questions should be posted in Q&A forums, not Development forums.

i'm looking for app that with connecting regular mouse via otg i will control my pc with that mouse.

i tried already to use unified remote, it was ok but it can't move through all the screen...

thanks
Questions go the q&a forum, not general.
You're looking for something that doesn't exist, I'd fix the pc first.

ye i wish to fix it for new laptop motherboard...
You don't need an app to use a USB or Bluetooth mouse, just plug it in, and you will get a mouse pointer automagically. Android supports it natively.
